you'll notice everything on the map feels cleaner and more realistic - i think it's because they added rocks and boulders! there weren't really any boulders on gateway in the hot spots before, and we didn't have anything similar to spiro's raptor rock or that one volcano-lookin rock

along with the little red and white flowers so the map has some more color , its really nice
considering the lake having infinite water supply to make a river, thats very "realistic"
I think it is also because they changed the tree's and grass a bit they look more lush.
Also you may have completely missed out on the new foliage in the forest and on the ground in NE plains, they added a lot of sabalites to the ground there and it looks way less empty. Also the jungles actually feel like jungles now with the new foliage and trees
I saw the new trees and plants :D
just missed travelling with ptera, it helps me to understand the terrain quickly
Besides some fps tanking issues I encountered on the horde branch (I sent a bug report), all the changes seem great :) now they just need to make the nights a bit less oppressively dark 👌

I think the broken gate is a lore reference, as its WAY to big of a gab to be caused by a rex, maybe a hypo rex or something, or brachi…? Idk
Game looks great once the fps stabilizes. I really hope they make this year an important one in terms of new content. The community is begrudgingly patient when it comes to updates but some pleasant surprises would definitely be good for the game as a whole. My wishlist for this year includes diablo, rex, trike, maia, austro, mutations, elders, and steam achievments. If most or all of these are implemented by the end of the year I'd call it a success.
If all those come out this year we can pretty much call the isle like 50% finished
@@kmp3-gaming986 Yeah it's a lot to add but there's still like 40 more playables to add and also tribals and mercs. The rex, trike, diablo, and mutations are all somewhat finished and will probably be ingame sometime in autumn. That leaves a small window in winter for a final content update. They could add maia and austro here along with steam achievements. Elders might have to be pushed back to early 2025 as we haven't really seen any news about it.
@@crabhater9373 isn't the humans added now? and they look bad compared to the dinos, the humans are not that well done in terms of animations looks etc, all they got is one arm holding a pistol. you think they will fix that?
@@AaronOmar-co8bn They want the mercs and tribals to have the same amount of content as the dinos. It's always been one of the more distant goals for the isle. The humans we have now are basically placeholders for what the real humans will be.

before I thought those were the actual made humans added to the isle, thinking it would be permanent, and thinking I would not try the game since how goofy or how robotic they look😂.
I like how the rock edges close to each other 3:40 I think you can jump over it, and be safe as a omni if someone chases you

I love this game more than words can describe. The atmosphere music and lighting are so relaxing, yet when there is danger it feels so Scary.
Looks amazing the biggest issue I had with this game was the awful lighting and horrible weather I am so glad that the devs are finally fixing it
I feel like in the hordetest, the stam is back to the bad old days, at least for ptera. Takes five-minutes' worth of stam refill just to get up a small incline. Seriously, it's so bad, I parked in a tree and went for a walk around the block. I don't know why the devs want to make it such a slogging labor to get around the map. I'm so happy to see the turtles back, though!

@@KougaArt Hopefully when it's time for the official update, we'll get the newer stam back. The map does look great. I also love the new flowers. And I'm pretty sure ptera has a better turning radius again? I also like the bucks with the big antlers.
@@flashgordon6510 I'm not so sure about the turning radius, didn't spend much attention in it, but man, I NEED to see the new baby deer!
@@KougaArt They're awesome! I was just playing carno, and the swamps are full of deer, so it's finally a fun place to go. I found fawns and piglets too. Absolutely loving all the changes. Hopefully we'll get some new playables over the summer. They're on the right track for sure!
Hop on a carno and try to move around only by charging. Stam gone in seconds. Does it seem right? Certainly not to me but this is exactly what ppl are doing with ptera and they are getting mad at it. The best playable in terms of reach and stam usage. Period. To this day I still cannot believe that ppl have not realized how to play ptera right.

The Devs are really out doing themselves in the creativity, who ever thought the day would come. Where playable environment would become a reality, keep on dreaming of things to come.......

Yeah there's a couple things you missed. They completly redid it, more boulders, better looking trees.

i'm gonna miss the dam, such an iconic part of the NE plains but I can understand why they removed it to prevent players from abusing it to avoid predators.

It looks amazing! That broken fence though, I don't think that it was a rex, because the is a thick concrete wall and it's too big of a gap for a rex. Sauropod or hypo maybe? My opinion though.
Kouga The Isle has Lumen which is Unreal Engine's own version of Ray Tracing. It's just as good as RT too, if not better :) It also doesn't tank your frames as much as RT does
sadly it does tank my frames, as everytime I activate it I lose more than 30fps

3:58 does anyone know what this graphic effect is called? where the wing of the ptera kinda imprints on the water and looks "fuzzy"? it has always annoyed me and was wondering if it was my graphics settings or just part of the game.
Still having some performance issues though and I know this is a test but does anyone know anyways to improve it I have a rtx 4060 and I was getting 120 fps in the last patch now im lucky to even get 60 sometimes.

Btw, if you thinking about getting a new GPU, I got myself a RTX 3060ti. In my opinion the best card in terms of price performance on nVidia. My 1080 died so I had to look for something new and I was stunned about the performance of that card. Its even better then a 2080 Super and way cheeper :) And you would have raytracing with it
i'm thinking about a RTX 4060 or 4060ti! Since i'm a streamer/youtuber, so that AV1 would fit like a glove! It's not that expensive here but still, i don't have enough money to fit it with a new processor (makes no sense to change only the GPU if my CPU already hits 100% and caps the GPU anyways)
@@KougaArt If you have a bit money extra, I would always go for the ti version. I have a i7 7700k, so an older cpu but it works fine so far with the 3060ti, but yes, the cpu is the bottleneck on my side but I'm also far away to have the money for a upgrade

AI exists finally so I’m happy, I can finally grow a Dino last juvie cause there’s AI to feed on, but is the herbivore/omnivore diet still sanctuary mushrooms?
yes, they can either go to sanctuaries and get free perfect diet or stay in the migration zone to find the nutrients
@@KougaArt so outside of sanctuary the only way to get food is migration zone or was it changed for everywhere to have food cause last time I checked the diet was only sanctuary mushrooms
@@RandomMackem3247 there are only 2 paths to get your nutrients, either sanctuary or migration. Once you grew too much, the bees will not let you in sanctuary again, so you NEED to rely on your migration zones only. In migration you can find same species friends or your future death :D

@@Hypnoz____1 if you're playing Evrima, then hordetesting is the version of tests, which means that you can test stuff before they get in evrima as a public release

a massive testing branch, you can join it by changing your beta to hordetesting
