Hello, I've been looking around the internet for a small problem I'm having while putting my laptop back together(same model as this video). The problem I have is with the ethernet port. When I opened up my laptop a spring came loose from the ethernet port, the one which keeps the port "closed" while not being used. I can not find any way to put it back without it coming loose. It is only a minor issue but I would still like to fix it, can you help?
Thanks! But what about the hinges of this particular model which proved to be very unreliable !!! So thus mine one broke off only after 14 months of accurate usage !!!
Yeah at mine the cooler didn't worked after one year of use and I had to bring it to service and now I have some broken plastic parts from where you can see the heatsink. As a matter of fact when I didn't monitorize my cpu temp I put my finger on the heatsink LOL. Now I optimized the operating sistem (Windows 10 Pro), the drivers, overclocked the Cpu (3.5 Ghz Intel core I7 7500u) and undervolted the Cpu Core , Cache and Intel Gpu and It's kind of a medium spec laptop for gaming If I can say so ( I can play CS GO at 60 fps and Enlisted (an upcoming game with extremely good grapchics) at 25-40/60 fps (deppends on the map) As a Lenovo V130-15ikb user for 3 years I can say that it did it's job pretty darn well (Made projects for school, play with friends good games (Heavy Gaming sometimes) Carried it in trips) I still recommend this laptop if you are good with virtual machines and you are not an ''Epic Gamer" that wants to play at 60fps on ultra and record at 1080p and all of this on a portable device .....
