      i dont think curry is an overall finals choker but i think hr had multiple stupid mkstakes in 2016 basically choking but ill call it brainfarts as he knows better and he shows it over and over again dismanteling teams in a fascinating manner... im a cleveland fan but i cantunderstand the ridiclius amount of hate he gets as he is one of the greats that carry the in my oppinion most fun to watch era in basketball history just enjoy the show and research before talking bull crab

      Dom2k I remember you making this vid during the 2016-17 season how Curry needs to take care of his 'terrible habit': ruclips.net/video/IE9vuVAOLvY/видео.html
      Do you believe that he has gotten rid of this habit? How will Curry be seen in all-time point guard discussions with his performances in the finals?

      Jericho X i would call myself a casual fan but i know he didnt choke he had some emberassing moments in the clutch 2016 and the fact that he had mor turnovers than assists in that finals series... he for his standards sucked in 2016 in 2015 he played alright and in 2017 he was his usualself... but i also think that the warriors coud have a damn hard time in the first round as the west plays really damn goldthisyear even the lower seeds... i think they will win the first round in 5 to 7 depending on the opponent they get.. but 2nd round will be damn close with curry not at 100 percent... we will see i only now that the playoffs this year are going to be lit

      We watched the same series right? Cavs defense has always been primarily focused on Steph. A lot of Steph's made FGs were from out dribbling the Cavs and pull up 3s. His rebounds you can't take away, and assists, he was passing to everyone. Cavs chose to let K-fucking-D to be open just to make sure Stephen didn't get a shot up.

    Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! Finally someone speaking the truth. Steph did not choke in any finals he was in. 2015, he's played well and his team took the chip. 2016, he was injured but still did the best he could but due to his injury he wasn't as explosive as he was in the regular season and his team lost. and 2017, he Steph over every person that guarded him, make them run in circles. He played them HARD! Oh, and his team won.... AGAIN! So enough of this "Steph chokes in the Final" narrative, he doesn't.

      KD had the exact same injury that Steph had the next season. Stop the shit. His 2015 series was okay. Not good, and anybody who claims they watched would know that. He had 1 superstar game, game 5. Game 1 he was good but not great. Games 2 and 3 he was being clamped until he told GS to set as many screens as they could to get Delly off of him at the very end of game 3. Game 4 he was average at best. Game 6 he was decent.

    • @somregularguy
      @somregularguy 4 года назад

      TRAM PHAN yet Lebron “choked” in 18 with 51 points? Curry faced a beatable team, even though I don’t think he completely choked, he still should’ve pushed that to 7 even if he didn’t win he’d still have an undeniable case of being clutch, let’s also not forget, I can’t remember what game it was, but he missed a 3 he made all season long to either tie or win the game in that series

    • @FoxyChariot
      @FoxyChariot 4 года назад +4

      Somregularguy I call BS. *Steph showed up in Game 5, tying the game when it counted.* That is *CLUTCH.* When the series was winnable he showed up. Why does everyone forget that? He hits the game winner in game 6 then what? He plays 1 v 4 vs the Raptors in game 7 because all of his shooting teammates are injured? This series is not winnable without KD or Klay. He knew it was futile. When Klay tore his ACL it was over. Raps could just leave Cousins or Iguodala open and triple team Curry at half court. Just like 2015 wasn’t winnable without Kyrie or Love but y’all love to pass LeBron but not Curry. Sure, man. Keep hating. Nobody says LBJ choked in 2018 tf? He was outgunned and outmatched just like Curry dragging the Warriors to 6 on crutches. Y’all LBJ fans delusional. If 2019 Raps are beatable no Klay no KD. 2015 Warriors are beatable no Kyrie and no Love. Shit 2007 Spurs are beatable no anyone. LBJ should have won that too by that logic. Hold this L.
      2016 remains Curry’s only bad series where you can say he choked. And he wasn’t 100% because he never did that again.

    Bro Steph Curry is so underrated now because Kd joined he Warriors. I would rather have Steph on my nba team than Kevin Durant. While some people would say otherwise, Steph is the greatest shooter of all time and he is an amazing dribbler, amazing at finishing at the rim, and finally a above average passer. Also even though he isn’t the best defender, he puts a lot of effort on the defensive end. I mean the year Steph won Unanimous MVP, he led the league in steals at 3.0 per game that’s more than anyone this year! Steph also opens the game up for other players such as KD. Now I know some people think Steph chokes in the playoffs, but that’s not true at all. (Thanks Dom for spittin the truth) The Warriors without Durant are better than the Warriors without Curry (And please don’t bring up the 73-9 season because the Warriors has a really good bench that they sacrificed for KD that year so just saying that is not my evidence) Bottom line Steph Curry is a once in a generational talent who is incredible, and I am just sad that he can’t show the NBA world how truly good he is because he sacrificed part of his role on a team because he is humble and values the team over individual success.
    Also great vid Dom keep uploading dem bangers 🔥

    The problem is that steph has never performed in the finals the way that he has performed during the regular season, so when he plays below the level people are used to he is seen as a ‘choker’. I think the 2016 finals performance has also depicted his entire playoff performance to many people who dont look deeper into the facts.

    2016 = he was injured, bad series
    2017 = almost averaged triple double. (27 8 9) Durant balled the fuck out tho so he got FMVP.

      Knicks 4 Life Just because that a player shows emotion during a playoff game* doesn't mean the player isn't hurt. Yes Curry dropped 40 on Portland and 38 game 4 vs. Cavs. People always forget that Curry wasn't supposed to be playing that many minutes and Shaun Livingston was ejected and up until the 4th and overtime he was playing horrible. He was 0-10 from 3 and just caught fire. He had inconsistent burst games in the playoffs to keep them in but, he was definitely injured. His own brother said he was getting treatment on leg like clock work on undisputed and if people really do there research coaches and people who are close to him were saying he was less than 70%. Chris Broussard everyone's favorite commentator said that he was told Curry was less that 50% in his 2016 playoff run and he also believes that Curry should have won the finals mvp in 2015.

  • @louisvelez40
    @louisvelez40 6 лет назад

    Steph Curry did choke in 2016 in the way his IQ was showing along with the fact that his ankle and MCL sprain made him less effective, he played well in spurts but not consistently the same player he was in the regular season. He couldn't explode or dribble past guys who he can do it with ease to. Even simple plays were difficult to make and he struggled. 2015 he played well just not as efficient in the finals and he had 2 bad games in Games 2 and 3. Game 1 26 points, Game 4 22, Game 5 37 and Game 6 25 and he made huge clutch plays and shots in those games. 2017 KD and Steph made it easier on one another. Curry averaged about 27 9 and 8 a near triple double so this myth that he hasn't played well at all and is an all time choker in the finals is ridiculous, hes played better than people give him credit for in their 2 finals wins in 2015 and 2017 but 2016 he did choke.

    I think the reason people say he is a choker has everything to do with the 2016 finals. Same as LeBron, which was known for being a choker for the majority of his carrier due to the 2011 finals. It took a lot from LeBron to rebound back from that narrative, and he had multiple finals MVPs... Because Curry has none of that, and he is the only unanimous MVP in history, people expected a lot from him.

    so in a finals where the other team were without 2 of their best players, he was outperformed twice by a roleplayer so much that they decided that they gave the mvp to iguadala. the second finals he just cheked, and the third he was outplayed by his teammate in a team thats regarded as the best ever by some. An ankle tweak that wasn't even important enough to warrant surgery on in the offseason will not change your shot or drop your basketball IQ down 50, choking does but Curry did come back the next years finals though I doubt anyone would still be a choker after going to 3 straight finals and having a teammate like KD to bail you out when you do get cold or lost on court.

    Steph's play in 2017 was overlooked by the fact that Durant was on the roster, and the fact that Golden State was now a super duper team. Nobody really cared how Steph played anymore.

    It seems like you really do hate LeBron when you make videos like this, and the one about MJ being better, and the fact that you're a Celtics fan.

    The reason steph didn’t win Finals MVP those years is because he was playing so well or was being guarded so well (because he is great) that he allowed his teammates to shine, which is what a good point guard does!

    Steph is not a choker, but I think NBA fans wanna see him drop 40s and 50s, game winners and put on a show. But KD ruined that, since he does not need to.

    Just because that a player shows emotion during a playoff game* doesn't mean the player isn't hurt.

    This dude is the pomp pomp man for the LeBron haters. He talks about context leaves out the fact LeBron teammates was shooting under 20% from 3 on mostly open looks and LeBron was forced to score against Iggy who often got help due to the poor shooting. Curry plays subpar in the finals it's a fact. He avg 30in the offs then it goes down to 26 in the finals when it should be going up!
