I have bought the DGX660 through this video too! And I have found the main style of this melody! It's 066 number voice, called "Live Alegro". Try it, its amazing!
You are sick, man! Could listen to this all day long. So relaxing and awesome touch. Finally a keyboard that most people can afford. And you did it justice. Thanks so much for taking the time for share this. So much appreciated!
I've been listening this track and trying to playing on my own KB but it's so complicated for me to play without notes. If you have sheet notes, I'd like to have one in pdf file. Hoping to share one. Thank you.
The music is eternal and I'm late to congratulate you and for the question..lol: Did you mix the '064 Live Strings' voice with the '66 live Alegro' voice without effects and with the same equalization?
Hi Nikos, great production and I would love to try to reproduce it! It has such a FULL sound, did you record a layer to the memory stick then played along with similar harmony to it? I would LOVE to know how you did it!! Thanks!! And I just received my DGX 660!!!
Love this! Yamaha should hire you to compose their demos. This video is one of the main things that pushed me over, and I have a DGX660 due in next week. I would love to learn to play this on it, and I've been sitting here watching your hands and fingers over and over and trying to write down the notes. I understand you don't have a written score, but is there any chance you could record a midi file of this?
Thank you very much! I appreciate your kind words. It would be too much work to play this again and make a midi file. And I know the video is lagging and doesn't help you to see my fingers clearly. However, if I do it I will contact you. Thanks again!
Thanks. The sound is recorded directly via USB flash memory. You can see it on the top of the screen (a blue one). Then I put the image and the sound together in Windows Movie Maker.
This is a VERY nice keyboard in this price range. I would consider one, but for one issue. I cannot for the life of me figure why Yamaha, of all companies ,would put a pitch bend wheel on ANY board without the mod wheel. It just makes NO sense to me whatsoever. I have played all types of boards for MANY years includeing keyboards, synths, piano and hammond organs. 80 percent of the time I use a pitch bend, I use the mod wheel with it for vibrato (and other uses). I realize this is not a synth, but if you add the pitch bend wheel of a synth, why stop short of having it really useable? Seriously seems crazy to me. I had one of the dgx series (one of the high end models) and as much as I love the sounds, I sold it due to not haveing the mod wheel or midi out (yes it has a usb, but does not function the same). Personally, I would have just left the pitch bend off rather than make it half completed. The sound however is REALLY great, so for those who have no need of a pitch/mod wheel combo, this is a wonderful board.
This is so beautiful! I have a question about this piano though, is it easy to do multi-layer recording on this piano? (I would love to be able to make cool soundtracks using this!)
Thank you very much! Yes, it's very easy for up to 5 instruments. But it's not good for creating loops (eg hip hop loops). You can read how to do it in the user's manual online. I recommend you read it before you consider buying it.
Great performance Nikos. I love the LOT movies and the music is tremendous. I will definately try to make a compilation myself but I doubt it will be as good as yours. Thank you for sharing the voice number with us. Have you applied any other settings like harmony or dual voice? I've just purchased my DGX660 last week and I think it's great but since I am used to a traditional piano I have to work on making full use of all the keyboard possibilities. Once again. Great music and Thanks.
For the Low Price, buy the Powerdirector! It's worth to own this great application.. I had all versions from 10, 12, 14, 16 and it's great editor. I also love me Yammy DGX-660! It was great upgrade...
I really like this DGX 660 and you sure made a great use of LOTR on this piano! :-D By the way - I was wondering if DGX 660 has the same or at least similiar string sound just like on this video - ruclips.net/video/dARvqaSHx1A/видео.html They are both yamaha but I'm still not sure, so I'm here to ask you - does it have? :-D
Hi. The DGX 650 (and 660) is better. I don't know exactly if the sounds are just the same, but based on its price the 650 (and 660) is a better piano than the P 105 on the video. I think the P 105 is a very old piano. If you are looking to buy I would say go for the 660.
Thank you for the fast answer! I just thought that they're both yamaha's and the old piano has less sound features so that would mean the DGX 660 might have the yamaha p105 string sounds + ton of new sound features built in (but I'm still not sure). I'm into DGX 660 rather than P105 that's for sure but I hope that DGX 660 has the same string sound just like p105 Let's change the question, maybe it was a misunderstood - Are you able to generate the same sound (which is in the link) on the DGX 660? :-D
Yes. And normally it must be even better. I can't compare the sounds just by listening to a video of the P 105, but from what I have listened it must be the same or better on the 660.
OMG, this is the best LOTR soundtrack with only one instrument I have ever heard, and you help me to decide to have Yamaha DGX 660. Thank you.......
Till now I have watched this video more that 100 times... count is still going. Amazing brooo
I have bought the DGX660 through this video too! And I have found the main style of this melody! It's 066 number voice, called "Live Alegro". Try it, its amazing!
That was AWESOME listening with headphones on brought me to another place..
Bravo Maestro Bravo!!! More More!!!
Thank you!
You are sick, man! Could listen to this all day long. So relaxing and awesome touch. Finally a keyboard that most people can afford. And you did it justice. Thanks so much for taking the time for share this. So much appreciated!
Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it!
I ordered a DGX-660 yesterday from a local music store and got 10% off. This video has inspired me try this type of music. :)
Oh man now I really want a Yamaha DGX 660. I've been debating about getting one. This video made up my mind! ( I love Lord of the Rings)
Sounds like an orchestra!!!! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

I've been listening this track and trying to playing on my own KB but it's so complicated for me to play without notes. If you have sheet notes, I'd like to have one in pdf file. Hoping to share one. Thank you.
Hello, I loved the interpretation: I wanted to ask you a question. Is the sound power of the Yamaha dgX660 enough with the built-in speakers?
It depends what you want to do with it. It's ok for a big room. I'm not sure if it will be enough for outside.
The music is eternal and I'm late to congratulate you and for the question..lol: Did you mix the '064 Live Strings' voice with the '66 live Alegro' voice without effects and with the same equalization?
A música é eterna e eu estou bem atrasado para parabenizá-lo e para a pergunta..rsrs: Vc misturou a voz "064 Live Strings" com a "66 live Alegro" sem efeitos e com mesma equalização?
I think it was just voice 066. No mix with other voice.
Nice strings..:-)
Thank you!
Como esque se escucha tan limpio el sonido maestro tengo ese mismo teclado y aprendí esa canción en tu tutorial pero no se escucha así como en tu teclado
It's recorded straight into the usb flash memory. Maybe that's why. It's what you listen through earphones.
Very good thank you how did. you set the Piano Voice and other things
You just select the voice from the piano. I didnt make any other adjustments or settings. The sound was recorded directly into a usb memory flash.
Would like to know for how many days you did practice ??? to come out such a beautiful art work
Maybe two or three months.

I love it! to u have the tabs for me?
Sorry I don't have any tabs. I composed it by ear.

Nikos Batras contact me too 👍😄
Fantastic sound from you Kboard ;)
Yes, it has very good instrument sounds. Thanks!
Yes I know I have the Yamaha too. I mean the sound you record. I can't get that direct sound to record
Dorian Video Tube North Carolina It's recorded directly into a USB flash memory stick. I didn't use any mic. It's voice n.64.
Great video. I have the same piano. How did you get the sound to record so well?
Thanks. The sound is recorded directly via USB flash memory. You can see it on the top of the screen (a blue one). Then I put the image and the sound together in Windows Movie Maker.

I just bough this piano cuz of this video....🤣...now, music sheets please?
Hi. Good choice! I don't have any music sheets. I composed it and played it by ear.
This is so beautiful! I have a question about this piano though, is it easy to do multi-layer recording on this piano? (I would love to be able to make cool soundtracks using this!)

Hi. could you help me out? I wonder how you do to record such good audio from the DGX 650. Do you only use the camera phone?
The sound is recorded into a usb memory stick directly pluged on the piano. You can see it on the top right corner of the screen.
Is
Yamaha 660
it's Yamaha DGX-650
Thank you for this video, the sounds is so nice. Did you record the audio by using a thumb drive without any audio interface?
Thank you! It's recorded directly into a USB flash memory stick. You can see it on the top of the screen (the blue one). No interface.
Thanks for your reply. This is so good that can record directly without any interface. I'm planning to buy a DGX-660 !
It's a very good keyboard.
What setting did you use on your Yamaha DGX?
No specific settings. Just voice n. 064 Live Strings.
Where can find the sheet music for this?
Sorry I don't have any sheet for this. I composed it by ear.
Hi, what DGX style is used in your composition? Could you share sheet music file?
It's voice n. 64 "Live Strings". I don't have any sheet file. I composed it by ear.
Thank's.
By the way, your performance is great!
Thank you!

Don't use movie maker, if you want something easy to edit, try Powerdirector.
You'l find a crack somewhere.
For the Low Price, buy the Powerdirector! It's worth to own this great application.. I had all versions from 10, 12, 14, 16 and it's great editor.

what voice did you use
Voice "064 Live!Strings"
Thanks
