The latest Vegas odds on Dabo going to Alabama are 25/1 ( as of 3:30 CST ). Lane Kiffin is looking like the one. Lanning has said in the last hour that he does not want to move his family.
Fan # 2 who does not want Dabo to leave. I believe he has built an amazing program here. He would be very hard to replace. I grew up a Clemson Fan ( back to the 70s ) yes I do bleed Orange.
Saban will always be Georgia's daddy. Old washed up Saban and his QB Mildew ended Georgia's streak. Amazing.

Aagreed if Dabo left the culture at Clemson is gone. My opinion is that Saban left because of portal. Saban is ole school like Dabo, they believe in player development...with the portal, if you have not developed a vetting and recruit8ng process like Dabo...you will be forever dependent on transfers and not team development. I hear and read all the time fans wanting Dabo to use the portal and it is clear to me, they do not understand the process. First there is a standard for Clemson FB program, that is the first priority and 2ndly, there is a University standard
...and finally Dabo does not have the scholarships available to go wholesale shopping or is he willing to invest in a kid that was not even on Clemson radar during recruiting...I know folks are frustrated when you see Ga and Fla and Mia with revolving door transfers....and a stat I saw on Ga football team graduation rate, 41% was just alarming, Clemson does not have the the purse like a ND Penn State Oregon or even South Carolina....its lil ole Clemson like Dabo has said its like that train that could...Dabo is not leaving what he built, Clemson is home...Clemson has a top 5 roster...these kids just need to play football on the football field and for those folks who want Dabo to leave so a coach can come in and do wholesale portal shopping...Clemson graduates 99% of ther players...no other program does that...yes I get frustrated with Dabo for running those same poorly executed plays and thats what it is...just poorly executed and the portal will not fix that...I remember folks upset with Danny Ford with the wishbone that trap play and always wanting him to throw more...wow how times have changed with folks wanting Dabo to run more #ALLIN 🐯
As a Alabama fan I don’t want Dabo. To me it’s Dan Lanning or bust.
I think Dan Lanning is the one that can follow Saban. He has proven he can recruit, coach, and manage a top tier program.
Dabo wants to go to bama. Hes tired of fighting with the fans of clemson. But bama doesnt want dabo. Hes not an elite coach. Hes running clemson into the ground.
Sark and lanning wont take the job. Lane kiffin would.
Bama never ever would call Kiffin. To much show for Bamas taste. Deboer from Washington or Mike Norvell thats what i think.
