I agree! I've found out this amazing video only yesterday while I was washing my car...then I thought "what?! This sounds great!!" and went to see it. Since then I've watched it over and over again. All musicians are damn good! Congrats from Brazil.
Holy fucking fuck, I don’t think I can think of a better cover than this. What I love is the small, original add ons in this song. The fills, the vocals are so unique but fit the song so perfect, the distortion, all of it. Fucking badass as fuck 🤘🏽
Not only that, bassist is a lefty, i was keep thinking why the bottom bass string keeps on hitting in open E yet no treble sound, then i figured out, he was holding it as a lefty. now that's gnarly!
@@bangamullet He's a left-handed player and his bass is strung for a right-hander. I imagine he started playing by borrowing other players' instruments.
@@pyrosquid3653 I know, i was wondering why the bassist keeping hitting the open E, yet no treble, i figured midway of the song, the bass guitar is tuned for a right hander and the guy playing is a lefty. he should have strange shape arppegios haha.
"Leed us to the circus and give us all bread so as to silence the whispering of a rebellion". I now know without a doubt, I will like to pass away peacefully in my sleep, like my grandmother, and not like the terrifying screaming of her passengers.
Bill Ward is far from easy to cover. Precisely done here. Geezers vibrations are well depicted here too. Glad someone turned me on to this. I’m old and this song has returned to the fore of my listening lately. Impressive. Glad there’s no attempt to reproduce Ozzy here but the song done in his own voice. Time well spent listening to this.
Absolutely hands down the best version of War Pigs I have ever heard. If these guys aren't signed to a major label and making millions, it's a f*cking travesty!
I'm blown away, I have read through the comments and how tf has no one pointed out the bass player is in god mode with the bass strung upside down, OMG!
I bet it was awesome to be able to write music of this length back then and people actually had the attention span and appreciation to listen to the whole song. The good ol' days of music I guess?
Jeremy Sutherland Amen. As someone born far later than this song was initially released, I've found myself almost ignoring songs that are 6+ minutes. Thankfully, I've broken myself of that habit and have stumbled upon some amazing music as a result.
The same goes for songs like bohemian rhapsody. Radio didn't want to play it because of the length of the song. But once they did they got more requests for it than stations could handle.
Drummer wearing an I mother earth shirt! I thought everyone had forgotten that band! Saw them a couple times and listened to album a million times in 97.
The little switch ups, like with the clean guitar arpeggios towards the end and the mix on the bass, make this cover its own. And the vocalist has a satisfying gruffness to his voice as he comes out of the higher pitches. Amazing stuff! You actually did a better job of covering this than Faith No More, and I was already a fan of that one!
Yeah, I'm a big Mike Patton Fan. His vocals were fantastic with I'm just a man & so many others, but his cover of War Pigs was not too good. I think he could've done better.
Oh, and major props to the vocalist. Probably the most original version of this song I've heard. Dude has some serious pipes and layered in a nice, subtle growl in there too. I felt it brother.
I can't wait till Ronin n Bella hear this over breakfast in 4 hours. great job guys. We went to final Sabbath tour together in Vancouver last year. best day of my life..other than when they were born. both hockey goalies like mom n dad and guitar, piano, drum players. Thanks. Wonderfully done.
Got directed to this video by Nerd Gone South. HOLY SHIT. This is one of the best covers I have ever watched, and I have watched a load. Well done guys, I will be checking out any other stuff you have.
Just jumped on this video and Lo and Behold!!! The Drummer has an I Mother Earth shirt on!! Love that band ever since I heard "Rain" and it was on my wish list for the last 30 years to see them live but never got the chance.
Hands down, my face just melted! You guys were tight af, and not to mention the vocalist was incredible - I even liked his rougher vocals a lot better than Ozzy's nasal delivery. Fantastic job guys!
Good to see you back man. Love your music. Originals and covers. Much love from Alabama brother. Also that upside down, left handed bass player is fucking crazy!! LOL
Still gives me shiver and my whole body tingles just like listening to the original one of the few pieces that make me so inspired love the playing the mix and the conviction in your voice holy fuck sabbath is proud
can't believe this song is almost 50 years old, it sounds so fresh!
Times havnt changed, globalists still playing the world. We are waking up.
Dick Manly WE ARE BREAKING THE CONDITIONING
The victory of the allied nations caused this conditioning you speak of.
Because one man saw through it and knew what was happening
WE ARE AWAKE
That bassist is on point. Talent in this whole lineup.
Unfortunately still relevant in 2022. Great version.
Consider my face melted.
Damn it - 6 Yrs ago ?
I feel cheated, that I've never seen this.
This is by far my favorite War Pigs cover. Period. Love your vocals Sterling. The Suns of Static are pretty good as well.
Thanks Dave 😊

Yep So true 🔥

AGREE!
You guys shoud NOT check out Rival Sons - War pigs cover at the grammys then🤯
Well said
dude I love how the bass sits in the mix, Sounds so good
Thinking the same thing. Ripping tone!
Yeah same! Finally a band that gives the bass a lot of space!
Not only that, bassist is a lefty, i was keep thinking why the bottom bass string keeps on hitting in open E yet no treble sound, then i figured out, he was holding it as a lefty. now that's gnarly!
Hands down one of the best covers ive heard. The goosebumps were crazy.
Love it when a bass player takes his craft seriously and isn't just trying to fatten the sound for other musicians! 😎
And this man has his bass strung upside down! Never seen that before.
@@bangamullet He's a left-handed player and his bass is strung for a right-hander. I imagine he started playing by borrowing other players' instruments.

Singer sounds awesome!
All his videos are on point 👌
As a huge Sabbath fan, I loved it. Still just as relevant today.
😊

One of those songs you only cover if you’re gonna nail the hell out of it.
And done.
WTF. Damn. Gotta be one of the best covers I've heard in my 62 yrs on the planet.
Absolutely hands down the best version of War Pigs I have ever heard. If these guys aren't signed to a major label and making millions, it's a f*cking travesty!
I absolutely love the bass in the intro
Kudos to whoever mixed this. Bass sits well, gnarly tone.
This made my beard grow.
Awesome cover
I came here from the future to say that this cover still ROCKS! As well as the rest of Sterling's channel.
I was a kid when first heard this song, and 50 years later l still love it. A rare breed of songs. 🙌
The only reason I don't give this a million likes is because youtube will only let me give it one. Best War Pigs cover EVER!!!!!!!
Ozzy would b proud well done one of the best covers I've heard
Wow...a left-handed Bill Ward and a left-handed Geezer Butler. NICE!!! (I'm a lefty too).
Left handed bassist playing a left hand bass but strung like a righty!!
Ravi's healing voice strikes again...
Oh, sweet Mother of all heavy, root of all metal. you guys rock! I salute you.
This song will never ever get old. Great cover guys!
I only listen to this when I need to cry tears of joy. This is so fucking amazing.
One of the best Sabbath covers I've heard.

I hate short songs. I LOVE these long tracks that tell a story or convey great messages like this.
Jeremy Sutherland or be able to listen to an entire album from front to back! Remember those days?
I think about that all the time dude...its sad. People these says have the attention span of a walnut.
Drummer wearing an I mother earth shirt! I thought everyone had forgotten that band! Saw them a couple times and listened to album a million times in 97.
That guy pulls off a roll to clear a high hat smack. You can see in his face he knew he nailed it.
!!!!!

No one can cover War Pigs without the proper balance of love and anger and reverence and skill. Great job!!!
You were us 30 years ago. Love it. Rock on bros
Bro........bro. Smh no way !!! Absolutely perfect!!!
An advert popping up just before the vocals start is diabolical.
Cover is lit though

Powerful, damnit man. As a combat vet of Afghanistan 2010 ^ Iraq 2007 ; believe me when I say only the dead have seen the end of war.
Never seen sbdy play a Bass that way: left handed model, hanging left, but stringed high-to-low! Badass, and awesome sound!
I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed this ! Your a boss at what you do, and obviously, in line with source energy.
Damn good cover! The intensity of the song really comes through.
Just jumped on this video and Lo and Behold!!! The Drummer has an I Mother Earth shirt on!! Love that band ever since I heard "Rain" and it was on my wish list for the last 30 years to see them live but never got the chance.
Been a sabbath fan since junior high in 1975, and You Crushed War Pigs... absolutely primal!
