I read some article where he was called "The Iberian prancer, football's finest matador, who made defenders feel befuddled, like bulls at Pamplona. He was the best, even if his best was short-lived.
He has his own rhythm. An instinctive view of how the defender feels uncomfortable with the space, explosive speed at which he can reach the ball he touched after touching it into the space, and a finish faster than the defender expected. In a word, his strength is kind like a syncopation.

Torres and stevie g made me love liverpool even more as a child 🔴🔴 what a duo back then 💪
Me too.. started to love Liverpool when i saw these two playing alongside each other
As a Man United supporter i remember watching Torres back in the day, i was in awe as well as amazement by his playing style, the way how he kept the football stuck to his feet, plus how he moved across the pitch with ease. I can't hate or dislike Fernando Torres there was something special about him.
Liverpool supporters were really lucky to have this guy playing for Liverpool at the time it's like he was a head of his time, Torres was a complete machine when he was playing for Liverpool his perfect timing for a first touch, or a long ball, even making the most seasoned premier league players ankles wobble like spaghetti. Torres was the whole package he was like Cristiano Ronaldo but the Liverpool version.
i'm 37 now - used to love football, i experienced the spanish national team + players between 2006-20012 thats all i could ask for. I saw fernando, iniesta, xavi, xabi, raul, villa and such play - i just stopped watching football after 2012. couldn't get any better for me : P - torres in liverpool thought one of the best - if not best strikers at that time - worldwide
There

2:16 favourite Stevie G and Torres combo goal
One of my favourite players of all time. Was sad to see him decline so fast

Wow! That's really amazing. So I am not the only one 🙌
1:24 This goal remains my favorite goal he ever scored. Illustrated how you felt like he could score out of nowhere. Truly one of the best to do it.
O auge amigo
Thank you for making the video of Torres.❤️❤️
The player who won World cup, UCL but have nothing what he deserves.
He was in team but not in game...
He is my favorite player.

I love him
I can't believe his career is over
So elegant player ... I'm a Real Madrid fan but I've followed his career since he was young.
One of my favorite players of all time.
I read some article where he was called "The Iberian prancer, football's finest matador, who made defenders feel befuddled, like bulls at Pamplona. He was the best, even if his best was short-lived.
really I miss those golden days of football😞
& I miss torres more than anyone💔
He has his own rhythm.
An instinctive view of how the defender feels uncomfortable with the space, explosive speed at which he can reach the ball he touched after touching it into the space, and a finish faster than the defender expected.
In a word, his strength is kind like a syncopation.
Yes, a shrewd mind behind the skill. Alex Fergusen summed it up brilliantly
Without him. Spain would never won euro
2008 : scored the winning goal in final
2012 : Spain top scorer and euro golden boot
he also was part of the goal in the world cup even when he was already injured at that moment of the match
@@andrescoloma6652 Yes, Iniesta said Torres was screwed beyond belief through injury, but contributed valuably
@@andrescoloma6652 very few people take the trouble to find out what went on behind the final move. Hats off for you!!! Warms my heart so see people who look behind the flash!
The guy was so good and untouchable. It is so disheartening to see people trolling him for few misses and forgetting how a beast he was. The reason i started football was him. He made me love liverpool. It was treat to watch him play.
#F9T❤️
For those brief years he was absolutely magic
from 2001 to 2009 + great moments from 2010 to 2018.
By far the most ICONIC player I've ever seen
Took the world by storm
The reason I fell in love with Liverpool and football at the age of 8. My idol
A ultra powerfull spark ... i'm not blaming him to be at the top class level ... heck i'm very lazy myself many times. I will allways remember the threat of him in his prime. MU fan here. Respect.
I miss him so much i hope he gets an icon card
Wish l could see him playing live but he left Europe before that😔😔😔
One of my favourite ever players even when he was at Liverpool. I wont forget how excited I was when we signed him.
Bu adamın prime hali benim idolümdü.
Liverpool Torres, the collar, long hair, headband, long sleeve, T90 boots and Gerrard partnership. El Nino. Couldn't get any better than that
Toooorreeeess ... The legend 😍💥
Roberto Carlos ruclips.net/video/RalGDqr0OOE/видео.html
With those long hair.. torres looked like a young, wild stallion. The way he ran... 🐎🐎🐎 running freely on the field.
Synonym of class! Torres❤️
No one can be comparado to El Nino. The greatest player that I ve ever seen. Ronaldo, Benzema, Messi, arent even able to tie his shoes
My uncle was A huge Torres and Barca fan and I was the opposite
A huge Cr7 and Real Madrid fan.( also Man United because of my love for cr7)
But I’m ngl I was very impressed with Torres but could not admit it. Now that I’m older I miss this Guy somehow and now play him in FIFA 22.
Beautiful memories.
My uncle was a Messi fan and still is but he respects Ronaldo a lot. I’m so happy to be born in the 90s. To have witnessed a lot of legendary football matches.
He is one of best first touch heroes among Dimitar Berbatov
Roberto Carlos ruclips.net/video/RalGDqr0OOE/видео.html
Berbatovs first touch is in a league of its own.
Torres has a magnet on his foot for the ball hihihi
Berbatov 💔 kerala blasters legend
6:03 that goal gives me chills 😬😳😱
Even if he struggled at Chelsea on an individual level, he was able to win the FA cup, Ucl and Europa league.
And He was so important for the winning of Europa League
Torres at Liverpool stands among the greats are a damn good striker. It was a delight to watch him score. Damn those years - watching Gerrard and Torres play together was just wonderful
I use to wear long sleeves and had long hair as a young boy man i miss those times.
