I had the air cooled version from new last December and loved it. Had the liquid cooled version on September 1st this year and I am thoroughly impressed. The differences are subtle but noticeable, I feel. The new bike feels a little livelier to me but you can't expect a 125 to be a rocket ship. I think the new bike looks so much better in the white too, and the new graphics are miles better. For a bike to explore the little back roads of Wales (where there may be grass growing up the middle), I think this one is perfect. A couple of days away with the panniers and top-box loaded up is a great way to explore this wonderful country we live in. Great review and I hope it persuades others to give a go. Thanks.
Hows the new (liquid cooled bike) hopefully looking to get one when i do my cbt in April. I'm from wales too, Cwmbran. Is the braking annoying with it affecting the front brake also?
I have just done my CBT and have one of these to learn with and build experience. I’m an elderly rider (44), 6ft4 in and about 14 stone on a good day. I’d concur with the comments that the bike is fine up to about 50mph, after which it starts to struggle. It’s fine for what I need and will serve its purpose well. Not enough power to get me into trouble but will allow me a few adventures all the same. Given people on FB are breaking theirs after four years it would suggest they don’t last. That said I suspect it depends how they are looked after. I’ve hosed mine down with ACF50 and I’ve read they are fine if looked after. Of course there is that couple that went to Mongolia with a pair of them and Teapotone circumnavigated the country on another…a trip I plan to replicate in April👍
I’m also 6,4 and older rider (49) glad to hear you fit on it ok? Stuck with 125 as can’t justify the £1000 they want in training to ride anything bigger 🙄
Just bought one of these in the red version.I must admit it looks really nice sat on the driveway. When the guy delivered it and he was pushing it up the drive it looked huge. I even questioned as to whether he'd bought the right bike!! I'd done my CBT on a much smaller bike so was a little apprehensive but I didn't need to be. It comes in at around 160kilos but is surprisingly easy to get up onto the centre stand. The first time out she went like a dream though I did struggle with the gears at first just touring round the streets around my town. The balance of the bike is excellent, it is very light and nimble once you get it moving and I found a nice sized carpark to practice my u turns and slow manoeuvres and I have to say it turns at slow speed remarkably well. It was a gamble buying it, my total cost including tax, registration, insurance, delivery plus a full tank of fuel was just under £3500 but it's worth every penny as a commuter bike and pottering around town. Will I take off road.? Probably not but the panniers and top box will come in handy if I decide to go further afield.. I really think I'm going to enjoy my little Terrain and as a road legal CBT entry level bike I would recommend it as a first bike to anyone over the age of 17 thinking of learning to ride.
saw one of these the other day...Id quite like one. Considering doing a CBT and have a 125cc as a cheap commuter, now that the cost of fuel is stupid high
Great video - like hearing your opinion - i went for the Zontes G1 in the end - better made, ABS and more comfortable,. The Sinis was a bit too basic and felt slow to me, though I loved the carrying capacity!
There may not be massive difference in power from air cooled to water cooled engine but the main advantage is with liquid cooling power is consistent and does not lose compression even in long rides, which is the issue with any air cooled engines they tend to lose that power over time, especially if there's not enough air to cool the engine down, you will start having problems with piston rings and other internal parts. Water cooled no brainer is the only way to go for.
I have to admit I really do like the look OK this Mike but as a 18st guy after watching this and other similar videos the performance is sort of starting to put me off
Can recommend the Zontes G1 125 as an alternative! This is nice though great first bike but fully loaded and my weight wouldnt want to go up too many hills😉 P.s Kept my revs much lower but whilst am riding it in am under 50mph..(B roads). Yeah I love Audis etc haha
Your review sounds like all you want is to go top speed everywhere. Wringing it to death by redlining all the time is not realistic or good for the engine.
A screaming Chinese bike isn't going to last and I hate red line running bikes. I have a 125GTS Vespa and that does 60mph two up and without howling, but my question is this... For only £500 more you can get a 350cc Royal Enfield Hunter, a better built bike, British designed with almost twice the power, so why would you buy this screamer? I have a Meteor 350 and it is fantastic, 3 classes up from this. £3,000 is way too much for this, I bet they are £1,000 in China, the rest is anti-dumping levies.
Great video really like both Terrain any chance you doing a video on lexmoto vendetta 250 with them been similar price
Thanks Donald! Will be one for the list!

What about trying a MGB ATX 125 adventure motorcycle, I wonder if it just as good.
That looks like it could be good fun!

hey how can i buy this bike if i live in lithuania?
This is a rebadged Zongshen I think , and you can also find this bike called Motron x-nord 125 .
The bike seems to be needing a Power valve just to help it a long a little bit.
You need to mention the lack of power one more time
125 moteur 50cc
Hi pal I have one on a 67 plate with a tow bar you reckon it will pull my single motorcycle trailer ?
Interesting , 125 CC, six gears and has liquid cooler
