Hi Dr. Dray! Thanks for all your great video's! I'm from the Netherlands and recently started using the Nivea sunscreen you discuss in this video. It took me quite some time to find this non-greasy/shiny moisturizing sunscreen that doesn't break me out. I really love the fact that you have used/use it as well, although it has alcohol denat in it. Good to know that there is licorice root in it as well, didn't know that. Happy Thursday! I purchased the Vanicream Lip Protectant/Sunscreen and have been using it for a few weeks now. I can't over the white cast it leaves so I don't use it when I have to go outside. I do use it when I'm just at home and at bedtime and slather a layer of Vaseline on top to really lock in that moisture. It really helps my dry, cracked lips! Thank you, Dr. Dray!
I just got Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face spf 50 about a week ago (I saw it on one of your other videos) and am loving it. it still has a tiny bit of a cast but if I rub it in, it doesn't seem so bad. I find that makeup seems to just sit on top, so I stopped using it (the makeup) and just use a little blush and contour. It is a little shiny, so I may try a little Bare Minerals mineral veil powder over it. I get terrible allergic reactions to other sunscreens (both "sensitive mineral" types as well as chemical ones) and this one has been great with no reaction at all, not even around my eyes. So thrilled I bought it and now I can wear sunscreen every day. Thank you Dr. Dray! I love your videos, they are so helpful!

I just want a good sun protection and that's fine. Love your videos and my skin is getting so much better after following your advices! 💛
Dr.Dray, your videos are so awesome! I'm having my three adults daughter's and two niece's follow you. Dr. Dray, can you please, please, make a video on the best face care for pre-teens. I have a granddaughter and a grand niece 11 and 12 years old. Their parents and I are desperate to know whats best to keep these girls faces as clear as possible. Blemishes have started and we'd like to start a healthy and safe regimen for them. Yrs ago during my daughter's times, I just sent them to a dermatologist and to an esthetician for facials. I mainly bought whatever the esthetician suggested. But I literally had to pick up a part-time job aside from my full time job just to afford face care during their teen yrs. Today I'd do it again for my grandchild, if I had to, but I think things have changed, science has advanced and hopefully you can make a video and help suggest safe products and help save money. Thank you!
Hello Dr. Dray! My mom just hit her 40’s and I watched your video of “skincare in your 40’s” to give her your advice because English is not our first language so she doesn’t understand it. She has problems with hyperpigmentation and would like to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I saved some money and bought her the Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary, the Collagen Booster from The Inkey List and the Retinol Resurfacing Serum from CeraVe (these products are not as affordable here as in the US). I wanted to ask you what would be the best order for my mom to use these products so that I’m able to guide her. I really appreciate the work you do Dr Dray and am really grateful for all your help! ❤️
Hey Dr. Dray :) Thank you for making all of these amazing videos! I have a question: I saw online that you shouldn't use sunscreen when the UV index is below 3. Is that true? Here in Denmark, the UV index is currently 0 most days. Just bought one of the sunscreens from la roche posay that you've talked about in some of your videos and I wonder if I should wait with using it till the UV index is above 3 again ^^
Hello Dr. Dray! Responding your question, yes, this is very very affordable in Europe. Like cheap cheap! La roche posay sunscreens for example are double in terms of price. So yeah I’ll definitely have to try this Nivea one! Thanks for the recommendation :)
Back in the day, I didn’t go through spf fast because I didn’t always reapply and I didn’t do a great job in my application. All that has changed for the better! 🎄
Nivea is the only sunscreen I have tried that doesn’t leave a white cast but also doesn’t leave your skin oily. From the top of my head I’ve tried various ones from bioderma, avene, la roche, Vichy, eucerin and ironically the cheapest nivea (8 euro in Germany) is by far the best in my experience. My only tip would be to get the „0 fettiges Gefühl“ Version since the Q10 does feel ever so slightly oilier. But still miles better then the rest.
I have recently found your channel and I have binged ever since 🙂 I love your sarcasm so much! Especially when you go into stores and read the ingredient list and say all these medical terms and laugh to yourself. I just love it. It makes me laugh. Along with that, I have learned so much from you. Thank you for that.
My favorite sunscreen for a couple of decades was Fallen total block mineral. It has been discontinued for a couple of years. I now use Elta MD and it is very good but I wish I could find a dupe for the total block. Nothing compares to it. The tinted formula could be worn alone and non tinted was great under makeup.
It says a lot for me too to finish up an SPF and repurchase it. I’m a huge fan of the DRMTLGY one since hearing your recommendation. I alternate between that and the Skin Aqua moisture milk one all the time. I really want to try that Neostrata one too. Anyways, happy Thursday Dr Dray and happy holidays!
Dr Dray, love your videos. You provide so much scientific and valuable skincare advice. Do you use the Elta md UV Sport sunscreen daily? Isn’t it too heavy of a sunscreen for daily use?

This NIVEA one is Fantastic! Works under makeup, on it’s own, doesn’t pill or ball, gives a glow, no cast - and it’s available in Mexican drugstores ! So affordable
i am so glad you mentioned nivea sun. i had used the one that you mentioned as first product while they offer great protection and absorbs into skin very smoothly, it did sting and burn my eyes so i changed to using nivea soothing sensative sun lotion. this product surprisingly didnt burn my eyes and also has great sun filters. i highly recommend nivea sunscreen as they are so affordable(in korea they cost 10 dollars per 200ml) and has amazing sunfilters at the same time
My favorite, SPF videos ❤️ have a wonderful Thursday!
thanks for watching!
She always puts a smile on my face.
Hi Dr.
I always love to watch your video's and I hope seeing more of them for a long time to come! Thank you sooo much
Happy Thursday! Dray!
the DMTLGY sunscreen looks sensational on you. it creates such a beautiful canvas.
You uploaded this just as I was debating which sunscreen to buy :)
Would loooove to see a tour of your skincare collection and organization 💛
I like before watching 👍🏻👍🏻
Loving my 52 year old skin ♥️
Happy Thursday!
I just purchased CeraVe tinted spf 30,love all the beneficial ingredients, but it gives my sensitive skin an oily apperance,I blot it down with a primer,I wear it daily in the house to protect from indoor & kindle fire & window lighting.Very good for if I go out walking. 🙏✨🌲⛄
I love Sunny by Bobby Hebb. Unexpected, made me smile. Thanks for the cheer!
Me too!
I really missed the cute intro which is
Well heyyy guysss😂😂😂
Elta MD UV Clear is a dewy finish on me during the Summer. (Which I prefer 👍🏼)
your sunscreen recommendations are my favorite type of videos! hope you are doing well!
Happy Thursday! I just started with tretinoin and Isdin Fotoprotector SPF 50+ is doing a good job here. I'm slowing caring less and less about the "people-can-see-you're-wearing-sunscreen" problem. I just want a good sun protection and that's fine.
Love your videos and my skin is getting so much better after following your advices!
💛
this intro was my favourite yet
Thank you!
that's true, the nivea one you get it at the drugstore as low as $5-7 dollars in Mexico
Hello Dr.
What do you think about Lubriderm products?! Have a great day and Merry Christmas 😊🎄
I would like to know too
Hey Dr. Dray :)
Thank you for making all of these amazing videos!
I have been wondering about the nivea one, so happy you reviewed it!! Definitely going to try it out :)
Hello Dr. Dray! Responding your question, yes, this is very very affordable in Europe. Like cheap cheap! La roche posay sunscreens for example are double in terms of price. So yeah I’ll definitely have to try this Nivea one! Thanks for the recommendation :)
dr dray, what’s your take on nivea products, body sunscreen and their lotions?
Never stop watching your videos and has educated me a lot l, hope you grow and Wish you great skin health !
I was literally looking for a video on sunscreens and omgg! you're a savior
Your skin looks extra amazing in this video!!
Dr dray is probably the few derms on youtube that is lenient toward chemical sunscreen. Others are acting like it’s a ticking time bomb or sth
I love you Dr Dray. Thank you for your helpful products recommendations/advice to keep skin maintenance routines simple. Happy holidays to you and wishing us all a better year in 2021.
