I think you’re spot on that the feedback from the game is still terrible. Watching the video I’d have guessed you had more than 96% because the misses aren’t as obvious as in the RS or RS2014. It’s one of those things that seems like a small fix but it’s been bad since R+ released based on the videos I’ve watched. Not sure how you’re supposed to improve if you can’t see what you’re doing wrong. It could be that it’s odd notes throughout the song or just one section that really needs work and you’ll never know!

is the issue they've been having liscencing metallica because of the Guitar Hero game? it seems with these releases and the fact they have the license to the song but not the master recording seems to indicate that metallica themselves don't have an issue with it.

So they increase the price to get more music licenses, then they region lock it so a large portion of their users cannot even access the content they are now paying more for. And even if you do have access to these new songs, they can - and likely will - be removed at any time without notice. Incredible, big brain move. I get that music licensing is complicated, but this is just a shitty deal for the players.

I dislike what Ubi have done with Rocksmith as much as the next person (which is why I don’t subscribe) but you can’t blame them for the ridiculous state of music licensing that exists. They could have taken the approach of saying if we can’t have a track worldwide then it doesn’t go in the game at all and that way everyone loses. At least this way, some people can play Metallica and so could you, you’d just need a VPN. It’s true it maybe removed at any time, but that’ll be down to licensing, not because they want to remove huge tracks from the catalog, but everything will go eventually so why would you do anything?
How are you playing songs on max difficulty with notes still showing? Mine are disappearing on "Learn a song" and I don't know the tabs by heart yet.

I tried rocksmith plus. Idk if it’s my setup or a bug. There is a loud screeching that happens when the tone switches mid song. The only time it doesn’t screech is before the tone switches or when I’m actually playing notes. I use iRig. It does not screech in GarageBand so that’s what makes me think it’s a game issue
I used to play rocksmith 2014 and 2012 and I didn't have this issue back then but when I am trying to play rocksmith+ it is giving me alot of feedback especially if I touch the strings. Any idea? having alot of issues with it detecting proper notes due to this. I am hoping my old rocksmith cable isn't dying or something.
Try calibrating and when you calibrate it asks you to mute. Mute and then take your hand off the strings. This has helped me. So do not hold you hand on it when muting. Mute it and remove hand. Plz lmk if it works!

I just tried it and I still get mega feed back the moment I touch the strings on heavy distortion songs. I just tested with Deftones my own summer. I was hoping that was it since the instructions looked like you had to keep your hand on it for that but it is still doing it even doing it with just silencing and letting go and pressing the calibrate. Still suspecting maybe something with my cable I will have to try to find a high distortion effect in FL studio or something to see if it does it there too.

@@Shredder8267 Weird none of my previous replies showed up here. Thank you I did not realize you had to let hand off the instructions were not clear and it's much different than the rocksmith 2014 where you strum a bunch. It unfortunately made zero difference though. I think it might be my cable if I touch my cable it often makes noises. I am about to try running the cable through the pulleys I have on the ceiling for VR to see if I can make sure it doesn't touch itself or any other wires anywhere to see if that helps.
EDIT: Very minor improvement running the cable through my pulley system but somewhat of an improvement. Highly suspecting my cable is just going bad on me. I kinda want to get a Scarlett interface at some point and just use a regular patch cord just not sure if I wanna do the Solo or the 2i2.
Oh dang. Well of course it was on rocksmith 2014 for me and someone said something that the game can since the strings or something and when you put your hand over it, it messes up. Sorry it didn’t fix it. Mine cut the static down drastically and the first time I recalibrated I played for 5 hours that night bc every song sounded so good.

No, there are songs you could chart that Ubisoft didn't do arrangements on. But if they're not licensed you can't put them in RS+
