I'm a huge fan of the original CTR, and I really wanted to play this game earlier, but I couldn't (mostly because it wasn't released on PC).

I'd love it if you made a series where you try to beat your best times for each track. The WumpaLewis time trials is a series I would love to watch.

See whenever watching these dev time videos i just feel like the actual fastest time for every track was set by william p but the devs didnt want to pain everyone by having to beat him on every track
Honestly, i wouldnt be surprised if william was indeed the best player from the devs.
I mean, heck! They forced him to make a mistake on turbo track lap 3, JUST to make it fair, otherwise, people would have to deal with 1:31:xx which is hard to sub. Let alone sub 1:30...
Hence why they got him to do at the very least, the hardest tracks in the game, plus some other ones no one expected. Crash cove.
If CTR NF also came for PC, I think the controls would've been similar to Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
My ideas:
• Shift: Gas.
• Down arrow: Brake.
• S: Reverse.
• Left & Right arrows: Steering.
• Up arrow/Spacebar: Hop/Power slide.
• W: Use item/Trow forward.
• E: Use item/Trow backwards.
• Q: Rear view.
• A: Change camera angle.
• D: Toggle boost bar (Classic, Speedometer and Nitro-Fueled).
• Esc/Enter: Pause.

Wished the Online Functionality was top tier because it can give MK8 actual competition in the Kart Race Genre alongside having a lot of track content Day one compared to now getting Booster Course Passes
I remember being addicted to watching you power through these time trials. I really wouldn't mind if you actually submitted the whole ordeal and not just snippits. I'd watch the whole thing. Every attempt in full
Not doing Ring Rally when it was getting updated and then coming back to do those years later was really fun. Got to go back to the tracks and they feel so different when you get blue flame on a track you never had it on before. Makes Tiny Arena perfect

CTR really should of had the longevity that online games like GTA5 has had over the last decade. Online Grand Prix’s that continued past the first one. More tracks being created. New characters revealed along the way. I know there’s only so much that can be done with an online game but it’s sad how fast this game kind of fell to the sidelines once the devs stopped any updates.
Glad to see a short return back to CTR:NR. It has been ages since I last played this game myself. I don't recommend you revisit Dragon Mines Dev Trials for your own sanity, but that's up to you! 😅

I came back to it recently for fun and even with rusty hands, i did it first try.
Dragon mines was the first track i picked tho when rust was visible in my gameplay. Took me 15 attempts.
@@deoxysandmew2162slide Coliseum is considered hard because of the tire/tyre jumps that are needed. Once u can do them the developer time isn't so hard

@@deoxysandmew2162 because if the timing is off the jump isn't high enough. Also jumping through them can lose fire
I never beaten the trials but I love seeing the videos that you did it was always a good time and a good laugh it's nice to see the Dev trails being done again
"New high score" just mean you're in the leaderbord
A great show of the progress youve made is I remember in the orginal series, you kept clipping the pillars over and over on oxide and I didnt see you do it once this video.

you should host CTR NF open lobbys with your subscribers since you have it all platforms. like no items. would give us all a reason to come back to this game. just keep the idea in mind because i know i would show for that.

CTR is a game that no matter the time it's always a blast to come back into and play. Such a fun game.
If you want an incentive to play ctr again you could do a playthrough of adventure mode and try and get 101%

At 4:39, you said "...how far WE'VE come." not "...how far I'VE come." You genuinely care about your fanbase. You like to think of us all following you as a leader and not an icon. Mr. Lewis, you are a gem. I will say that that small sentence you said had such a huge impact on me, you ARE my favorite RUclips gamer. Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, FusionGamer, etc are bunch of my favs, but none of them has ever let something like that slip. They will say words like "we" and "us" but all of that is planned; yours wasn't. I thank you for your videos, and I will continue to support your channel, good sir :)

Great vid, I still play online from time to time but it's super frustrating when your in still in a lobby and just when you think your in a good lobby, the race never actually starts. Someone said that it has something to do with PS5 and Series X (basically next gen consoles) players that have 'skip intro cutscenes' on. I don't know how true that is but I'm not ruling it out. Activision please fix CTRNF there's no reason online should be this bad.
Well Atleast They do It with crash Team Rumble so wouldn't been Good to not leave crash team racing to be A dead online over how it getting weaken.

I find it interesting people want a reason to return to CTR NF. I am of the strong opinion that CTR NF already did what it wanted to do perfectly and is now a game you can return to at any time with the content it has. It isn't perfect, sure, and it always could be more. Albeit personally speaking, I got roughly 350 hours of playtime on my Switch. That is insanely good value for the price, and I am more than happy that I got my moneys worth that I've spent on this game.
I did everything what the game had to offer, and simply moved on to the next game. Not every title needs to be a live service model, and CTR NF in my opinion never needed it outside the grand pix seasonal events we got.

This is one of those games that even tho i tried to get the platinum trophy for i could never become this good at it and i have done some tough platinums like Dead space 2 Metal gear 2 and almost every Resident Evil games in the end was just not meant to be
You should do a video about Crash Bandicoot : Back in Time !! There is a Crash level maker, it's incredible
on the 3rd shortcut on blizzard bluff to not go slow over it you have to hit the little snow bump to the left
i still cant but then again it never gave me a reason to. i like the beenox tires more than the dev time trial tires and beating oxide is all you need to get 100%.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I went back to get the platinum recently, and it feels like it runs worse on PS5 than it did PS4. Maybe I just got used to it, but it doesn't even feel like 30fps for me, it's odd
