Sometimes people get divorced over dumb and petty reasons, but other times seemingly absurd and small things are just the tip of the iceberg of bigger, more deep-seated reasons. But I think it's pretty safe to say that the bulk of the stories in this thread fall under the "just plain stupid" category.
Know someone who divorced after 25 years of marriage. She told him she was already thinking about it for 3 years. It was a surprise to him. Communication 🤷🏼♂️
I don't think these are the reasons for these divorces so much as they were so full of tension that this was the very last straw that caused take-off was something that seemed minor to others.
I know couples who got divorced because he drank coffee in front of their pre teen. Another one who got divorced because she found out he drank an ice tea on a guys night. Mormons--marriage is forever til you don't follow their rules.
