Pulled a 350 out of a junkyard 1990 Sierra, 332k miles and it was the lowest mile 350 in the yard. Literally some of them were in the 400, 500, even 600k mile range. Rebuilt that sucker from the ground up with vortec heads, flat top pistons and a thumpr cam, and I’m throwing it in my 91 camaro. Good for 300k more
I have 331,000 miles on my 1995 Chevrolet Suburban. The original 350 still runs well, but the original 4l60e is unfortunately on it's last legs. Still a great truck though.
Chevy trucks have been in my family since my great grandfather. My grandfather has a 1970 chevy c60 crane truck for hoisting signs and it still runs strong. Chevys my heritage
I'm casting a doc about pick-up truck owners ... it's about Americana and how people use their trucks ... their connection with their trucks ... I'd love to chat with you if you live in TX or CA. Please send e mail to smcnyla at gmail dot com by March 21st, 2018
My 04 Silverado 5.3 had 240k on it when I sold it. Never had one issue. My 2014 High Country is now at 193k. Only replaced AC condenser and that was it.
My 2011 victory red z71 with the ole 5.3 has 225k miles all original still takes me to work everyday always loaded down with something great truck Id definitely but it again
I drive an 87, the odometer doesn't work, but the guy who sold it to me estimated 185,000 so based off the fact that he just wanted it sold im guessing it has a lot more than that probably well over 200,000 miles and that thing runs like it's just broke in man I love it. It used to be a telephone company's truck a few decades ago lol so I'm sure they put a lot of miles on it alone
Problem where I live, is the motor and trans outlast the body and frame, new englad salt gets into our duramaxes and they can just rot, but weve never had major issues with em
I had a 90 350 got it with 2499k sold it with over to 260k ran great and then I had a 94 k1500 4.3 got it with 223000 had it for a year sold it with 251k love Chevy!!!!
2010 2500hd 4wd l6 gas,,376,250k,,,,,,,,,,,truck before this one was a 2000 c2500 2wd with a 350 gas ,,,,had 419,000 miles when I traded it In,,,,,,nothing runs better than a chevy......
I want a 2001-2006 duramax, as little as I drive if I buy a 40k mile one I bet it won't hit 100,000 miles for 10 years and as long as a truck stays loyal as far as reliability with me taking care of it I don't see why it wouldn't last me 30+ years
2007 Silverado Classic Crew Cab bought it new has over 157K and cranks up every morning with out a glitch. 2003 GMC Sierra 70k still runs. Neighbor has been through 3 Dodges and 1 Ford and always ask those trucks are not engineered like a Chevy!!
And then they made AFM and DOD,kids are now giving dad back that truck and getting a square body old school pickup because that’s when Chevy was reliable.yeah having heated seats and comforts are great but I like my truck to run.
If you delete the AFM system then they’ll last as long as you want them too unless the frame corrodes away. It’s costly but worth it. Not really sure about reliability in terms of anything post 2015. We’ll see I guess.
“Most dependable, longest lasting trucks…” Tell that to Toyota 😂. Anybody ever seen a Tacoma break down under 300k? Anyone ever seen a Hilux break down under 400k?
They dont if not on salt covered roads. I have 04 silverado 2500 4x4 with 185000 miles all original still runs like new and not a bit of rust. If roads are salty I try to plan to go on another day
All the Ford fans will have something to say blah blah blah your f150,f250and f350 suck! I drive around my city and still see C10 and C20 rolling around hardly ever see a Ford older then the 2000's why? Ford tough my ass!..... Own 2001 Silverado 2500 has the 6.0 in it 294k two SUV with the 5.3 in them one has 345k the other 267k and a 1969 c20 with 257k all still have original motors and trans in them and still run amazing can driving them across the country..... Chevy for life # Like a rock baby # keep hating
I like my duramax but gm needs to be responsible and manage it's money better and stop outsourcing it's jobs to other countries and stop bragging. just build a better truck
Personally, I don't give a shit who makes my truck. I want a new LTZ Z71 Silverado, which is made in Mexico, and that's okay as long as it's built right.
1992 chevy G-20 van 847,769.3 miles and still runs like a top. no matter the chevy. they are all like a rock.
Dat rimes

And this is the most important thing in cars - RELIABILITY. Wish all producers would put this as a highest priority
Not anymore. Profit is more important to automakers now.
My Dad ‘s 96 Silverado still running strong at 287,000 miles 💪🏿
I've always liked those Chevy & GMC full-size pick-ups that were made from '73 through '87 which is my favorite body style.
I love Chevy and GMC fulls size trucks, 85-88 is my favorites
i wish they still had these kind of ads
Yesss
Wow. 2 million miles? Amazing!

My favorite and the truth told best.
Chevrolet, the most dependable, most reliable trucks on the road.
I have 331,000 miles on my 1995 Chevrolet
Suburban. The original 350 still runs well, but the original 4l60e is unfortunately on it's last legs.
Still a great truck though.

224,000 miles on my '04 Silverado Z71 & still going strong!
Martin Gomez . what oil you use to reach 224k. I'm guessing Valvoline or Castro?
Benito JR shit 224,000 is nothing for a ls oil doesn’t matter as long as it’s full
2003 Silverado LT with 165k miles. Only issue was the water pump. Flawless truck!
The truck that can survive a tornado
07 duramax 325*** and still kicking ass
05 with 300k
06 lbz @ 350,000
286000 on a 1997 silverado z71 gotta love these trucks
I drive an 87, the odometer doesn't work, but the guy who sold it to me estimated 185,000 so based off the fact that he just wanted it sold im guessing it has a lot more than that probably well over 200,000 miles and that thing runs like it's just broke in man I love it. Reliability reliability reliability is number one
My 01 silverado 14,579 miles all original just got it passed down to me and I hope to see it go like these
My 2014 Silverado V6 4x4 Crew Cab story began early December 2017 with 36000 miles.
Problem where I live, is the motor and trans outlast the body and frame, new englad salt gets into our duramaxes and they can just rot, but weve never had major issues with em

Wish chevys commercials were still like this instead of "real people not actors" bs
275k on my 95 2wd gmc, was used as a burnout comp truck, still has the original motor, 3rd trans, and about to get a new rear axle.
Got a 85 k10 with 1mil on the clock. Still runs like new
Lo mejor que trajo ese pais 🇺🇸 la imbencion de las trocas como estas
I want a 2001-2006 duramax, as little as I drive if I buy a 40k mile one I bet it won't hit 100,000 miles for 10 years and as long as a truck stays loyal as far as reliability with me taking care of it I don't see why it wouldn't last me 30+ years
God damn right!!
My mother's suburban made it to 300,000 before she finally sold it to its next owner
My dads car has 398,546 miles on it

Lol, "results not typical"
I remember these ads
mine was the v6 07 silverado classic. hwy beast. almost made it to 200k. now i drive the 2020 trax, better on gas
hol' up, so that Chevy squarebody is the only vehicle with 2 million miles?
Over hill over Dale chevrolet will never fail
Wonder if I'll make it that far... 01 chevy Tahoe currently at 311,000 and some change she's still kicking
Keep all the fluids changed, they'll run forever.

My friens 2.600.000 km 1995 Chevy D20 (diesel) my Chevy D20 (turbo diesel) 550.000
More by far old Chevys in the road than ford or dogde! Wish Chevy still had great commercials but seems dogde only has fanboy commercials!
1:00
2016 Silverado, 16,786 miles and needs an engine
“Most dependable, longest lasting trucks…”
Tell that to Toyota 😂. Anybody ever seen a Tacoma break down under 300k? Anyone ever seen a Hilux break down under 400k?
When was this filmed
I'm a chevy guy and all but we all know after 10-15 shit starts rusting to hell 😂
Not always but it does start rusting to hell after that long. All 3 brands have that same problem.
They dont if not on salt covered roads. I have 04 silverado 2500 4x4 with 185000 miles all original still runs like new and not a bit of rust. If roads are salty I try to plan to go on another day
I’m a Chevy guy, but the guy left out when he said over 2 millions on it, how many engines or rebuilds did you have!
Considering small block v8s needed major overhaul by about 200k miles id say probably 4 rebuilds. If its an inline 6 or a diesel mayby only 2 rebuilds
The 2 million mile truck was powered by an Oldsmobile diesel, in 1985, he replaced it with a 6.2 Detroit Diesel.
** Results Not Typical ** hahaha
If you dislike this video your just a regular old ford sissy
So far, as of now, 7 people have the OLD NEW FORD and over 300 have the ADVANCED NEW CHEVY.
Anything will get to 2M if u keep rebuilding components

I like my duramax but gm needs to be responsible and manage it's money better and stop outsourcing it's jobs to other countries and stop bragging. just build a better truck
