Hey Nate, in forgotten city, you arent thrown thousands of years back in time. Its only 7 years. If you go back there after the mod is completed, the people are still there and they remember you and tell you what they have been up to since you left
I LOVE new land DLC/mods. I adore Skyrim, but being able to leave and explore other parts of Tamriel is just great. Dragonborn, Bruma, Moonpath, Mask of Nocturnal just make me want to play the game more and more, despite the fact that I've already played it numerous times already. I look forward to seeing more. TES VI may be on its way, but it's gonna have to be AMAZING, and it's modding scene even moreso, to make us forget about Skyrim.
I've played Moonpath, Forbidden City, Bruma, Falskaar, Grey Cowl (all excellent, especially Forbidden City and Grey Cowl), and in terms of size only, Vigilant (which just finished) felt like the biggest while Moonpath felt relatively small, so I guess surprised that a 'biggest/largest' list didn't include Vigilant.
I'm currently doing a Legacy of the Dragonborn playthrough for the first time and it seriously has to be one of the best implemented mods ever. It's an incredibly large mod that still seems to just slot so perfectly into the existing game. While most dlc sized mods seem to take place in their own world space.
I’ve just started playing The Forgotten City. Just got the key to the Lakehouse and the spookiness *already* is making me want to *NOPE* on out of there
I'm currently on the neverending playthrough. I have clockwork castle, forgotton city, wyrmstooth, darkend, winking skeever loft, carved brink, and beyond skyrim bruma installed. All of those + the main game and its DLC's make the game massive in scope. I barely have crashes and am running about 150 active mods right now. The modding community has outdone themselves.
@Souper Effective The mod author, Vicn, has stated as such. One of his other mods, Unslaad, is also based on it (particularly, the Painted World of Ariamis), and his last, Glenmoril, is based on the Witcher.
Rigmor of Cyrodiil should be on this list. The worldspace added is huge, although a bit empty as there´s little more than the mainquest. Still worthwhile, even if you want to just have a look around and enjoy the landscape. But the story is awesome, too, can´t wait for the next one :D And since you mentioned Vigilant at the end, could you maybe make more videos about ongoing projects? I´ve seen that the creator of Vigilant has two more mods, Unslaad and Glenmoril, but I´ve seen no mentions of them in any modlist vids I´ve watched so far. Seems a shame as Vigilant is and prbly will forever be the best questmod for Skyrim
Listening to the brief description of "Enderal" has me on the Nexus looking at it right now. Actually, it's installing, and I can't wait to jump into it! Considering I haven't quite played my character as "Dragonborn" (despite having done the major questline), it's going to be an amazing experience. Thanks for showing it, Nate, I can't wait to have as much fun with this as I have with "Rigmor" and others after watching your vids!
Sadly that mod isn't compatible with the Legend of Zelda DLC mod, even with patches. Apparently you may need to use some console commands if you plan on using both mods.
Legacy worth having. All of those end bosses you defeat in dungeons that carry a unique mask, sword, or armor now mean something. I used to get uniques and compare them to my equipment and then turn around and sell most of them. Not anymore. It belongs in a museum. Also legacy will adapt itself to some of your other mods allowing you to store new weapon mods into the museum.
I remember the midnight release on 11-11-11 I was SO stoked to have it in my hands! I was lost in the world all night & morning. I went into work the next day with little to no sleep and all I was thinking about was skyrim. I got all my co-workers and boss into it lol and for the next 3 months we talked skyrim at work all the time! and here I am still lost into the world with ALL these amazing mods I still haven't played! I can't wait to create yet another character and get lost again in 2020! love this series!
@@prometheuslens7825 there are far more limitations to consoles. SKSE is required and Enderal is using a ton of SKSE plugins which will never work on consoles :/
It’s on Steam now as well. Also if you get the steam version, not only do you get the DLC, it doesn’t overwrite the Skyrim LE files(it just copies the Skyrim assets it needs into its own folder) so you can play both LE and Enderal without having to back up any files, etc
Moonpath to Elsweyr was the first mod I decided to install. That time I thought that mods spoil the unique atmosphere of the game and it’s a shame to use it. [looking at the list of 100+ mods installed now] Ahhh that naive kitten...
You can play Enderal as a stand alone game on steam...so yeah not exactly a dlc I would also like to mention Vigilant, a somewhat dark souls inspired mod (in terms on designs) and has you travel to oblivion where the majority of the mod takes place. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I felt Vigilant was too end-heavy and there were times I ended up frustrated with things. Like how you have the whole early fight with Molag Bal and then get owned by a mere mage right after. :/ Also the ghost that can kill you through even God Mode in Chapter 3 was bullshit.
Darkend is one of my favorites, it’s a dark souls inspired island called Pharos which is based around the idea of not having quests. The quests aren’t logged with your other ones, you have to find stuff out morrowind style.
forgotten city is one of my absolute favorites ever. i can always get behind a small sized mod with tons of depth and good voice acting versus large one's with little depth
@@ModdingNewbie I'm fairly certain someone will have created mods to run Skyrim on whatever system develops in the future. I'm also sure that Nate will do at least one video on it.

@@inquisitorialllama638 not really. I agree with most of that, but the graphics are really good, the draw distance goes very far and there's a very high amount of polygons, it also has native Ray tracing! Plus it runs really well, even at ultra settings I'm getting infinite fps. Too bad my monitor can't even show me 60
I personally found Moonpath to Elsweyr to be absolute dogshit. Like, really jank. NPCs didn’t path through it well at all, quests were jank, terrain was crude and often broken, the way the map worked was obnoxious, etc. I genuinely don’t think it deserves all the praise it gets. There were some aspects I liked, but not enough to balance it.
By current standards, I agree. But keep in mind how early the mod came out. I hear someone’s redoing the mod and that the Beyond Skyrim team is “taking it under their wing,” which I’d assume means they plan on incorporating it into their Elsweyr mod. So that should be interesting.
Gotta love this community. Just when you think you’ve played “most” of what the mod authors of skyrim have to offer, BAM!!!! They hit you with another 10hrs of gameplay and throw a separate game altogether then hype you for coming expansions and full on remasters of older ES titles and before you know it, you’ve added another 400hrs and counting to your skyrim and you’re just getting started. Now this... this is why this is my favourite game, just can’t quit it.
Also with beings like Fudgemuppet (the living tribunal), EpicNate (pretty much Hermaeus Mora at this point) and all the other aedra and daedra on RUclips doing they’re doing, this cycle will be continuing, for all eternity. AND.... I’m not complaining.

What is the armour set in the thumbnail? Looks very cool.
Try the Skyrim Mordhau Armor and Weapons mod. They're on TeamTAL's patreon but you don't have to pay for it.
The helm seems like houndskull from kingdom come deliverance
@@Fayyadz4 the houndskull was a real helmet in the middle ages not just from kcd.
@@Gervaj79 can i use the mod with nexus mod manager?
@@leonardopoli6206 Yeah. You download the file and then install it manually via nexus mod manager.
I'm going to make Todd happy and just buy Skyrim for PC so I can play Skyblivion
I heard u also need a copy of Oblivion on pc to play Skyblivion
And u need a copy of morrowwind to play SkyWind
Really? No problem then. Soon as I get a new computer, it's Steam ahoy! :-D 😎
Yep I just read it on their discord
Yeah and dont forget that little bit that goes to Gaben.
*For how's he supposed to make Half Life 3*
Unslaad should definitely have it's place here if it was a top 10 for example, nice vid btw
If we're going to trow in Vicn's mods, we might as well go for Vigilant. Or even Glenmoril if it ever gets finished.
@@GalCon99 100% agree
I enjoy the mod videos overall more than your other ones. Please keep it up :)
"10 Tiny Details You May Have Missed About Enderal"
Awesome video 👌.
I was looking for a video showing off dlc sized mods like this.
Thanks Nate 😁
Mister Dragonfly... U'v got to see this... this is amazing!
As the joker said, "I'm a man of my word. *insane laughter*".
My brother and I love your videos 🔥🔥 thanks for the guides
My gods, I would like the video twice if I could. You my good sir...
Have just inspired yet another playthrough of skyrim
I’ve just started playing The Forgotten City. Just got the key to the Lakehouse and the spookiness *already* is making me want to *NOPE* on out of there
I'm currently on the neverending playthrough. I have clockwork castle, forgotton city, wyrmstooth, darkend, winking skeever loft, carved brink, and beyond skyrim bruma installed. All of those + the main game and its DLC's make the game massive in scope. I barely have crashes and am running about 150 active mods right now. The modding community has outdone themselves.
Question. In general, how much storage space do these mods take up? How much space would a laptop need? Is 1TB enough?
I love the gray cowl mod it takes to the home if the redguard and it's fun bit confusing in some parts
Your videos always keep me playing this game haha
> Not mentioning Vigilant
Heresy!
Vigilant is such a good mod, it's like Skyrim and Dark Souls had a baby
@Souper Effective the mod was literally modelled after dark souls
But he did mention Vigilant, right at the end. It just wasn't one of the mods on spotlight.
@Souper Effective From playing the mod.
@Souper Effective The mod author, Vicn, has stated as such. One of his other mods, Unslaad, is also based on it (particularly, the Painted World of Ariamis), and his last, Glenmoril, is based on the Witcher.
Playing Forgotten City DLC was probably the best 10 hours of gaming I've ever had. I was so sad it ended.
Hey Nate, what graphics mods do you use? Your videos always look super good, and I’m just really curious 😊
Beyond Skyrim: It’ll be complete by the time ES6 comes out
Everyone: When’s that
Beyond Skyrim: Exactly.
Rigmor of Cyrodiil should be on this list. The worldspace added is huge, although a bit empty as there´s little more than the mainquest. Still worthwhile, even if you want to just have a look around and enjoy the landscape. But the story is awesome, too, can´t wait for the next one :D
And since you mentioned Vigilant at the end, could you maybe make more videos about ongoing projects? I´ve seen that the creator of Vigilant has two more mods, Unslaad and Glenmoril, but I´ve seen no mentions of them in any modlist vids I´ve watched so far. Seems a shame as Vigilant is and prbly will forever be the best questmod for Skyrim
MajorMoron it was really bad compared to the original or any quest mod in fact.
Legacy of the dragonborn. Hands down the best mod for a completionist and lore enthusiast
To this day I haven't finished Skyrims main story and now I see this
I remember the midnight release on 11-11-11 I was SO stoked to have it in my hands!
Enderal...wait, a DLC for a MOD?!?! What kind of dark magic is this?? That sounds AMAZING!
It's so big, it can't be on xbox, only PC, which sucks
@@prometheuslens7825 there are far more limitations to consoles. SKSE is required and Enderal is using a ton of SKSE plugins which will never work on consoles :/
Day 2 of asking for you to do best Companion mods, purely to shine a spotlight on Inigo
Yeah, Inigo is possibly the best companion mod I've ever installed
Just started a replay of Skyrim. I love this game so much!
I really need to try Enderal, I've been looking at it on the Nexus for a few months now not sure if I was ready for a new experience like that
It’s on Steam now as well. Also if you get the steam version, not only do you get the DLC, it doesn’t overwrite the Skyrim LE files(it just copies the Skyrim assets it needs into its own folder) so you can play both LE and Enderal without having to back up any files, etc
Forgotten City is actually only set like 10 years prior to the present. If you complete it properly, you get to experience the city in real time.
Spoiler alert...Enderal will depress the hell out of you.
in 10 years, we will have all 5 elder scrolls games just into skyrim
Moonpath to Elsweyr was the first mod I decided to install. That time I thought that mods spoil the unique atmosphere of the game and it’s a shame to use it.
[looking at the list of 100+ mods installed now]
Ahhh that naive kitten...
Wait till you reach 400+ mod territory lol
Been watching your vids for over 3 years and I finally subscribed.
You can play Enderal as a stand alone game on steam...so yeah not exactly a dlc
I would also like to mention Vigilant, a somewhat dark souls inspired mod (in terms on designs) and has you travel to oblivion where the majority of the mod takes place.
"I'm Elf" lol
This needs to be a series
On your next Skyrim video you should say Skyrim is large animals hunted for sport - aka big game
Dude your voice has such a asmr effect whenever I watch your videos my spine goes brrrrrrr
The mods are so large it crashed RUclips for me
forgotten city is one of my absolute favorites ever. i can always get behind a small sized mod with tons of depth and good voice acting versus large one's with little depth
I will still be playing this game when I'm 70. There, I said it.
Assuming computers still exist as we know them by then, I will too, God willing. :-)
@@ModdingNewbie I'm fairly certain someone will have created mods to run Skyrim on whatever system develops in the future. I'm also sure that Nate will do at least one video on it.

Kudos to Mebantiza for his excellent work on the upgrades with his Moonpath to Elsweyr Navmesh Fixes not too long ago. It is definitely a fun and unique diversion and looks great for it's age because of his talent .
I'm addicted to Skyrim 🥵🥴 real life just isn't as immersive anymore 🤷🏾♂️
Yes the graphics and character designs are terrible. And the storylines are ridiculous, having little to no direction. ( Life. Not skyrim. Skyrim is👌
@@inquisitorialllama638 not really. I agree with most of that, but the graphics are really good, the draw distance goes very far and there's a very high amount of polygons, it also has native Ray tracing! Plus it runs really well, even at ultra settings I'm getting infinite fps. Too bad my monitor can't even show me 60

You are my fav youtuber and I love the skyrim community imo it is the best gaming community
Spoiler Alert for The Forgotten City
How to Finish the Quest nearly instantly:
Kill the Jarl
Inlove forgotten citys virtue mechanics. Loved that
I personally found Moonpath to Elsweyr to be absolute dogshit.
Is it really bad or just decent-but-not-great? I was thinking of installing it :(
Once I get a pc ima mod this game till it looks 4K or better,
This game deserves it
Legacy of the Dragonborn is the best DLC sized mod
1001pierre meh
