I propose the idea that in Book 5, when Voldy tries to possess Harry, the pain he feels is not searing, burning pain, but that, for a moment, he feels all the pain Harry feels in his heart, with the death of Sirius just minutes ago, the pain of never knowing his parents because they were killed, of seeing Cedric die, the fear of losing his friends in the Department of Mysteries, and in that moment, Voldemort is at the precipice of remorse.
Or Voldemort feels all the good things and love in Harrys heart, which in turn sends him into a sedering pain and it is but the love he can not feel, when he feels it causes him the most pain and suffering 😮
Hermione says it in book 1: "I'm going to bed before either of you comes up with another clever idea to get us killed, or worse, expelled." Then Dumbledore clarifies in book 7: "The Master of Death does not seek to escape it. He accepts that he must die, and understands that there are far worse things in this world than death."
It would be neat to see a what if grindelwald won. How would that affect what Voldemort becomes? It would be such a massive overhaul of the entire series though

Tom Riddle is treated the worst but Merope heals his injuries and can at times grant him a reprieve from Morfin and Marvolo's torment. Tom and Merope fall in love but Morfin finds out and a grand dramatic event occurs during which Tom's parents are put to sleep forever. The happening causes a great disturbance among Muggles which are helped along by Albus Dumbledore. Seeing the treatment of the new Magical royals to the Muggle servants who used to own their home, leads to a near mass rebellion. A few conflicts arise but Grindelwald steps in and publicly tries Morfin in court and sends him to Azkaban. Morfin is forced to remove Tom from his service and take on a team of House Elfs instead as servers and butlers. Grindelwald also takes Merope and Tom into his inner circle and begins to use them and their budding union to settle the Muggle public's fears and wrath. Quietly, he has Marvolo taken away. But to Nurmengard instead of Azkaban. He falsely announces that Marvolo has passed away and there is a public funeral procession. Merope and Tom are initially unwilling to attend but Grindelwald convinces them to make an appearance in the end. Tom is then publicly given lordship of his family estate once more and also with the announcement of Tom and Merope's engagement, he is made a magical royal. Many of Dumbledore's Muggle resistance comrades come to view him as nothing more than a violent upstart and abandon him. Accepting Tom and Merope as their king and queen and Grindelwald as their Prime Minister. Some months after, Merope is pregnant and Grindelwald immediately begins to set to giving the soon-to-be parents lessons on how to raise young Tom Marvolo Riddle. Who will grow up as the Crown Prince of both Muggles and Magical folk. Meanwhile, Dumbledore passively resists Grindelwald's rule. But eventually still becomes Headmaster of Hogwarts and is under constant scrutiny. Perhaps Ariana is still alive in this timeline too. Since mayhaps Dumbledore's conviction to ultimately confront Grindelwald mostly had to do with his sister's untimely end- incidentally if not potentially caused by Grindelwald. I think Petunia should by a witch instead of Lily as well. There's no good reason related to the rest of this plot. I just think it would be interesting since she would obviously be much more likely than Lily to stay friends with Severus despite his dabbling in Dark Arts. And with a Lord Voldemort that is able to love, it's also poetic that Professor Snape also finds love. Although, Grindelwald trying to bind young Tom Riddle Jr. into an arranged marriage will cause him to experience difficulties with love regardless.

As someone whose last name IS Potter…. This series has affected my life so much. I mean, since elementary school I’ve gotten “are you related to Harry Potter!?” And it’s like….. no! …… all the men in my family are Bald Potters 😂
The main theme of Harry Potter is definitely death and how to process it, the many different ways and how fast it can happen. It’s all disguised in symbolism through a magical story and it’s helped me so much throughout my years.
Yes but this is Life, for me it is not ABOUT death but through this lense of Death it teaches us for the importance for living, enduring ones own fate, yet maintaining a heart to care & to love As Dumbledore said: Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love. It's all a matter of perspective
Don't forget another key element... Choices. This whole series is filled with choices that a person can make in many different scenarios. Dumbledore even states that it is Harry's choice to not be in Slytherin that made the Sorting Hat to select Gryffindor. Harry rounds this out at the end of the series by telling his young son that he can choose which house he can join, something that he didn't do with the his other son. Harry still chooses to be good even when he can be evil. Sometimes his choices aren't the best one, like choosing to not open Sirius' gift to him. Running off to the Ministry to save Sirius and ultimately putting Sirius in the position to die. There are so many other examples throughout the whole series of choices that are made. Like Snape choosing to request that Voldemort spare Lilly, Voldemort agreeing to do so and then actually attempt to grant Lily her life. Lily choosing to stand in opposition instead of saving herself and Voldemort choosing to kill her after granting her 3 chances. Then Voldemort choosing to try and kill Harry after Lily's sacrifice.
A very relatable quote for this i think is "I mean, they say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time." Harry's "horcruxes" and in that way, his legacy was the bonds he made with the people around him. Whether he was there or not, those who he changed through their hearts, he will always be with them
Good point, although the same could be said about Voldemort in a way. With all the terrible ("but great") things he did, his legacy will stick with people whose lives have been affected by it too. Then again, he was so terrible that people didn't want to say his name for years, so his legacy kinda backfired on him much like the killing curse.
I feel like you missed a huge theme of the series which is free will. We are who we are because of what we chose to be. Even a prophecy about the future only really came true because Voldemort chose to make it true. And Voldemort's final defeat came because Harry chose to die. This theme is even outright stated by Dumbledore when Harry is unsure about the Sorting Hat.
Harry didn’t choose to die he accepted his fate after he saw Dumbledore saying Voldemort had to kill him. That always confused me. He didn’t sacrifice himself for everyone, he was going to meet his fate. He felt he didn’t *have* a choice. Harry didn’t have a choice to not fight Voldemort, it was his fate to battle Voldemort. Voldemort didn’t have a *CHANCE* as he was born sociopathic and without the ability to love or care for others because his mom magic roofied his dad and conceived him, what chances of being a good person did he really have? he book contradicts its message so much. All JK had to do was leave the part about Voldemort being affected by the love potion, so that he *CHOSE* not to love or care for others…but no, he was born that way lol
There are seven archetypal stories that humans tell. Depending on how you want to dissect it, I can see this story falling into any of three: Overcoming the monster; a journey there and back; or rebirth.
I have always wondered WHAT IF Harry was raised by the Weasley’s instead of the Dursley’s?? Would Harry still be sorted into Gryffindor or would he have been sorted into Slytherin. And if he was raised by the Weasley’s, would he have ended up like Dudley or Malfoy always wanting to be better than others or would he have ended up the same as he is throughout the main story??
Molly would absolutely be on board. And more than likely Gryffindor, it’s the Weasleys who are all Gryffindors. Not sure about how he would change, or if he would. I’m thinking pretty similar, unless growing up away from family makes him vulnerable.
I think “What if Harry was raised by Neville’s grandmother” would be the more realistic scenario. Unlike the Weasleys, the Longbottoms were in the OOTP during the 1WW, so it makes more sense that they would raise Harry.
@@dmidkifNot necessarily. Molly’s brothers were in the original Order as well so Harry could be her nephew in this scenario. Hm Harry Prewett doesn’t quite have the same ring to it though.
@@Boundwithflame23I’m inclined to disagree. I don’t see Dumbledore hurting their finances even more when other viable options are available. Yes Arthur and Molly are next to ideal parents but by the time the Potters are killed Ginny is newly born and there are other Order members who could raise Harry Like the more financially settled Longbottoms, with Neville being next to his twin in age I imagine Dumbledore would approve. And of-course, they primarily live with only his grandmother, so it is far easier to hide and run (she also fenced off death eaters during the war)
I know a common questions that the guys ask is British or Magic. Who else would love to see the guys try some of the British not wizarding foods. There are a lot of foods that are in the books that we don’t have in the US but are common in the UK. For example the custard creams that the twins hex in Goblet or treacle tart that Harry loves.

You aren’t going to try and say that Sacrifice isn't a key theme? This is something that has been lacking in fantasy lately and Harry Potter is great example of sacrifice for the good of the world. " For the greater good"
@@torazely in deathly hallows, when talking to Aberforth, Harry openly admits that sacrifices must be made, quoting Dumbledore and Grindlewald by saying "for the greater good." It annoys me so much when people say "a hero would sacrifice you for the world while the villain would sacrifice the world for you" first of all, a true villain would sacrifice you for personal gain so don't flatter yourself, second, I would rather be sacrificed for the salvation of the world than watch it crumble to darkness around me. The fantasy genre seems to be forgetting that as a whole...
Just listened to half blood prince again and what the buns does Dumbledore say, when referring to possible horcruxes, "the only artifact from Gryffindor is safe" and he gestures towards the sword when the sorting hat is also a huge artifact, arguably more important to the school than the sword, and is in the very room that they are in.
Please please please do a video on Neville Longbottom's character development. .Questions like "did he deserve to be in Gryffindor?" character analysis etc.
Beautifully said. A few years back I wrote a piece attempting to bring all these elements together, and the fact that you, I, and many others have separately understood these truths and explained them in our own ways, shows it is the core message of the stories.
To go a touch further with "seeing the good in everyone", I don't know if that idea was explored as well as it could have been in this video, such as looking at Peter Pettigrew, someone that Harry knows was directly involved in the death of his parents, but he still prevents Lupin and Sirius from killing him, he says it's to prevent them from becoming murderers, but I also think he had a twinge of hope., whether misplaced or not. Despite hating Malfoy for 7 years and knowing that he had intended to kill Dumbledore (and only through his machinations, succeeded in drawing that right situation out), he still chose to risk his life to save Malfoy as the Room of Requirements burned down all around them.
@@antonangelov3855 They did this one already. Video titled "Do Broomsticks have magical cores?" If memory serves they also raised the notion again during their Through The Gryffin Door podcast, but didn't do much new with it while they were on the topic.
Puh ... that video got me emotional. Just finished the annual movie marathon, and seeing the whole series summarized like that really got to me. I totally agree with what you say! Thanks for the video, and all of the other ones!
I think the main theme is turning away from power. This is interesting because, what is in my mind a high related series, Naruto, tackles many of the same conflicts, and the main idea that it wants the audience to walk away with is that power is actually good, especially power that we derive from defending those we care about. That said, it sets up a lot of corollaries (power alone is not enough, it's better to work on a team than to work alone, learn to understand other's pain, and learn to forgive those that wronged us).
What would physically happen if someone like Voldemort were to live for hundreds of years with horcruxes? Like would he age to a very old version of himself or remain as voldemort prime? Can’t remember if this was ever discussed
Off topic from video. Ever thought of doing a what if for Hunger Games? I'm thinking a good what if would be if Prim went to the games instead of Katniss now the only way I can think of for that to work is that Katniss somehow dies about a year before the games the start this way she can't volunteer AND Prim gets at least a little bit of time getting survival training from Gale who I'm sure would take her under his wing.
A good idea for a video: What if Malfoy accepted Dumbledore’s proposal to join them on the Astronomy Tower ? Malfoy was hesitating and nearly dropped his wand before the Death Eaters came in, Dumbledore proposed for Malfoy and his Mother to join their side … the story would have changed drastically if Malfoy had accepted his offer I reckon.
Needs a point? Even the fun time has a very important mental health point... Only with that is important, everyone who is a fan has a relationship with Harry Potter and their point to love his world and story.
What about a What If They Realised House-Elves Were Really Useful? Like... teleportation in and out of Hogwarts. Dobby was basically ready to do anything to be useful to Harry. If Harry and Dobby kept in touch, Harry could have gone to Hogsmeade without issue. He could have eacaped from the World Cup with everyone safely when the Deatheaters attacked. He could have jumped over to Grimauld Place to check of Sirius was there. Etc. Etc.
“Where your treasure lies there will you heart be also” is a bible verse lolol I’ve always seen parallels of HP to the gospel tbh. Seems that jk got a lot of inspiration from the Bible.
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” is Matthew 6:21. And I would say the theme, or point, of the whole story is that Love conquers Death, which is also a very Christian idea. It’s so weird that some Christians have an issue with the story when there are so many parallels to Jesus. 🤷🏻♀️
I personally love HP and everything about it, but understand if people feel that way. For some people it’s just too much witchcraft and they can’t combine it with their faith. I just love to see exactly these points, all the parallels to the Bible. And I love to talk about exactly that with Christian’s and oftentimes they haven’t even read HP or seen the movies. Mostly they are surprised :)
Have you ever heard of the podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text? They go though the Harry Potter books chapter by chapter analysing them by a theme and use religious text analysis practices to do so
I don't think those are Christian ideas though. The main principles behind Christianity is that we live in a damaged world due to original sin, and the nature of this cursed world means that it's inevitable we'll "sin" against each other. So a good Christian tries to minimize his sin while also learning to forgive those who sin against him. The problem is that I think foreignness and mercy (probably the chief virtue within Christianity) are fairly absent within Harry Potter. Few if any villains are given a chance to redeem themselves. Instead all that matters in Harry Potter is that we have "love", something that we can somehow be born with or without, and which either makes us good or evil, which is definitely not a Christian virtue, as Christians generally believe that we all have the potential to achieve a state of grace. But also, the a small number of Christians overall who disliked Harry Potter was because of "magic", which itself is silly because magic isn't a sin (at least not exactly). Alchemy is largely considered to be a form of magic today, and it was widely practiced in Europe at the same time the church had maximum influence over Europe. The issue with magic was that it was seen either as a way to deceive others (basically lying, which, hey, turns out that's what most real alchemists were doing), or as a way to turn Christians away from God.
@@h.n.4060 the overall idea and belief in Christianity is that love (God) defeated death. A story doesn’t have to parallel every single aspect of something in order for people to compare the two. And I understand they don’t like the ‘magic’ or ‘witchcraft’ but anyone who has a problem with it in HP should also have a problem with Disney and almost any kids story. I mean, there’s literally magic in Narnia and they don’t have a problem with Narnia.
For Me the points of Harry Potter are: 1. Choice and Finding your purpose 2. Life and the Magic of it 3. Friendship and finding your tribe 4. Love 5. Fate Within J.K has installed all the most important keys one should learn upon this journey e g the importance of sacrifice, accepting one another and protecting those in need. It is after-all a modern retelling if the birth and story of Christ and so this video could also have been called what is the point of Jesus
I thought Hermione nailed it in the first book: "There are more important things - friendship and bravery...". Harry's love for his parents is hollow; he knew of them but he didn't know them as people. It's like hero worship. But it's his friendship with Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione are what drives Harry to do everything else. I believe his willingness to sacrifice himself at the end of book 1 is way more meaningful than at the end of book 7. An 11-year-old Harry is fully ready to die when he barely knows magic and has no plan for how to stop Quirell or get the stone. True bravery is doing the right thing regardless of how bleak the outcomes may be.
😂In the end We Slytherin are Glad Voldemort was defeated by a gryffindor such as Harry because Voldemort would change the house name from “Slytherin” to “Voldemort House” and no one from Slytherin is brave enough to oppose him so we needed Harry And Neville!
I feel like it’s about life and the struggle between good and evil and what role hope plays in it. I feel like death is a part of life and it isn’t necessarily good or bad it just is. We tend to look at it as bad in the western world but not so much in other cultures. I think I love the story because I have experienced so much loss in my life too.
Only problem with your assessment that 'Harry sees the good in everyone' (& so can accept everyone) is that I'm pretty sure he didn't do that for the Malfoys, or Snape, or Voldemort, or even Scrimgeour; & he definitely didn't see good in Umbridge, so I don't know if he could "accept" her being who she was. I know that it's probably just as well because it is a very human thing to accept some people but not even try to see if there's good in others, which makes him more believable as a character/person. However, I felt the need to say something about Harry's ability to see good in everyone, cause if that were the case he probably would have tried getting along with others even more than he did.
A small idea but what happens after Voldemort destroys the horocroux in Harry? Does Harry still know parseltounge. Is he better at occulemency. What else did he lose or gain from having a full complete soul.
He does lose parseltongue, we know that for sure. And while the lightning bolt scar doesn't disappear, it does fade and it never hurts him again. I don't think his failure at occlumency had anything to do with the connection, unless you count the fact that some part of him wanted to keep it. Even then, I suspect he'd still fail at it, although there's a lot to be said for someone far less antagonistic trying to teach it to him. Snape was a horrible choice, but they didn't really have any better options, all things considered.
with the new release of The Narrow Roads Between Desires, do you think that you could make more content on The Kingkiller Chronicles? Maybe something about the 4-plate door, or the Ctheah?
I have a question that has plagued me for years about the books and that is why no one questions Sirius's guilt? this is am man who left is pure blood family because he didn't believe in the dark ways. why didn't Dumbledore question it at the very least?
My own read on the Potter franchise is the following - It is okay to be weird and different. You will stick out. You will feel isolated and alone. But one day, it may not be today or tomorrow or even 10 years from now, but one day nonetheless: you will find YOUR people. One day, your “Hagrid” will arrive. It may be in the form of an opportunity to jump at something new and exciting. It might be someone who sees themselves in you. But one day you will find your fellow “weird” people. Be patient. They’re out there. - But just because you find your people, be careful not to divide among them. As much as we love fitting into a “House” at Hogwarts, we must be careful to not let these cliques divide us. Despite all being “weird” people, the students of Hogwarts live as if truly divided and those divisions lead to many of the problems we see in the story! Take that as a cautionary tale! - Magic can’t solve everything. The rich will still profit and get richer. There will still be bigotries and hatreds. There will be oppression between the Haves and Have Nots. A lot of folks complain that the situation surrounding the House Elves and Centaurs and Goblins was never fixed or changed. That’s the point. Even with the power to create things out of thin air or endlessly multiply food or transport to distant lands: it still doesn’t make these problems go away. - But there is something SO much more powerful than magic and CAN solve those things if the proper effort is put into place: LOVE. It is more powerful than any magical feat one can perform. It is not the knowledge of the magical person or their innate magical strength that makes them powerful: it is their capacity for love. And not just any love but TRUE love. Selfless and Self sacrificial love. This is what changes the world, not magic. And even then: *it will take time to undo all the harm that has been done*! Even with the most powerful form of magic (Love) these institutions cannot go away overnight. That’s just the way the world works! - The power of our choices matters deeply. People are not born good and evil. Rather, it is their choices which define them and most of all their choices to live with or without Love.
I love y’all’s videos and it’s got me to actually read the books! But I’ve always wondered, why did all four of the marauders have to die? Was it intentional or did it just happen that way?
Wait, why was the prophecy going on and on about some kid born at a certain month and such, why THAT month??? Does anyone know, I’m genuinely curious why the chosen one couldn’t be born in January or September
Ooo, this is interesting. Very up to interpretation. I’d love to see a short vid from other folks on the SuperCarlinBrothers team to see what their takes on the same question are. It could be a fun series.
The best theory I've heard of is below - In the book Tale of Three Brothers, the veil represents Death and the bridge (referenced in the book) refers to the pathway between Life and Death. The three brothers create the hallows to safely use beyond the veil - the invisibility cloak will let the user to safely pass through the veil and navigate whatever is beyond the veil, the elder wand is the only wand powerful enough to use on the other side of the veil, and the resurrection stone is the only way to safely recall the person who entered the veil, to be brought back to our world. The three brothers were very powerful Wizards who found a way to safely go beyond the veil and also use the Deathly Hallows in our world as well.
🤔From the Serpent’s Venom comes the Anti Venom. Seeing death as an enemy instead of an old friend is why Voldemort is different from the rest of other Slytherin. We Slytherin believe in balance and embracing nature, we understand our place in the circle of life, Voldemort is different from us Slytherin in that his goal was to go against Human nature by becoming immortal, which is an ambition worthy of Slytherin house but the means in which immortality is attained is important because once a slytherin stops using their venom to create anti venom; and choose our own ambitions over the safety of the world you become the kind of evil person Voldemort was ultimately.
Hey guys love your content. A question. What made voldemort hold stock in prophesies, where dumbledore did not, basically what would happen if Snape told voldemort the prophesy that he heard and he said I don't care.
A suggestion if you played the Hogwarts Legacy game. What if the blind heir to Slytherin found the Chamber of Secrets and kept the basalisk on the side of good?
i still think we need a spinoff series with episodes where voldemort tries to kill harry in different ways and it always fails. like throwing a dagger that just shatters on impact, dropping a car on his head that just bounces off, voldemort cannot kill harry, no matter what he tries
You know I really wouldn't be surprised if Neville is also a descendant of the Peverelle family just like Harry and Voldemort are. I feel like that would be yet another reason why it was all down to chance between which of the boys would be The Chosen One

Yes but this is Life, for me it is not ABOUT death but through this lense of Death it teaches us for the importance for living, enduring ones own fate, yet maintaining a heart to care & to love
As Dumbledore said: Do not pity the dead, Harry.
Yes Arthur and Molly are next to ideal parents but by the time the Potters are killed Ginny is newly born and there are other Order members who could raise Harry
Like the more financially settled Longbottoms, with Neville being next to his twin in age I imagine Dumbledore would approve.
Never try to save my life again... dobby's death hits harder when you remember that line.
Yup 😢
Video idea: what form would a boggart take for Snape?
I’m re-reading HP #3, and Snape gets out of the teacher’s lounge FAST when Lupin’s class comes to tackle the boggart. Made me wonder if he was leaving in order to hide his fears.
Imagine having a crush on someone in your class, then failing to interact with them only to later on marry them!🥺🥺How adorable.
I've had several crushes on classmates but failed to interact with them. Where's my sudden wish fulfillment?
I don't see that story as a positive one
@@coolnerdlll6053 Just you wait a couple years, hopefully it'll happen.
@@DeadEye42069 It shows that awkward guys or just people in general can find their partners if they are just in the right environment. And it's basically fate.
@@Bella_The_Nerd25 I see it as shallow. If I were in that situation, I'd feel like I weren't good enough - I'd fear about reverting to being not good enough.
I have a lot of experiences like that believe it or not, could be me being biased cause of that
For me the point is: Love and sacrifice. And how those two things are always side by side in life.
The whole point is that it brought all of us together! This world captured our imagibations to show us Magic! Plus you guys making this awesome channel😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Actually, the true scheme of this series was to get kids to enjoy reading!
...the audacity! 😹
You aren’t going to try and say that Sacrifice isn't a key theme? This is something that has been lacking in fantasy lately and Harry Potter is great example of sacrifice for the good of the world. " For the greater good"
The greater good...
@@edenjones455 no, I was... I was making a meme reference to another movie.
@@torazely oh haha 😅 sorry about that. What movie?

Youre quite the seeker. You caught the Golden Snitch!
Looks like Ben’s a seeker - he caught the golden snitch
Haha thats hilarious
Wasn’t expecting the story of you and Alice at the beginning but so glad we got it!! So sweet.
You can read it as if it's a story about death trying to take back Voldemort, just like it took two of the three brothers who tried to cheat it.
Friendship is my favourite part in Harry Potter.
I love your videos, can you please do a theory on the wand cores
Or the broom cores? Has this been talked about? Are the brooms like the wands with different cores?
@@antonangelov3855 They did this one already. Video titled "Do Broomsticks have magical cores?" If memory serves they also raised the notion again during their Through The Gryffin Door podcast, but didn't do much new with it while they were on the topic.
@riluna3695 Thank you, I will check it out
To me the point of Harry Potter is "the nature of mortality and the tragic consequences of a quest for deathlessness."
Death in general is the main theme. How it can happen and how it’s unavoidable, and the many ways to deal with it.
@@Daytondaily yes, that is the "nature of mortality" part
Puh ... that video got me emotional.
“What If voldemort had realized harry was a horcurx immediately” would be an amazing video! credit to @deverosfear for the idea outline
What would physically happen if someone like Voldemort were to live for hundreds of years with horcruxes? Like would he age to a very old version of himself or remain as voldemort prime? Can’t remember if this was ever discussed
I was gonna ask the same, it never explains if they act like a fountain of youth or anything. I don't think they do but they must
Always thought HP was about love, but really like the view that Ben shares.
I still want to see What if Dursleys treated Harry like Dudley.
Off topic from video. Ever thought of doing a what if for Hunger Games? I'm thinking a good what if would be if Prim went to the games instead of Katniss now the only way I can think of for that to work is that Katniss somehow dies about a year before the games the start this way she can't volunteer AND Prim gets at least a little bit of time getting survival training from Gale who I'm sure would take her under his wing.
this is definitely going to be one of your most important videos
A good idea for a video: What if Malfoy accepted Dumbledore’s proposal to join them on the Astronomy Tower ? Malfoy was hesitating and nearly dropped his wand before the Death Eaters came in, Dumbledore proposed for Malfoy and his Mother to join their side … the story would have changed drastically if Malfoy had accepted his offer I reckon.
I want to see this so much
Waiting for a HP theory video on why Cedric Diggory is actually Edward Cullen in-universe.
What if Sirius indeed killed Pettigrew after Potters' Fall
Etc. Etc.
Didn’t now I needed to hear the quick story on how Ben and Alice met! 🥰
“Where your treasure lies there will you heart be also” is a bible verse lolol I’ve always seen parallels of HP to the gospel tbh. Seems that jk got a lot of inspiration from the Bible.
Can you do a what if on Regulas Arcturus Black survived the cave thats great one to do 😊

Happy holiday season to all and to all,SEE YOU ON RUclips 😃👍💯
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” is Matthew 6:21. And I would say the theme, or point, of the whole story is that Love conquers Death, which is also a very Christian idea. It’s so weird that some Christians have an issue with the story when there are so many parallels to Jesus. 🤷🏻♀️
Because they complain about the witchcraft while ignoring that Jesus performs witchcraft ("miracles") in the Bible.
For Me the points of Harry Potter are:
1. Choice and Finding your purpose
2. Life and the Magic of it
3. Friendship and finding your tribe
4. Love
5. Fate
Within J.K has installed all the most important keys one should learn upon this journey e g the importance of sacrifice, accepting one another and protecting those in need.
It is after-all a modern retelling if the birth and story of Christ and so this video could also have been called what is the point of Jesus
“The real horcrux’ are the friends you made along the way” AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO ABSOLUTELY NEEDS THIS ON A T-SHIRT!!!
Suggestion for a fanfic theory video - Harry Potter celebrating Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and who's photos he would have up on the alter
Can you do a theory on why some witches or wizards are more powerful than others? I've always wondered why this could be.
😂In the end We Slytherin are Glad Voldemort was defeated by a gryffindor such as Harry because Voldemort would change the house name from “Slytherin” to “Voldemort House” and no one from Slytherin is brave enough to oppose him so we needed Harry And Neville!
But for real, I remember in highschool I had a conversation with my friends about how Harry Potter eased up our fear of death significantly.
That intro song hit a lot different than usual. It sounded more powerful.
14:03 - why do I feel like I’d exactly put that on my tombstone? 😹💚
Guys! You're the Best! Suggestion: What if peter stayed loyal?
I would love to see them do a video where they react to Harry Potter memes! It would be so funny. 🤣
I wish you brothers drop better health as a sponsor soon
I absolutely love this take. Love, acceptance and death
"The real Horcruxes are the friends you made along the way."
PLEASE PUT THAT ON SOME MERCH, I SWEAR I WILL BUY IT.
Now THAT’s a catchy video title
Yes, the point is the "POWER OF LOVE"!!!!!
with the new release of The Narrow Roads Between Desires, do you think that you could make more content on The Kingkiller Chronicles? Maybe something about the 4-plate door, or the Ctheah?
Man's asking the real questions
I have a question that has plagued me for years about the books and that is why no one questions Sirius's guilt? this is am man who left is pure blood family because he didn't believe in the dark ways. why didn't Dumbledore question it at the very least?
My own read on the Potter franchise is the following
- It is okay to be weird and different.
J.K. Rowling's birthday is July 31st.
So it’s because her birthday’s in that month? I thought it was some specific like magical reason or smth, thank you :)
Ooo, this is interesting. Very up to interpretation. I’d love to see a short vid from other folks on the SuperCarlinBrothers team to see what their takes on the same question are. It could be a fun series.
The best theory I've heard of is below -
In the book Tale of Three Brothers, the veil represents Death and the bridge (referenced in the book) refers to the pathway between Life and Death.
I loved the ben and alyce cliffnotes. Bestest how we met everrrrr
Love the shirt! Any chance it will ever be on sale?
Sees the best in “everyone”? Pretty sure all of slytherin are an exception at minimum
I thought of a question for the what-if series. What if Professor Quirrell/Voldemort informed Snape that they were trying to get Voldemort a body
I’ve been loving these!
This is very interesting! Thank you so much!
anything happens in the wizarding world.
Dumbledore: Love harry, love.
“Love, acceptance and DEATH” 😂 Yeah that pretty much sums up the Harry Potter series
Voldemort could have killed James and Lily and kidnapped Harry and raised him to be a death eater. I wonder how that would have turned out.
Love your videos
What if Lily took harry and ran ( listening to James)?
How bout what if Snape was in griffindoor
Could I get a what if Harry asked Cho to the ball first?
It was Harry’s love for his friends that made him choose to come back to life
A suggestion if you played the Hogwarts Legacy game. What if the blind heir to Slytherin found the Chamber of Secrets and kept the basalisk on the side of good?
Awesome as always thanks guys ❤
i still think we need a spinoff series with episodes where voldemort tries to kill harry in different ways and it always fails. like throwing a dagger that just shatters on impact, dropping a car on his head that just bounces off, voldemort cannot kill harry, no matter what he tries
You know I really wouldn't be surprised if Neville is also a descendant of the Peverelle family just like Harry and Voldemort are.
I feel like that would be yet another reason why it was all down to chance between which of the boys would be The Chosen One
