You can kill the final phase of any gleeok easily from the ground, as long as you fuse some type of wing to your arrow to make the range long enough. The rest of the phases can easily be beaten with eyes instead of wings too
With labyrinths, if you use glide suit you actually maintain your height, and can glide around the air insanely fast. Edit: i checked, you can actually gain height by diving a little then bouncing back up the updraft
You maintain your height even without a glide suit, but there would be no easy way to regain height after landing anywhere. Maybe bring a lot of springs/rockets?
Got my hands on TotK late but am doing gliderless run as joke to my friend. Can confirm it is really easy to do Labyrinth. Bomb shield works like a charm, but even that is optional.
Getting around is so much more interesting without the glider, almost seems intended with how it forces you to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.

That aside makes me wonder if you'd be able to win the game 'immediately' if you also used that exploit that gets you an indestructible master sword (on an unpatched game).
both breath of the wild and this game are genuinely more fun when you're limited its the reason why in the first game the great plateay is the most fun area in the game and in this game by the end you have a million different ways to get to places it gets pretty boring

you could just kill all the gleeok heads while they are flying up for the final attack, way easier with a multishot bow and some eyeballs

You can fuse a wing to a shield to give yourself higher shield jumps, which could help in clearing big gaps.

If your standing on something you dont need to freeze it just as ling as you're standing on it when it hits the ground you wont take damage
