Messi e CR7 são muito bons, mas o destaque deles é proveniente do declínio técnico do futebol, pós anos 2000. E acredito que tenham sido os últimos "grandes" jogadores.

He was exceptional yet graceful. That is why he is still my idol. There are plenty of moments missing here such as solo goals vs Argentina, vs Celtic, insane acceleration vs New Zealand. He was very very difficult to deal with in those days. Insane acceleration, balance, passing elegance....he had it all. As the Rossoneri fans put up on the banner: "He is PRICELESS". What a player he was. I miss him.

As for CR7 he doesn't have the finesse of Kaka.(I'm a CR7 fan)

I don't know why people barely talk about him. I'm a Messi fan, and yeah people always talk about R9,Pelé,Maradona,Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. But never do they mention Kaka. Shows how unrecognised he was.

With all respect, of course he isn't mentioned among the very very best of all time. He was great and a sight to behold but he is not in the top 10 of all time nor the top 20. But again Dinho also is not in the top 10 and R9 is hovering around 10th.
So sad to say, I really like and miss Kaka but he is not quite up there.
Among Brazilians alone you have to put R9, Pele, Garrincha and Zico above him with Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto, Socrates and Dinho at the same level.. Roberto Carlos too. Then you still have Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Maradona, Platini, Zidane, Eusebio, Maldini, Buffon, Yashin, Di Stefano, Puskas (and more) above him from other countries. Clearly there is a reason he is not mentioned together with Messi and Cr7, they are simply at least one full level above even Prime Kaka.

We need to teach kids proper strenght training and that its not for looking muscular or just getting strong its for injury prevention. Strenght training and mobility training are the two things that will keep you playing for years and years. Ofc people will have bad luck but just look at lebron james, he does everything to perfection and could play until he is 40.
