    Very interesting coverage of the new Boom's ... thank you for your in depth reviews!

    Thank you for such a detailed review. I use the Boom MP and I agree with you, it's easy and fun to use. As you said, the marketing is somewhat misleading as it's not as powerful as one would think. It's more of a nice balance of power and control. The specs of the MP are quite similar to the Yonex Percept 100. I like the addition of the alternate color and will be picking that one up while also continuing to use my 2022 version.

    I bought BOOM MP 2024 yesterday to get a little heavier to my Boom Team. I expected 295g or a little bit less (based on your quality control video). This piece is 301g unstrung so a little on heavy side.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  6 месяцев назад

      The strung specs for the Boom MP are around 310-312g. So yours is actually underspecced. Strings are always 15-17g alone.

      @@CzechTennisGuy 301g unstrung. Strung is 318

      @@NeverMe-Official "This piece is 301g strung so a little on heavy side." - If it is 318g strung, then it is heavier about 6-7g. It would be interesting to measure the swingweight and balance, to know where the extra weight is.

    It’s called the “slow rollout”. Apple under Tim Cook is the ultimate master of this type of marketing and sales tactic. Contrast the Steve Jobs era where Apple was releasing products like their lives depended on it!

      Yes and the great thing about those rackets is that they will not get old. They still perform well. So this is something great about the tennis equipment - ff you wait just one tennis racket cycle, you can have great frames for a great money. It's not neccessary to always buy the newest stuff.

      Boom MP 2022 is much less stable than 2024 and it looks like MP is the worst from BOOM 2022 line. It is too head light with swing weight only 298g. MP 2024 swing weight is 318. 20g difference which makes it completely different racket

      @@NeverMe-Official I have already hit with the new Boom MP V2 yesterday and I had a great time. Very stable for such a light racket, good power, good feel, nice spin and easy to swing. Still I feel that it is little bit underpowered and in some situations a really need to swing super fast to get the ball moving.

      Great video. I am an intermediate male, with topsin forehand. I'm currently demoing a 2024 boom MP. I'm tempted by the reduced price on a boom pro 2022. Do you think that will be OK for me? I also have a recurring wrist tendonitis problem so want it to be arm friendly. Also considering extreme MP. Which do you think is the best of these 3 rackets? Thank you.
