"If someone asks you to do something and you don't think you can do it, take a moment to consider about why they think you can"-My high school orchestra teacher saying goodbye before retiring
"You can do anything you want but you have to deal with the consequences" --- when we asked our 8th grade teacher to the restroom. On the last day of class I went in early to tell a teacher how awesome she was. Afterwards she was perplexed, her response "I thought you hated me"lol
11th grade English teacher. His 37th and last year. Time setting- the 90s. He told me on the last day of classes that I was the best student he’d had in all his years. Of course, he might’ve chosen one student each year and said the same to them. (I’m also NOT claiming to be some sort of prodigy. I DID however do really well in his class. I wasn’t smart enough for scholarships so I didn’t go into journalism but instead the trades.) I digress. Mr. Cole has passed on now, but if he were alive I’d tell him that I never forgot about him or the impact he had on me!
“You are who you are when no one is watching.” As in, your true character is who you are when you think no one can see you. Do you stop at stop signs or red lights even if you’re the only one there? Things like that.
My 5th Grade Teacher, Mr Bridges: The way you're all behaving and acting now, are the stereotypes that you're going to tell the next generation Choices have consequences, the way you act now to each other, don't be surprised when they won't help you later You don't just steal things, you steal time that can't be returned. So don't be surprised that the owner values their time more than you
I was doing the charavter Othello when he had his 'gotcha' moment. I smacked my hand on my desk, pointed at the girl playing Desdemona, and shouted *'Ha!'* then the teacher smacked his hand on his desk, pointed at me, and shouted: *'Stop!'* So I smacked my hand on the desk with much less force, pointed at him, and asked: 'What?' He then demanded to know why I had said it like that, and I told him it was because I was about to win the argument, and he said: "Siege... I've been married for twenty seven years, and you *are never going to win the argument."*
not something said to me, but there are two videos that were recorded in the same school. the blonde kid with long hair who ranted at the teacher saying “you gotta educate them. get them excited about school. you can’t just throw a packet in front of them and expect them to teach themselves. some kids don’t learn that way.” i didn’t meet him, but heard that he was always pretty chill before and after that. and there was the Vine of the teacher crying and shouting “shut up! shut up! shut up!” while a student turns to the camera and laughs about it. Duncanville was pretty much just that. some students being smarter than teachers, other students just being general buttholes to see if they can make the teacher break.
A lot of rather awful things. Making fun of me in front of the entire class for wanting to give her a hug/saying a word wrong. Assuming that I swore at another student SOLELY because I was in counselling and for no other reason (I was there because I was bullied, not because I was bad). Key Stages 1 and 2 can go to hell. Senior school was much better.
When I was held back ( second year in middle school ), my math teacher, Mr Moira, saw me walk in and loudly exclaimed, " Ah, JR, back again? Don't be scared, I will fail you again like I did last year! ". Due to him, I use a calculator when using numbers, he destroyed maths for me. What a complete A-hole of a human being! And that's a teacher????
Everyone starts as the worst guitarist. That teacher sounds like she taught for some ego trip, which to this guitarist might as well be the worst type of guitar teacher: the one who robs the fun from others. Also, the guitar player who constantly compares his skill to other players as if they don't have any more to learn, I don't care what you can play, as far as I'm concerned you suck at guitar. That's exactly the attitude to have to never get better. Why would you not want to get better at guitar, unless, once again, it's really just an ego thing? Ego driven guitarists have gone out of style though. Now it's DJs, singers and dancers!

"You're going to be so successful because are very persistent"
"I feel bad for girls who have braces and started puberty early."
I started puberty very early. I also was wearing braces at this time.
“You’re never going to make it”. I didn’t. 😂
Ouch. (So real)
I'm never going to use this. What's the point? *Teacher "You probably won't. But you'll need to know it to pass the test."
I know things are difficult for you, being deaf, but that is not a good reason to fail
Was that supposed to be motivational or was that like an insult? You can't expect a deaf kid to do well in a normal hearing class

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ❤
Jesus was a shepherd. Shepherds herd sheep.
So what does that make his followers?
I'd rather follow my own instincts than be a blind follower.
