Bald Eagle Vs Snow Geese

- Earthflight’s epic adventure begins in the Gulf of Mexico as five million snow geese prepare to fly the entire length of North America. Each spring, these families of geese head north on a gruelling 3,000-mile journey to the Arctic to breed.
America's national bird, the bald eagle, plummets into the flock of snow geese to grab a meal but soon gets confused by the white out caused by them all taking flight. It's not long until she focuses her attention instead on some overwintering coots.
Earthflight (Winged Planet) uses many different filming techniques including filming “imprinted” flocks from microlites, wild flocks filmed from model gliders and silent drones, full-sized helicopter with stabilised mounts and cameras on the backs of trained birds, to create the experience of flying with birds as they reveal some of the greatest natural and man-made monuments of the planet.

So basically, the same strategy those Storm Area 51 people are employing.
When a middle school kid bully the elementary kid and the elementary kid brings their squad little did anyone know they happen to be friends with the whole class
U mean the whole shcool
Was that a camera mounted on the eagle? Incredible...
Think drone footage
@@Vallentie._Fam but there's literally a shot of a camera mounted on the eagles back,,, unless they landed a drone on this eagle it's definitely an attached camera at some points
@@williamb6300 or a drone flying filming
@@Vallentie._Fam or they got a guy with a trainer bird and put a camera on it. Based on how It's such a close shot, a drone couldn't get that close without cutting it up.
1:01 .. 1 FPS
Don't worry. Our Dyson sphere has enough power to render that.
Goddamn all those birds were making my damn eyes hurt
1:06 my screen when I burned 20 TNT's in Minecraft
Whoa! Bald eagle cam!
Where I live, there is a mass amount of bald eagles and Canadian, snow & spotted geese, the bald eagles are here year round, even in -50C weather
"Mighty Eagle!"
-Peter Dinklage, 2016
Ah Earthflight, classic bird documentary for me
Beautiful bird! 🦅😀👍
Did the Eagle have a gopro or some sort of camera attached to it? How were you able to get those shots? TYIA
Drone. I think.
Stark's satelite camera duh
No it was mounted on the eagle.
It wasn’t even the same eagle.
If the lion is king of the jungle, then the eagle is king of the sky.
how beautifully shot
"They are also weak flyers"
BRO I ONCE SAW A COOT FLY REALLY HIGH UP BETWEEN THE TREES LIKE I BELIEVE I CAN FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
If all those geese ganged up on the eagle I’d bet they could turn the tides of natural selection
1:47 "She must look for easier option"...Underwater...
Me: Yeah right
Beautiful shots! i hope you find all you want in your career
Eagle attacks as "America, F-Yeah!" plays.
Great vid. Ty4Sharing John !
Wolf🐺 👍
1:01 aah yes I can see that
The eagle came to spread freedom
I like how it was almost never the same eagle unless they set a tamed and trained eagle out on the flock for these shots
Yes this type of "edits" are so unnatural as its not genuine. They also have started using CGI lately, saw it on a bbc clip where a lioness hunts buffalos. Its ridicolous to use CGI on nature documentaries.
Amazing video, I love birds.
Mighty eagle be like get off my property 🙄
The only animal predator i enjoy watching capture its prey. . Eagles. Snow geese . What a tactic. 😮
Decompression really hitting this one hard
It hurts my eyes to watch this
Aaaaoooh...so that's what this means when they say the cackling of geese saved rome....
Love it!
And they said the Canada Goose was overpopulated.

Like a Mexican wave? What the hell is that?
It's what the wave is actually called. You know when a Stadium of people stands up is succession flinging their arms above their heads. Apparently it became popular are they Mexican soccer game in the 80s
mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine....
0:56 like a Mexican Wave?? How those birds look like a Mexican Wave ???? Explain to me because i don't understand.
So. Eagle against coot

02:27 Terrorists when the Apache helicopters come flying by
Lol
Target rich environment
Mexican wave I don't get it?
poor duck lol
Wow thiusands of geese and other waterfowl tired themselves out just because of one eagle. Throughout time and evolution you would think the geese would be more intelligent.
Ok
Eagles don’t usually sound like that, do they...
Most eagles do, in my own opinion, sound like giant seagulls. You're likely thinking of a red tail hawk's call, which is usually used to dub over bald eagles in film.
Like a Mexican wave??? 😳 you couldn't have thought of any other metaphor?
I thought i was the only one who listen to that 💩💩
It's a soccer metaphor
