Holy fucking fuck, I don’t think I can think of a better cover than this. What I love is the small, original add ons in this song. The fills, the vocals are so unique but fit the song so perfect, the distortion, all of it. Fucking badass as fuck 🤘🏽

Not only that, bassist is a lefty, i was keep thinking why the bottom bass string keeps on hitting in open E yet no treble sound, then i figured out, he was holding it as a lefty. now that's gnarly!

I bet it was awesome to be able to write music of this length back then and people actually had the attention span and appreciation to listen to the whole song. The good ol' days of music I guess?
Jeremy Sutherland Amen. As someone born far later than this song was initially released, I've found myself almost ignoring songs that are 6+ minutes. Thankfully, I've broken myself of that habit and have stumbled upon some amazing music as a result.
The same goes for songs like bohemian rhapsody. Radio didn't want to play it because of the length of the song. But once they did they got more requests for it than stations could handle.
I hate short songs. I LOVE these long tracks that tell a story or convey great messages like this.

Bill Ward is far from easy to cover. Precisely done here. Geezers vibrations are well depicted here too. Glad someone turned me on to this. I’m old and this song has returned to the fore of my listening lately. Impressive. Glad there’s no attempt to reproduce Ozzy here but the song done in his own voice. Time well spent listening to this.
