That concert. The crowd. The age group and the way they waved their hands forward showed they were once a part of the 1980's X-Japan crowd. They have found their music wonderland again 40 years later. Thats a good thing.

Ama-te-ras is the supreme deity of Japanese Shinto. And she is the goddess of the sun.Shinto has 8 million gods. They are the top five goddesses. Indian rhythms and melodies are fused with rock. Tam's talent is amazing.⛩️🙏🗾
TAMU elevates this song to a resonance with me that I really enjoy. HARAGUCHI's bass line and then the tapping, really groovin' feelin that hard core, the guitar tones are sick, so crunchy and good and catch, nothing is overdone. there's a tribal feel to it, with such a happy vibe and then there's the vocals (Lead and backing) that are just so perfect. I almost NEVER enjoy screams, but MAYU is easily one of the best vocalists I have ever heard, especially live in person, amazing performer. She puts her heart and soul into every note. I love her style. This song is currently easily the one I have played the most from EVOLVE. awesome album, but this track man, hits me hard. love it.

On the stream this was taken from they didn't use that kind of slice effect to enhance the staccato section, and it sounded even better (IMO) than it does here with the processing they did in post.
And from that crazy speed section near the end back to the party bit, and Mayu morphs instantly from metal demon to smol dancey person.

The influences are there, Slipknot, Linkin Park and System of a down...and of course Nemo touch...tasty...very cool song...i like Alive from the album...please listen...

I think Mayu has the best high fry scream in metal. Lena Scissorhands is the only other I know of that comes close.
The title is the sun goddess of Japanese legend.
Nemophila is the sunshine of metal. Bright, beautiful, life affirming.

Yes, there was an Indian influence. Hazuki had listened to Bloodywood not long before.
great reaction and song. Nemophila still the all around best band in Japan IMO. Lovebites ,Hanabie,BabyMetal,Trident BandMaid etc. Like them all but Nemophila is still the one band I never know what to expect when they come out with a song. The one band IMO that cannot be put in a box. Not taking away from the other bands I enjoy them too but get more diversity in metal and rock with this band.
this song is just a vibe, in my opinion is a perfect mix of catchy, harsh and clean voice, groovy instrumental...
and her transitions clean/harsh are incredibly well done, she slides are amazing in and out are amazing

When the goddess Ama-te-ras hid herself in a mountain cave, the world lost light and went dark. Gods gathered together and made merry dancing to lure her out. Then the world recovered light.
This song single handedly fixes almost everything that has been wrong with the narrow mind of the (western) metal scene and fan base. I totally love this. It is modern, it's hard, it's sexy, it's dancy, it's not the same thing people have been listening to for 40 odd years.

Her screaming vocals have actually improved in my opinion. It's totally different from Dissension where she was a little screechy.
Nemophila: We’re going to write a metal song about partying and smiling, and we’re going to put some middle eastern style in there, with a catchy chorus, oh…….and put a pseudo disco beat underneath it.

As much I like this song, I would have preferred a real live version: The video is from a live show, but audio is the studio version. I am not a fan of this way to put videos together :(
