A big shout-out to our pharmacy students, I am also a pharmacy student at Wits. Pharmacy is so diverse and innovative, you will learn more in 3rd year and 4th year. You can go to industry (quality assurance, regulatory affairs, sales representative, marketing, etc.)
You can work in a hospital or retail, and you can also be a clinical pharmacist (work in wards e.g. ICU, neonatal care units, etc.) where you monitor patients for drug-drug interaction and antibiotic resistance just to mention a few.
We also have Radiopharmacy (where you prepare radiopharmaceuticals that can be administered to patients with cancer for diagnosis and imaging purposes, You can also do research to discover new radioactives. There is also pharmacovigilance and PCDT, just to mention a few. Pharmacy is so interesting, and rewarding☺

This is the problem with a lot of Pharmacy student. They don't understand Pharmacy.
Pharmacists are masters of medication . More knowledgeable than a Doctor when it comes to medication
Pharmacists are involved in the manufacture of medication,
Doctors are only involved at the end of the chain of healthcare that is a very important point in understanding the difference between the two.
