Hey Christina, thank you very much. I love the lift. It was a very smooth installation process. I did have help from my good friend and my son. Thanks again for commenting.
Great lift, couple edits do not use teflon tape, good idea to lube orings with oil to prevent tearing. Also no snap ring on bottom of saddle, these are interchanged oftem and gravity keeps them in place.
Hey fool. The o ring etc is the seal and should be the only sealing item in the joint. Teflon tape not only is not needed it possibly can interfere with the seal. Lubricate the o ring ALWAYS.
Anyone that starts a conversation off with hey fool obviously has issues with controlling their emotions. With that being said, the instructions call for in which case if something were to fail and they seen you did not follow the instructions, then they would not cover it. Another thing, you do not run the Teflon tape all the way up to the o ring. So I recommend you learn to get a handle on your emotions and learn to talk to people properly and follow the manufacturer’s specification as to not void the warranty. An angry person who doesn’t follow instructions is definitely not someone I want working on my equipment. I wish you the best.
@@handymanPF Actually Teflon tape on hydraulic is only for pipe threads not flared connections and is not in the manufacturer’s specification or installation manual. Also, the snap ring on the bottom of the pad bushing is not required, or you would have to remove it every time you swapped to truck extensions.
@@handymanPFI WOULD HAVE LUBRICATED THE RUBBER O-RINGS ON THE EXTENSION TO THE CYLINDER & THE PRESSURE LINE FITTING O-RING ALSO. JUST HELPS THE O-RING SLIDE AND SEAL. ENJOYED THE VIDEO. THANKS
These two installation videos are fantastic! I'm Christina at APlusLift, and I had to say what a great job you did. Hope all is well with the lift. 😊

@@handymanPF That's great you had help. Most people do. We appreciate you!
Yeah, no Teflon tape on hydraulic fittings. Sure by now you have figured that out.
Thank you for the time you took to do this.
Hay guys I’m getting ready to put my lift up and you make it look easy. Good job 👍🏼
With the cable installation we place one nut below the flange and one nut above the flange. Then tightened against the flange.

How is this lift holding up?
How far into the shop did you install the lift? From the door in? Would you change it's location?
Greetings. I am thinking about ordering 2 of these lifts. How has your experience been?
Great. I still love this lift.
Where is part 3?
Good details thanks

You lost me when the teflon tape came out....
The Teflon tape came with the lift and is part of the installation. I followed the directions so I wouldn’t void the warranty.
Mine did not come with Teflon tape….

Teflon tape and hydraulics don't mix. Thanks for the video, I think I've made up my mind to order one of these lifts.
