Hello missus, greetings from England, and thank you kindly for this here 'peach' of a recipe. To all the people saying "DO NOT STIR!" and "Too much cinnamon!" etc.? If this lady did not do those things, she would be making YOUR cobbler! and this is HER cobbler! annnnd...now it's mine too! woo hoo!🍑. All the best "Ya'll" and thanks again🙂
Welcome! Oh my goodness! You are so right! Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I hope you and yours enjoy this delicious peach cobbler as much as I do. 😊
@@HowDoYouCookBackToBasics You are most welcome missus! I’m sure there are many delicious peach cobblers from many different homes! and I for one wouldn’t mind trying them all😊 and luckily, thanks to kind folks such as yourself..I can🥳 all the best to you.
Thank you. Looks wonderful. I will try that.
Hope you enjoy! 😊
Some vanilla into the crust also instead of all that can milk replace 1/4 of it with buttermilk
Different from the way my family makes it because of two things: drain the peaches before spooning them on top and Do Not Stir. That way your cobbler "bread" rises to the top and isn't gooey or soupy.
I like the soupy gooey cobbler. A dry cobbler just doesn't appeal to me. To each his own.
@@HowDoYouCookBackToBasics My grandma would always drain off just about half of the juice so it would be just the right amount of moisture, not too dry and not too goopy. She would add a tsp of vanilla to her batter and also mixed in cinnamon, brown sugar to the peaches before adding them to the batter.
That's how we always made it!
Grate recipe you do great job
Thank you so much! 😊
Just found you and two ingredients biscuits, will be trying those as my scones never turn out as good as they should. Now memories peach cobbler from when we lived in the US…….you have me hooked. Thank you from an ex POM in Australia
Homemade peach cobbler is the best.
I'll try some. Different. Fruits. Too. See what happens. Lol. I love blackberries
I will definitely make this cobbler. I love peaches and easy recipes. Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
IM GOING TO MAKE. THIS TODAY. FOR MY FATHER IN LAWS. JACKS 92 ND BIRTHDAY ! WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM.

I
It's so good! 😋
Vanilla flavor and cinnamon
Most definitely for next time! Thanks for watching! 😊
Can't wait to try this it looks so good!🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑
Hope you like it!
I Make Mine Like That Have Done It For Years ... I Use Just A Few Grains Of Nut Meg And Allspice {No Cinnamon; I'm Allergic} 🤭 I Also Add Vanilla And A Splash Of Lemon Juice ... (I Just Don't Like It Too Sweet) 🍑
Sounds great! 😋
@@HowDoYouCookBackToBasics You Are So Kind; Thanks For Replying !!!
You are so welcome! 😊
Would this work with canned Apple pie filling instead of peaches
I bet it would. I'm gonna try this with fresh and canned blueberries also. 😋
That's the old church recipe, my mom made it all the time never stir!!
Hello I can use sweet potato for cobbler recipe??
Hi James, I would think so, but I would have to research exactly how to do that. You would probably have to cook the sweet potatoes first. Thank you for watching! 😊
The only difference in mine is I don't use evaporated milk I use regular milk. And I don't use three cans of peaches. I use one large.
I think 2 cans of peaches would’ve been just fine or the large can like you use.
Look more like peach pie
Taste like peach cobbler. YUMMM!!! 😋
No it doesn't, Peach Pie has a top and bottom crust, this doesn't
@@dianagills9558 i like 3 crust in my cobbler
Can we substitute the sugar with Splenda?
I would think you could, but I haven't tried it that way yet. Thank you for watching! 😊
What size of casserole dish did you use?
2.5 quart casserole dish
@@HowDoYouCookBackToBasics thank you looks delish going to try tomorrow
It's soooo good!!! I hope you like it! 😋
I did exactly what you did and mine turned into a block of dough on the bottom with peaches on top. 🤔
super easy. But because I'm diabetic, I would substitute the sugar with Swerve, and the evaporated milk with almond milk.
Sounds like you have a great plan!
I'm diabetic as well...I used peaches in natural juice not Syrup. And used Truvia I personally don't like the taste of Swerve unless I have to use the powder version for frosting. And I found unsweetened evaporated milk. Sugar content in Almond milk is higher than regular milk unless you get the unflavored and Unsweetened almond milk which is terrible. And no, DO NOT STIR it...🙂
Thats a good idea.. I usually just end up paying for eating the sugar becuz i did not think abt doing the same. Thank you.
Have you ever tried Monk fruit powder sugar substitute? My friend uses it and loves it! I tried a product with it and it had no after taste, I couldn't tell it wasn't sugar! Good it helps you in your future dishes! 🫶
I'd. Drain one can of the. Peaches. It's. Too. Juiced.
So Southern....Love that cinnamon too! I have never tried the evaporated milk...That would make it even richer!
It definitely makes your cobbler richer tasting. ☺
i know fresh pick peaches are better. But where can you fine any in the middle of Nov.? Lucky there can peaches out 🤗 That will work. 🥺
W0W very good recipe thanks for sharing I never seem the milk and flour added in peaches cobbler thanks again ❤💚
We do cinnamon & nutmeg. I like how simple this looks! 👌🏻💜
I've thought about that also. Thanks for your comment and for watching!
Yes, nutmeg.
I grew up on peach cobbler. The evaporated milk is new for me, though, and so is the cinnamon. I'll have to make one of these! 🙏❤
Evaporated milk a no no, I have used in my past but after reading the content I changed this recipe to 3/4 cup of Milk and 1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt. Cooking time is longer also I did use a stick of butter but next time I will cut that in half or 1/2 cup of butter 1/2 cup Canola Oil. I have sugared my Cinnamon and enjoy a good sprinkle on this recipe. The Cobbler was delicious ! I also if caned Peaches put them in a strainer didn't use the juice. Tons of sugar not necessary. I'm a food scientist at heart and a great cook. Just try it ... don't undercook. Anita Gunderson
I enjoyed this video and would say there are many ways to make Peach Cobbler. This is Her version and I like it. She makes it simple and easy. Thanks for this video!
Hi Keyona! Yes, there are many, many ways to make Peach Cobbler. This is just my little simple recipe. Thank you for your positive comment and for your support of the channel. Thanks for watching! 😊
I like that she makes it simple and easy she did a super job.
Oh 😂, I caught this video after I attempted to make a peach cobbler "dump style ". The flavor did what it was supposed to do but it was just peach dumplings soup. Only because it was so sweet that I thought to use plain yogurt i had on hand. Best peach parfait cups ever! 😮
Will make again.
But your recipe is in my saved list. I can't mess it up this time 😂, thank you!❤
I have a fresh peach cobbler recipe that was put up recently. You should check it out it out. ruclips.net/user/shortsuuuivGXLDZU?si=vbw9plbYgCktlho2
Like the video but the mixing bowl sounds like someone nails on a chalk board
Sorry about that
You may want to use a silicone spatula to clean your bowl out. It will definitely clean your bowl out and you won't have anything left. I love mine, it was inexpensive and I got it at Walmart. This recipe looks so, so good! ♡
@@steffaniemcbee4519 Yea, I didn't think about that until after I posted the video. I'll try to remember not to use anything that would make a horrible sound.
For those of us don’t have a nifty oval casserole dish, can you do this with 9 x 13 baking pan?
Of course you can
Hi. I've made this before your way and it is good! I forgot whether I used salted or unsalted butter.
I used salted I believe
Looks so good. You make it looks like a breeze!😋
It's pretty easy to do once you have everything together.😊
Way too much liquid, that’s why it doesn’t come up in good shape, good try though 👍
I don’t like a dry cobbler. I could’ve taken the juice out of one of the cans to make it less. It was delicious though. Thanks for watching! 😊
What degree do you cook it on??
Looks delicious!
Do you use real butter or stick margarine??? It looks so good !!! I want to make it right away. But, I need an answer to my question.
Hi KellyJo! I always use real butter in my recipes. No margarine ever. Thanks for the compliment and for watching the video! 😊
I am so excited now that I have a new recipe!! definitely going to serve with vanilla ice cream
something easy and yummy..😋
I-think you are so natural and I love your accent !!
