I also have a 21 Trd OR, but I’m thinking about trading next year for a 25 Trd OR. I want to give them a year for any bugs, let the newness cool off for prices and see how the hybrid max does & if it’d be worth the extra. Plus see if Honda comes out with a new gen Ridgeline, hopefully with a strong hybrid and more ground clearance.

Oh how the mighty Have fallen. tacoma no longer the king in this category. How can it be an offroad Worthy when you put the tail pipe hanging down so low? Who is the moron that came up with this design? And the reliability of the redesign is questionable.

I agree. I regret selling my tacoma 3rd gen for school. Was planning to buy another tacoma once i finish school but now imma have to go buy a used one or go for a ford or even the frontier now....

Thanks. It is a sharp ride. Canyon AT4X or the Tacoma for me. GM quality scares me.

Yep, the Trd OR is the best bang for the buck Tacoma.

Sharp truck no doubt but Id take the new Ford Ranger Raptor over any of them all day long. Just more bang for your hard earned buck over Toyota and with better off road funtions then the Taco. Such as a Locking diff that can be used in 2H 4H and 4L.

Check the door- I bet it’s closer to 1200lbs payload not 1700, Tacoma week point, along with the back seat

So the TRD Off-Road is in fact lifted compated to the lower trims like SR5? If so, how much of a lift is it?
Also, You said this is the next to the top of all trims, just below the limited... did you forget the TRD PRO and the Trailhunter???

Hey Ben do you know when you'll drive hybrid tacoma?

I’ll say this. Yes. Canyon and Colorado are nicer inside. BUT I’ve had the nicer interior vehicles with better tech. IF you are spending your hard earned money and are buying a new vehicle to last and not fail. Basic is better. Tech WILL fail with any brand. Leather seats WILL tear with time. In my opinion if I was buying a NEW vehicle with money I work hard for. I will buy basic and buy Toyota. I’m not trying to buy a house. I’m trying to buy a vehicle that will last and in 10 years that vehicle will be the same and not battered and torn with “luxury” features. Especially if you use a truck AS A TRUCK
