To be honest pharmacist do earn well, we all know money will never be enough. The funny think is i used to think radiographers, physiotherapist, dietitian, optometrist etc are doctors turns out they are not and their salary compared, pharmacist earn double or third of their salary pa.
Your opinion is relative to your knowledge and understanding of the industry. To say they earn well is misleading because various sectors are have varying payscales and the worst are where the majority are - retail. therefore the spectrum goes from R20k in retail to 80k in regulatory or manufacturing...
@@PharmersConsulting Maybe i should have said registered pharmacists who work in government hospital do get paid well. my cousin is a pharmacist working for the government in the rural hospital and she do gets paid well but like i said before money is never enough lol especially to women.

Thanks Patricia. I think we've forgotten our worth and our importance in the healthcare field. A lot of us just take what we can get and work miserably because we are So underpaid. A lot of Private companies are very guilty of underpaying. This was definitely an eye opener for me. 👍
