This is amazing, Mr Jimmy is basically a Page clone, Jason has the good DNA from his Father. But for me it really makes you appreciate how magical Robert Plant was to the Zep sound. Plant is so difficult to recreate.
Need to hear my friend Rich sing it. Keyboardist for Herman's hermits. His Cleveland band used to be a zeppelin cover band late 70s. Can still make your jaws drop when you hear them. (Rest in heaven sweet Wes)
James is amaxing compared to 95% of the jokers out there. Jason chose him for his accuracy, not the shaking his ass around with a wig and suspenders. James does the job like a champion.
@@joepinto509he only dsid that not to spund like a grumpy old man like he has ever 10 years yhat produces how many Zepp clones? The singer has the long range howel otherwise he sounds NOTHING like Plant. GVF SUCKS and no Zeppelin fans like or respect them. The song eriting os do weak it's embarrassing. Jason Bonham is with out a doubt one of the 5 best percussionist if not the best I've ever heard in my 69yrs on this on this planet PERIOD! COMANCHE OUT!!
Beautiful just absolute magic to my ears & soul! It sounds amazing! Love to each of you for making this dream happen & come alive! Real rock music! God Bless
I was at the Knebworth August 11 show 1979, Jason has got it spot on,,, Bonzo was totally amazing on Kashmir that night. In fact Zepp were on fire. There have been a lot of close 2nd s in my gig history but that show will never be bettered in my opinion. 👏👍
I was there too as a 17 year old I grew up listening to to my brothers albums honestly I was very disappointed thought they were disjointed and rusty still a big fan tho
@@paultoon there also working security..waiting for Rock and Roll and it was a mess with jimmy page off his face.so disappointed.the four would never play together again in the UK.
I always thought that John Bonham was the best drummer ever. However I saw and heard Jason Bonham 's Led Zeppelin Experience in Nashville, Jason is every bit as great as his father.
So INCREDIBLY PROUD of the lead singer, one of my BEST FRIENDS. Grew up with him playing his garage gigs before he hit it big. I always knew he would someday. He is so incredibly talented. I love you Mr. Dylan!!! You should check his art out as well. He’s amazing. Talented in so many facets!! ❤️❤️❤️
People don't realize how hard it is to play this slow and keep it steady. This is the SLOWEST VERSION OF KASHMIR I have ever heard! GREAT job, boys! 9:08
Click track for tempo" cuz all us drummers that channel the energy " put it down" & always kick it up a few bpm"s especially live" not so much in concert settings with orchestra" then you down shift a gear"
Jason your dad and the Zeppelin band would be proud of you . They (the Zeppelin band ) love you very much especially Robert ❤ Keep up the awesome drumming guy .😊
One of the HARDEST things to do is get props for your skills when you are the son of one of the greatest to ever play. Getting out of that shadow is nearly IMPOSSIBLE unless you are better. Jason is a BAD ASS drummer. His credits say all that needs to be said about how good of a pro he is.
I have seen Jason Bonham twice, He starts his shows by giving massive tributes to Dad, and playing family videos on the screen behind him, and your right he is a BAD ASS drummer. I have an autographed drum head he signed for me hanging in my office at home.
And the thing is, the reason he's doing this is to honor his dad's legacy. In interviews. He has stated that drumming was not really that big of a priority in his life, it wasn't until his dad died that he decided to start taking the drums really seriously again, because he wanted to carry on the family legacy.
How cool to see Jason honoring his father's legacy, his father looks down upon him with great pride. Also, glad to see Akio “Mr. Jimmy” Sakurai on the guitar.
@@rhythmista7707Jimmy is always clean. But he plays even the flaws if he is doing a recreation of a Page live show. Obviously, he is not going to do that in this band.
@@DaveClark-ib6sp No mistakes. He recreates the live versions exactly as performed. It's really an incredible story. I wish they would make the documentary "Mr. Jimmy" widely available or put it on a streaming platform.
I have another comment pls. I just spent my entire day listening to led zeppelin music!! I had no f××king idea this was coming.....thank you so much. Who knows maybe tonight when i close my eyes......hmmm. Ah...you figure out the rest. Peace love and flowers 😊
AWESOME!!! I only wish I could have been there to see this show. Thanks for posting the video!!! Post a video of the rest of the show, or other songs if you have them -- if you would.
I just wish that I could hear the ghost notes I see him playing in the reflection on the tympany. Live mix. What can you do? Jason is a MONSTER player!

Just saw these guys last night at Westbury Music fair. they were all spot on. close your eyes and you can hear the LP. POSSIBLY NOT THEIR FAULT BUT I EXPECTED TO HEAR SONIC BLASTING IN YOUR FACE ROCK AND ROLL, AND THAT DIDNT HAPPEN! i would give them a 3 and half star because of that. Worth seeing once if your a Zeppelin fan.
I was at the Knebworth show TWICE! cost £15 per ticket ( my weeks wages in 79' & still have my program ) Chaz & Dave opened up for them! Zep opened with Black dog and a Japanese girl gave birth in front of me during Stairway! It was soo hot i drank 5 tins of tango orange and never ever drank it again ! the whole weekend was an Awesome experience
I actually didn't care for the way Mr. Jimmy played Black Mountainside, it actually sounds better finger picked which was how I taught myself to play it. Not sure how Jimmy himself actually did it. That song was my introduction to the DADGAD tuning which "Kashmir" is actually played in. I actually taught myself the song in standard tuning and prefer to play it that way still but, these guys are great and love that they're keeping the magic alive!
The guitarist, just like Jimmy Page, is using an econo brand guitar for this song. A Danelectro. The same guitar company also made the Silvertone brand guitars that were sold by Sears Roebuck.
John Bonham's spirit is definitely channeled through his son. He is amazing!
Maybe cuz it's in his DNA.
I agree tho
Jason carrying on his Dad's masterful drumming! So happy I am alive to enjoy this! RIP Bonzo.
En la vida real es un cover
