Ozzy didn't write any of the Sabbath lyrics, it was Geezer Butler. Not sure he wrote very much of the material on his solo albums either. Good entertainer though.
Whoever wrote the lyrics, I'm more curious about the slander/libel that took place in the media about Black Sabbath and similar bands being satanic in attempts to discredit the truths they were singing about.
@74 torino Ozzy is plenty human I reckon. Fame, fortune, and the bright lights don't always bring out the best in a person. I've enjoyed listening to both Ronnie James and Ozzy over the years. I actually found myself seated in a booth next to Ozzy in a Mexican resturaunt back in the mid 80s. He was drunk as a skunk of course, but we had a decent conversation until his body guards showed up.

I did not know Bob was an Aussie, or about his earlier work. Thank you for the link, I'll be sure to have a listen.
Steve Blandford Ozzy didn’t write either of those. Geezer wrote almost all of Sabbath’s lyrics.
Loved how he pointed to the words "Lets go", just as they are said in the song.
Puddles, I have tears running down my cheeks. Randy is digging your version up in heaven. 🥰🥰😎😎
I saw this guy at a concert a few years back , he's actually a fantastic artist
Yeah cool my firdt6 hearing him.i like it I usually like harder version of Covers but this duo is legitimate
He was never on my radar until this video popped up on my feed. What a talent! Wow!
I saw him 2 years ago. He really is a fantastic artist. I hope to see him again soon.
That was understood after the video. An excellent Artist indeed.
Loved every song I have heard by this man, and his theatrical deliveries make them all his own. Not just covers by any means
Brilliant rendition of this classic. Excellent acoustic guitar. Great touch with the train in the background.
Close my eyes and imagine PPP without the makeup and costume, to be transported by his voice, and all his amazing selections of songs to sing. Sublime
He has a beautiful singing voice and insanely talented in his unique form of art.
I am floored. That was one of The BEST covers of this song I have ever heard. Subscribed and bell clicked. Thanks for this great cover.
Yes. I love the original of this song, and this cover is so very awesome. Can we please take a moment to appreciate the guitar player? And yes, I'm now a subscriber to this channel.
Y’all are kidding, right?
Dido.
This cover is quite ethereal.
Cool ending!
As a 54 year old metal head I only have one word to decribe this video, "EXCELLENT". I can't stop watching this, your facial expression when you point at the LETS GO sign is simply awesome, Ozzy would be proud! I wonder how many people even get it? Thank you for all your content and the fantastic entertainment. A rare gem on the "RUclipss". Please keep them coming.
Your voice, your expressions, are truly amazing.
This is the epitome of the P3 stylee that made me fall in love. Brilliant.
"I know you think there's something wrong with me." No dude, you're just fine. We live in a world full of clowns without makeup. Thanks Puddles.
so much truth in this comment
Yup your 100% correct and one name comes to mind...... *BIDEN*
@@-MightyMouse- I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything.
@@-MightyMouse- I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I, and many of them are on the younger side.
I thought this was AWESOME. It's great when someone can take a classic and put their own spin on it.....and do it GREAT!
I love when you cover Ozzie, I can finally understand the words. You do it your way which is GREAT! I think you could make any song sound wonderful, while doing it your way.
I can’t stop hitting replay on this video. Puddles your voice is absolutely incredible.
As a die hard Ozzy fan this definitely rocks. Excellent cover.
Like everyone else, Ive heard this song a million times. Never, have the words seemed so powerful. Really missing Oz. Especially with his recent health issues.
@orionh3000 no. He was just sick. Sick enuff to cancel an entire tour and some additional shows. I heard last week he is doing better and I just seen some shows posted here in the states. So he must have recovered, well enuff.
I've read that he's preparing a new album for the next year!
Just released his first song in nearly a decade "under the grave" I believe
Such a powerful, captivating voice with amazingly clear enunciation.
If I never would have watched, simply because there was nothing else on, the night you were on AGT... I might never have been able to witness this amazing voice that has this ability to sing ANY SONG in front of him...
Fate man, it can shock us sometimes. I'm glad you can make me smile when you sing. I wish the feeling could be returned my friend
"The media sells it and you live the role"
Ozzy came up with some very insightful lyrics going all the way back to the earliest days of Black Sabbath.
Ozzy didn't write any of the Sabbath lyrics, it was Geezer Butler. Not sure he wrote very much of the material on his solo albums either. Good entertainer though.
Media was lying back then as it is now
Bob Daisley wrote most of Ozzy's lyrics. The best of Ozzy Osbourne was Kerslake, Daisley, and Rhoads.
There's something about this that made me appreciate Ozzy even more
Puddles has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve heard
KILLER medley with "Message in a Bottle". So well done.
This should be 2020's theme song. With Puddles singing it just like this.
Agreed.... Oh yeah.
Most definitely. I love Puddles and normally clowns scare me.
It was. We just didn't know it.

Haha yes
Right on brother so true
Am the only one who thought Ozzie might come in and hug Puddles at the end?...
That's what I was expecting.
It would have been cool if ozzy just walked in with a bottle with a note in it and pointed at him with an inquisitive expression then gave him a big goofy flower that squirted water in his face, then gave the famous look at the camera" after all" he is the prince of darkness!
So... ??? why does it say something about Ozzy at the end.? just to get viewers.? What a bunch of Crap ..!
@@crashvidz because ozzy is the artist of the song myfriend" you may notice that most all videos of someone singing someone else's song is titled the same way, I'm think what may be confusing is that it saying surprise ending after ozzy" I dont know what the suprising ending was? I dont know puddles that well, maybe it was the reaching out and consoling the guitar player? I know this cant take back what you feel your out by clicking or get back what you think puddles got from your watching video, You know you could just search ozzy videos and he would be in the hole thing instead of going off the rails because he didn't make a cameo at the end of one 🤘
He might say: "I'm your student".
