BRAVO PUDDLES, BRAVO! I really started tearing up on that one. One of the most profound songs ever written. It's sad that ever since that song was written not a day has gone by when it was not pertinent because of some war somewhere in the world.
I don't care about the name, the act, the makeup. What I care about is how amazing you are, you find a way to take classic songs and make it your own but also make it more articulate so we the audience know the lyrics, bravo! You are truly a class act and kudos to the producer for bringing it out. That's not to say you need it I know for good fact you can nail the performance live too! Once again thank you Puddles!
This man has some serious talent. Can’t figure out for the life of me why is not more famous than what he is. I don’t care if he only covers songs because he gives them all a whole new sound, and makes each his own.
@@audreymuzingo933 Actually, numerous big-name artists do cover versions all the time. It all comes down to how it is presented. Whitney Houston as an example never wrote any of her hits and one of her biggest hits ever "I will always love you" is a cover of a song written and originally performed by Dolly Parton. As a second example, Adele did the song "Hiding my Heart Away" which is a cover of a song originally on a Brandi Carlile album but written by a different individual. Adele and Whitney were already megastars and got away with not mentioning who did the original song while lesser-known artists will get attacked for it (or not having the money to fix the problem).
@@Music4MyBrain Of course, but that's not what I meant. I was talking about any famous artists who do ONLY covers. I thought that was obvious, as I mentioned Weird Al. The OP can't understand why this Puddles isn't more famous. I'm asserting that no matter how good a cover act is, they're not going to get famous if they don't write any of their own songs. And even Weird Al doesn't cover songs 'straight'; he changes the lyrics to make the songs humorous.
@@audreymuzingo933 To be fair, Weird Al does parodies more than covers. Off the top of my head I can think of only one relatively known band specializing in covers, and that is Novelle Vague. However there's a few cover songs that have become way more well known than the original, like Soft Cell's version of Gloria Jones's Tainted Love, Gary Jules's cover of Tear for Fear's Mad World, or Johhny Cage's cover of NIN's Hurt.
@@audreymuzingo933 Everyone who doesn't write their own music does covers which is the giant majority of singers/bands. And numerous of them have become rich and famous without writing any songs. The difference is the money. Some of them do get their own songs when a music company is behind them but their music still wasn't written by them in this case either (winners of x-factor, the voice, etc. as an example) Puddles is as talented or more talented than the giant majority of them.
You have a way of taking a song and presenting it in a different light, leaving the meaning intact while making it easier to interpret. You are a gifted fellow. Thank you

Crivvins, Crikey and Help ma boab!!! This version is bloody awesome! I need to learn this on piano
Wow. Moving performance. Vocals are nicely recorded and produced. Thanks for taking the time and effort of sharing your gifts, as always!
Hey Puddles...that's exactly what I need right now. a new cover song from you.
today was the funeral of my favorite uncle. he passed away on september 6th and it is very difficult for me that he is gone now.
Listening to your wonderful cover of war pigs is the best thing about tonight.
keep it up and give us many more songs like this.
we... your fans... love you 💗
Anyone can cover a song. Not everyone can change it to make it their own. Well done.
Well put.
.
I agree. This is in the same ballpark as "Hurt" by Cash. I will never be able to listen to the original now without hearing this in my mind as well.
Oh, woah... You're right.
This puts Puddles sort of on the same level as Johnny Cash when it comes to covers.
Everytime I hear you sing it gives me goosebumps. Watching you play the piano and sing this song was particularly wonderful. If you did a Ween song, I would just melt into a puddle.
So incredibly haunting, especially that outro, jeeze. Great job on those keys
What a beautiful, and yet, so dark rendition of this song! Absolutely amazing job, Puddles! Can’t wait to hear more.
Killer! I love this interpretation.
Holy crap, this is good ... F*ck anyone who says they couldn't write great tunes.👍
Greetings Mashup Master! Puddles is amazing 🤘🏼
The mashup master has spoken
OH LAWN CHAIR!
Thanks Bill!!!
I could watch this forever.
I’ve listened to this song countless times in my misguided youth. But, like re-reading the Bible, every time different meanings are exposed to our consciousness. This rendition has done this for me and it makes me sad that we’re stuck following these unworthy “War Pigs” leaders.
I hope all is good with Puddles and am thankful for him sharing his incredible talent. Thank you again for putting yourself out there for scrutiny to bring your message to me and others.
I agree wholeheartedly! Thank you for putting into words what I’m thinking & feeling as well.
My cousins introduced me to this song in '69, after they were drafted and came home right before being shipped out to Viet Nam....and....years later when I joined the Navy I often came back to this song and others wondering.... This cover? Far more impactful than any other I've heard.
exactly.. I said the same thing ! Nice piece of work ! same here USN. QM2 USS Elrod FFG-55, plankowner!
I was thinking about Biden and the rest of the warmongers out there.Thanks.
@@lonew2657 biden ? Come on. 20 years in afghanstan under daddy bush and W ? Biden finally had the nads to withdraw us from that shit. After 2500 deaths. Wtf you talking about ?
@Lone. FU Maga Trash.
How the song wasn't released till '70..
Never did I think anyone could top Black Sabbath as I’ve seen other’s do covers and did not compare. I bow to you Mr Puddles! This equals and almost outdoes Black Sabbath. You, Sir, are amazing! I’ve loved you from the first performance and you continue to amaze! ❤❤❤
You should check out Faith No Mores cover of War Pigs.
I agree this is excellent. I thought The Main Squeeze owned covers of this song, but this guy is in the running for best cover.
This is perfect.
This is an amazing transformation to this one. almost gives me a Raven That Refused To Sing vibe at times just with this perfect bittersweetness. PUDDLES IS BACK BOIIIIIIZ
Back from where? He never left. 🤷♀️
Some times you don't realize how good a song actually is until you change the genre.
You didn't get it until hearing this version?
Music is awesome
Totally agree chuck. I am much more effected by this rendition. To the bone
Both versions are excellent. Even if you don't like a genre, you should still be able to recognize when a song is actually good.
actual clown comment you made there
My awe of Ozzy's penmanship, the message, the poetry, the power - I never understood the degree at which this song rested in the lyrical rock songs of the greats...and now that I can understand the words - ohh...my...lanta....
I've already replied to this, but I keep coming back to this song, and I am still so thankful that Puddles and crew covered this song - and TOTALLY made it into another creation!
The credit goes to Geezer Butler not Ozzy.
geezer wrote some of the lyrics we know and love too.
Geezer wrote most the lyrics. Ozzy was.........well..he was Ozzy!
The original lyrics (Butler) were extremely Satanic. Warpurgis was the original song, same beat and notes just different lyrics. There are RUclips videos of Sabbath singing the other version if you look for it
I have two loves, Faith no more egos cover of this song had me captivated, of course black sabbath, Ozzy, specifically. Now I find this and I think I have another love. Love this so much. Thank you Puddles. You are a absolute musical genius
Wow! Thanks mate!!!
BRAVO PUDDLES, BRAVO! I really started tearing up on that one. One of the most profound songs ever written. It's sad that ever since that song was written not a day has gone by when it was not pertinent because of some war somewhere in the world.
Absolutely.
Such An Absolutely Amazing Voice. Great Song Puddles. You Always Amaze Your Fans 💞
I have been a Sabbath Fan since their first album . You have done a GREAT job, Puddles!!! Brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant!

Beautiful composition ❤️🔥
This man has some serious talent. Can’t figure out for the life of me why is not more famous than what he is. I don’t care if he only covers songs because he gives them all a whole new sound, and makes each his own.
Other than Weird Al, can you name anyone famous for cover work?
@@audreymuzingo933
Actually, numerous big-name artists do cover versions all the time.
Some of them do get their own songs when a music company is behind them but their music still wasn't written by them in this case either (winners of x-factor, the voice, etc. as an example)
Puddles is as talented or more talented than the giant majority of them.
Best rendition of War Pig's I've heard,and I'm a huge Black Sabbath/Ozzy fan!!Bravo Puddles!!
After all these years, this song rings true more than ever. Great job puddles
Probably the most timeless song ever. It will be relevant from the dawn of man til the very end. Amazing cover!
You have a way of taking a song and presenting it in a different light, leaving the meaning intact while making it easier to interpret. You are a gifted fellow.
Thank you
Puddles is an artist that makes me sad in that I can only experience once the first time I heard him, wonderful to hear him again ❤
What a powerful rendition of a classic song.
One that's just as relevant now, as when Black Sabbath did it.
Puddles brings the heat with this one.
Wow...I'm blown away! This is a masterpiece & really gives the feels! Thanks for always giving us a new twist on great music 😊
As always, everything Puddles covers, turns into 24k gold. Love this piano arrangement.
Thanks to Puddles, I can actually hear and understand the poetry behind these songs. 👍
I will admit to some trepidation upon seeing the cover song... there are some things that are best as they are.... but this.... THIS is a worthy cover! The brooding bombastic power was there, the howling lament was spot on, the whole arrangement fit well together and truly paid tribute with a unique twist to a timeless song... I thoroughly enjoyed it and this will be playing through my head for days! Congratulations on a fantastic and poignant performance!! Glad to hear your wonderful voice again!
This was should be covered far and beyond, as others have amazingly and respectfully covered.
Agree, I LOVE Puddles, but this song is almost sacrosanct in the annals of rock and I admit I cringed...Until I watched it, of course, Puddles again brings a masterful interpretation to a beloved song that is its equal in many ways and exceeds it in others.
"Leed us to the circus and give us all bread so as to silence the whispering of a rebellion". I now know without a doubt, I will like to pass away peacefully in my sleep, like my grandmother, and not like the terrifying screaming of her passengers.

Wow, talk about capturing the true sadness of this song. You have done such an amazing job of showing the relevance of this song to the way things are today. A totally different way of the use of instrumentation without losing any of the song's power and message. You have brought across the very scary way the powers that run this planet are are screwing us all. God Bless
I do a lot of research and sourcing for a group of war journalists and as a result I am neck deep in the human tragedy in Ukraine right now. This was just absolutely so far beyond powerful for me. I'm a huge Sabbath fan as is and this cover really drives home the message of this song. I can't really say much more than that. It moved me deeply, to tears, especially your face at the end. The embodiment of stepping back, looking at humanity from the outside and wondering what the hell we are doing.
After doing the research, I stand AGAINST Ukraine's government. I stand with the people of Ukraine AND Russia. I'm deeply saddened by their suffering at the hands of the globalist war machine.
F the war pigs.
Your reaction is priceless. Thank you for sharing, and stay safe out there. What you're doing matters.
I am appalled at the elites.

The best version of this song - ever ! - Your emotion while singing these words paints a better message then the original - Brilliant ! made me tear up. - Cheers
Puddles…. Your “satan laughing as he spreads his wings” as you look deadpan into the camera is haunting. Well done.
"Military leaders and politicians are the real satanic forces." - Geezer Butler.
Best interpretation of this iconic song I’ve ever heard.
I actually heard the lyrics and they are sooo true. Just look at what’s happening in the world today. Bravo!
I never imagined that this amazing song could resurface in an entirely different and perfectly haunting way. Bravo.
This is breath taking, been a Sabbath boy all my days, and this has to be one of thee best versions of War Pigs I've ever heard, magnificent.
Love the way that piano roars! Great performance, great production! Thank you Puddles!!
My life is now complete. My favorite vocalist is a clown !!! This is the first Puddles song I’ve heard. Have since subscribed and checked out many more. Kudos to the clown and other musicians laying down this exceptional cover. It’s a new version. I love it. Beautifully re-created. Thank you so much !!!!
It really is far out, I have been a Puddles fan for a few years and I never would have thunk I'd love listening to a clown do cover songs. Now, I have to say this song War Pigs is quite possibly my favorite rock tune ever, and wow...this version is amazing...he made it his own while still keeping true to, perhaps even enhancing, the dark terror tone of the original Black Sabbath song. I had chills listening to this!!
He’s amazing. Been listening to him for years
His success is a testament to how amazing the internet is and how big the world is. I'm glad there is room in it for people like Puddles.
Mr. Puddles it is great to see you again and it’s wonderful to hear your voice and I do hope that Ozzy Osbourne and the members of Black Sabbath see this video I do believe they would be honored of you doing one of their selections I really like your arrangement of war pigs I hope to see more of your videos I’m glad I’m subscribed also it would be interesting if you did some Metallica I would love to see something like that thank you again for Your wonderful entertainment you truly are talented and gifted musician
Really, Really amazing version....
For a song thats been with me for 40+ years, this was an absolute amazing cover. The piano is beautiful, and you have an astonishing voice. TY for this!
Holy frickin crap!! One of my all time favorite songs. I never could have imagined that I would hear it this way but I loved it. Good God man please keep doing what you're doing! I truly enjoy your talent and thank you.
I love the way your art brings out nuances and meanings in something I've heard for decades. A brand-new experience.
My theory is the songs play Puddles, he is the instrument of the music. That's why it is
so perfect. This is how the music wants to be heard. Loving the experience.
Man....this version takes you even deeper than the original. Makes you feel like you're living the lyrics rather than just listening to them. I think you've reached the next level Puddles.
Outstanding Version This needs to be heard around the globe right now before it's too late!
Biden needs to hear it

Puddles has a way of making one actually hear and pay attention to the lyrics. This is a really beautifully done cover. The piano music is hauntingly beautiful and lends itself perfectly to this rendition.
Puddles, you knocked that song right outta the atmosphere!!!❤
