2014 no player who loses the finals and shoots an in efficient 39% from the field deserves MVP . A lot of these stats you’re posting for Lebron came in garbage time in other years as well
nabil chowdhury I think it means he is saying finals like you did your MVP on the finals you don't need to win to get the award you got to be a MVP on the floor then everyone else
@Dominic dominic Demarcus couldn't even jump over a phone book. Iggy and Dray aren't even scorers, so Steph was the only scorer on the entire warriors team. So got doubles,\ and triple teamed as he crossed half court.
It’s crazy that we’ve been so hard on lebron for losing finals but, aside from his first two years with the heat, he’s been the most valuable player on the court in every finals he’s appeared in. I understand you gave it to KD twice, but honestly In terms of value, KD has steph warping the defense and allowing him to shine, and lebron was pretty much carrying his team. So I would say he’s always been the best player on the court if we’re just looking at how great of an impact he makes on his team.
@@semionjohnson1351 the point the original comment is making is that Kevin Durant had the easier role to play in both series. If you take him off the 2017 Warriors, I'm taking the Cavs, but it's still a competitive series. If you take LeBron off the Cavs, they obviously get swept with or without KD on the Warriors roster. Yes, KD's stats were nuclear in the 2017 finals, but LeBron still had only 1.6 fewer points per game shooting 55% from the field and 38% from 3, all while recording the first and only triple double average in the history of the finals.
@@semionjohnson1351 so it's a load of excuses when you tell the 2nd best player in the league, "go score," and the best, "go score, make the passes only you can make, and play elite help defense"? LeBron and KD have never been held to the same standard. I'm not sure how you can say someone who averaged only 1.6 fewer PPG while averaging about 5 more assists (which is at _least_ 10 more points generated), grabbing 12 rebounds per game, and recording excellent shooting splits and ultimately the first and only triple double in finals history is not the best player in a series. LeBron has always had more on-court responsibilities than KD (the only comparable occurrences being the 2014 season and the series vs the Bucks) and has never trailed KD by much in the one category of the game that everyone rightfully praises KD for: scoring.

I’d give 2018 to Lebron. Especially when Steve Kerr said that he was the best basketball player he had ever seen. Also when you consider he didn’t play for a lot of the 4th quarter in game 5 of the series
He didnt say that lol he said him and mj were the best.Hard for steve kerr to think that lebron is better when all steve has seen of lebrn has been losses in the finals and with mj all he was was greatness
Game 1 lebron was the best player 51/8/8 59% shooting. Game 2 kd was the best player 26/9/7 10-14 71% shooting. Game 3 kd was best player 43/13/7 65% shooting. Game 4 neither had great stats but kd had a 20 point triple double, was +30 on the floor, and won. Kd was better and fmvp sorry.
KD vs LeBron in 2017 was an All-Time matchup definitely. One guy put up 35 8 and 5 and the other 33 12 and 10. Too bad the Warriors were too overpowered
@@mac-gustavemulondak1679 right, because he definitely didn’t win the finals basically by himself 4 years prior and I’m nowhere near a Lebron fan but he’s not toxic
Wade shut not get Kredit for 2011 he was not that good and most defenetly not better than Dirk in that series becose Wade wasn't the main focus of the Mavs offens and Dirk was the only real scoring trath on the Mavs. Plus he almost choocked as much as lebron in the pivotal moments of the series plus he was a poor leader that jear. 2006 D wade just might be one of the greatest finals preformence of all-time. the only thing to argue against this preformence was the insane help he had from the refs
@@r3sgthepvs448 first off, terrible argument, dirk had a very good supporting cast that series, with terry and kidd, chandler... bron was ass, so that basically left wade and bosh. And wdym wade was a bad leader, he wasn’t the only leader on the team. And clearly didn’t choke as much as lebron, if you actually watched the series. These lebron fans crazy bro smh. Also, we ain’t talking about 2006 so that’s not even in the discussion
I remember that 2014 Finals Game 3 when the Spurs played perfect basketball scoring 41 points and missing only two shots in the first quarter AND with 9 assists. That was scary AF
Dirk's shooting percentage in the 2011 Finals can be slightly misleading. Yes, he shot 41% for the Finals, but that partially had to do with him tearing the tendon in his left middle finger during game one (which plagued him throughout the series) and his flu game where he shot 6/19. He was also the focal point for the Heat's defensive scheme. He was usually either double teamed or guarded very closely. Whereas Wade was part of a "big three" featuring the best player in the league and Chris Bosh. This allowed him to roam more freely on offense and do more damage. Wade had the better numbers, without question. Dude had an incredible series! But overall I feel that Dirk had to overcome more obstacles to get the results he did, which is why I'd allow him to keep his Finals MVP. However, I can see the arguments on the other side.
Dirk put the whole team that was playing like crap on his back and won a ring with injury and overcame adversity and intense defenses over and over and over again.. it was one of the most impressive displays of resiliency I’ve ever seen only thing I can think of that comes close is the cavs coming back 3-1
@@johnwick8516 Right, but you can't compare actual production while ignoring unique obstacles. Dirk was battling an injury in his hand, which affects his most valuable asset: shooting. He also had a literal flu game. Despite all of this, he still led his team and beat three other all stars while averaging 25 points a game. He was the finals MVP to most people watching that series.
Yeah I agree Dirks run was by far the most impressive and deserved the finals MVP. I also think because Lebron sucked in that series and lost all confidence in his scoring abilities D-Wade put up better numbers because he was the team’s best option. And before everyone gets mad at me Lebron did definitely bounce back but the series was by far the worst moment in his career.
Durant In 2017 arguably shouldn’t have gotten it. I mean even if he put up 55,47,93 shooting splits. He put up 35,8,5 on 55 where lebron put up 34,12,10 on 56 so... 2018 is a slightly better argument as their rebounds and assists were a little more compatible and he once again put up 50/40/90. Honestly I feel like atleast one of those years, lebron should have won
Ya gotta look at more than just FG% tho, durant's efficiency was wayyy better in that series. Of course it's because he was playing with other stars, but the bottom line is he had a better series.
Cole I’m 99.99% sure I mentioned durant putting up 50/40/90. So idk why you commented this Edit:yea I had his total efficiency up there and took that into context when making my final claim. I also took into account the fact he was playin with the 2 greatest shooters of all time which somewhat countered that. So yea I don’t get your point
@@tdl8472 While Durant had the favor of other stars that benefited his efficiency, Brons stats are also inflated (especially assists and points) as he pretty much dominated the ball the entire time. So he was "fortunate" to not share the ball with another ball handling superstar. That would have kept his numbers down a bit. So it evens out imo and you can justify it for either one.
2015-2018 bron is hella underrated, especially in the Playoffs. If KD did not join the warriors or if Kevin love and Kyrie did not get injure Lebron would be sitting with 4 or 5 rings. Game 1 of 2018 NBA finals would also have been more legendary if not for JR Smith.
I would give the slight nod to LeBron in 2018 despite it being a sweep. LeBron was a monster especially in game 1. If it hadn't for those wrong calls and the smith blunder back in game 1, it would be a more competitive series, maybe going 6 games, but the cavs would still lose regardless.
Steph gets finals MVP in 2015. He was more efficient and that's what matters a lot, and it wasn't a fantastically defensively physical series like the Lakers vs Celtics one either. Also when it comes to when Durant beat LeBron for Finals MVP(which Durant deserved) I am sick and tired of this whole "But the Warriors were so overpowered in comparison to the Cavs... and LeBron's supporting cast..." stuff. Let's look at the actual stats. 2017 Durant 35/8/5 Curry 27/8/9 Klay 16/5/2 Draymond 11/10/5 LeBron 33/12/10 Kyrie 29/4/4 Love 16/11/1 JR Smith 12 PPG on 58% from three When you actually put the numbers out there, you realize that the Warriors weren't "overpowered" people just hyped up Draymond because he was a good defender, but you put all the stats next to each other, the Cavs were an even matchup for the Cavs and the ONLY team that was as stacked as them. People got pissed because LeBron was no longer the only player with a stacked team, the Warriors matched that and beat the Cavs and all the excuses started. The Cavs were just as overpowered as the Warriors, and the better team won. Enough with the "It was LeBron against all odds" stuff and disrespecting what Kyrie did that series as well as Love. Stuff like that is the reason why Kyrie wanted nothing more to do with playing with LeBron. That played into the next season. 2018 Durant 28/10/7.5 Curry 27/6/7 Klay 16/4/1 Draymond 9/6/8.5 LeBron 34/8.5/10 Love 19/11/2 JR Smith 9.5 PPG On a surface level you can go "See! The Warriors were super overpowered" but then you forget the narrative, the media all year was saying the Cavs would beat the Warriors if they just got a 6th man and playmaker and a solid 3 point shooter and such. Well the Cavs at the trade deadline got Jordan Clarkson(6th man for the Lakers putting up 14.5 PPG prior to the trade), Larry Nance Jr (known for his defense and athleticism), Rodney Hood(who was putting up 17 PPG on 39% from three before the trade) AND George Hill that was shooting 45% from three that season.. and then on top of that, landed Kyle Korver whom was putting up 10PPG off the bench for the Hawks, and then came to the Cavs and shot 48.5% from three on high volume for them. So LeBron had a pretty significant supporting cast, and depth on the bench. Whereas the only depth the Warriors had on their bench was Shaun Livingston and Iggy(whom was not the defensive threat he once was). In comparison, the Cavs put a very solid amount of roleplayers around LeBron for that season and Kevin Love bounced back strong that Finals series looking like his Timberwolves self as they tried to beat the Warriors. Give credit where it's due, instead of going with the "But the Warriors had 10 superstars and LeBron had Smush Parker and Kwame Brown" perspective. Also back when Kobe had Smush and Kwame and couldn't carry the Lakers past the Suns, you didn't hear "Well Kobe has no one, it's not his fault." you heard "see this is why Nash is the MVP and Kobe isn't, Nash makes his teammates better and Kobe can't." as the narrative. But when it's LeBron no matter if he has two other superstars with him, when he struggles he "needs help". Just give credit where it's due. Nobody took credit away from the Bulls when Jordan won his first ring against an injured Lakers team, no one took credit from Detroit for sweeping an injured Lakers team. Nobody said the Celtics don't deserve credit when they beat the Lakers in 2009 because they didn't have Bynum or Ariza. Nobody looked at the Kobe and Shaq three-peat and went "Well that championship against the Nets doesn't count because their team was just so much stronger than the Nets....". Give credit where it's due and don't just flip the narrative cause LeBron loses.
Good solid points, 2017 was balanced, not 2018 though. The only superstar that helped KD was Steph, Klay is an all star at best and Draymond is an excellent ROLE PLAYER.
@@goated4718 Yeah precisely. In 2018 the Warriors were the better team and better structured team. But in 2017 the teams were evenly matched and the Cavs just got beat. People still not wanting to give credit where it's due is frustrating to say the least. The Cavs were also far and away the best, most stacked, and deepest team in the East in 2018, they just weren't a better team than the Warriors in the West. And yes, Steph and Durant were the Superstars, Klay was the all-star, and Draymond was the 'heart and soul' role player than benefited from the rest of the team. People that were acting like Draymond could go to a team and carry them to the playoffs and calling him the "4th superstar" were deluding themselves. Klay Thompson is another player that is an all-star, but he's not a superstar. So what the Warriors had, was a Western Conference equivalent to what LeBron had in the East when he won his Championships. Theirs was just homegrown and then a big time free agent signing(Durant) aka the dream of all those 'small market teams'. The truth of the matter is, the Thunder could have been the same kind of team the Warriors were had they never chose trading Harden over amnestying Perkins. Had the OKC Thunder kept their homegrown four(Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Ibaka). They'd have been "The Warriors" before the Warriors. But their front office made the wrong decisions, and the Warrior's front office made the right ones.
2018 should be lebron too tbh Kd put up reg season stats(for his standards) on a team with the other two best shooters ever so you couldn’t really double him Lebron was the only one that really mattered on his team
no way i can agree with any list that only analyzes pure stats without context of what was happening. For instance the year Iggy won finals MVP should clearly have been Curry winning it. You don't put into context the defensive schemes by each team. The cavs strategy was to always blitz and trap curry off screen actions and allow the others to beat them. Curry being very unselfish will quickly give the ball up letting his team play 4 on 3. This led to high team efficiency because of Curry's value and quick decision making skills though many times not leading to a direct stat. this held true in the years Durant won MVP as well as the Cavs strategy remained the same blitzing curry as they thought getting the ball out of his hands was their best opportunity, allowing Durant to find himself in many 4 on 3 and 1 on 1 situations which probably is not a coincidence with the high efficiency. But back to before Durant Curry easily should have won that first MVP dealing with double teams all series while still putting up a good stat line. Lebron on the other hand put up some ridiculous counting stats but the Warriors strategy was the opposite staying home on every player to not allow them to get going while allowing Lebron a 1 on 1 matchup the entire series. As a testament to Iggy Lebron's shooting efficiency was terrible and led to terrible team efficiency. Though Lebron put up huge stats his team posted numbers well below average.
But then you get into a the conversation of, “did this player’s huge stats prohibit their team from doing well, or is the team just that bad on their own” I mean, when you’re second best scorer is Mozgov, you’re team isn’t good, and won’t be able to compete with a finals caliber team. Lebron has put up huge numbers no matter where he goes, so how could his huge numbers all of a sudden caused his teammates to perform poorly? Good players do well with what they receive and even with LeBron outlet passes, they couldn’t shoot well. A player can only be at fault for passing if it’s either: a pass with the clock expiring, or passing when they’re wide open/have an easy path to drive. “Context” has a just a code word for narrative like half the time, because if having teammates that suck regardless of what you do can bring down your odds, anything can. LeBron didn’t prevent the Cavs from scoring, they just suck and have won like 40 games in total the last two years without him. Also, if you can shit on someone because they’re team can’t shoot well, you can shit on players who did really well because the rest of their team was that awesome. For example, “context” shows that KD was only as good as he was because of the splash bros being next to him, and on any other team, would have seen drops in all categories because he could be double teamed. LeBron overachieves with teams who aren’t that great without him, that’s value
@@holdenfegan1613 Except your are still not addressing the fact that he was woefully inefficient in that series, shooting below %40, a terrible 3pt percentage, had a high turnover total, and a huge usage rate. If you are using that much of the percentage and are playing at that inefficient of a level than your team will struggle not matter what caliber of teamates. Also if you go back and watch the film you will see him in single coverage the vast majority of the time. If he would have been more efficient against the single covers it would have forced the double teams and opened up his team for much better opportunities. On the flipside Curry was forcing help on the majority of his touches and look how many wide open good looks and rim runs it led too. That is Value. Lebron is Amazing and deserves some finals mvps, but not this one, Sorry. Curry was by far the most valuable player in that series.
BQ PRODUCTIONS I agree on the high turnover rate and poor 3. LeBron should have still been able to pass to teammates a little better and he should’ve stuck to what makes him great, his inside scoring. But when you’ve got ass teammates, sometimes you gotta carry when your second best teammate has zero all star appearances and no votes for any accolade, who’d be the 6th man for the other team. LeBron was charged with sailing a ship without its cannons and sails and expected to go against the Queen Anne.
I would honestly give LeBron 2014 and maybe 2015. But 2017 and 2018 I would give it to Curry over KD. Curry was drawing 7 TIMES AS MUCH DOUBLE teams as KD and still almost averaged a 30 point triple double as a PG.
2012 goes to KD in my opinion, considering the lack of spacing and help from harden its remarkable how efficient he was while outscoring James. Lebron is generally a more efficient player since he averages 50% for his career and it makes sense because he takes almost all his shots in the paint, but that makes KD's stats more impressive since he outscored LeBron while being like 7% more efficient, KD was also 23 and had less help than LeBron.
It wasn't that Harden didn't play well' the refs kept calling fouls on KD and Harden. The refs made sure the heat was going to win that series. Everytime okc drove hole, the whole heat team would flop. The refs would call charge everytime. The refs might as well wore heat jerseys
@@l9ikjam bro refs have helped lefraud through out his career, dont forget game 6 suspension of draymond plus curry fouling out the 3-1 lead comeback was not possible without all the help

Can we just agree that lebron averaging a triple double in the finals against arguably the best team ever being the warriors might be the best finals performance for awhile
2017 has to go to Lebron when you take the games into account, his efficiency was higher because the cavs defence was not as great, Lebron had a very good series and he should have won it with that triple double average with plus 30 points.
I respectfully disagree. I live in the Bay Area and I remember that series like it was yesterday. None of the Cavs had an answer for Durant, he overpowered them. Go back and watch game 3 in Cleveland, Durant clinched the game by himself.

Jshon Smith not going to lie, I didn’t pay attention to the 2019 finals, if we’re going with the same logic with this formula in the video and Curry was the best player, then yeah, I’d give it to him.
Nah I'd give 2012 to KD. 2015 to Steph because Lebron wasn't too efficient in that series. With a injured kyrie and love, he obviously had to score more. I'd give LBJ 2018. 2015 cannot be LeBron. I would say Curry. 39.8% is just too low to be considered the best player. At that point your % is just bringing the team % down.
I'm sorry but I have to highly disagree with the Wade pick, if you can argue that Wade was better than Dirk that series on that superteam then that just makes the case for Dirk being better than him THAT MUCH better because he still won as the lone all star on that team. Other than that I'm fine with the rest of the picks, 2017 could have been LeBron but I'm fine with KD taking it, and 2018 it could be KD LeBron or Curry and I'm fine with any 3 of them taking it.
2015 I gotta disagree with. If lebron was more efficient or if they got to a game 7 then I'd agree, but lebron didn't even shoot 40% from the field. He was essentially just shot chucking (I don't blame him as there wasn't really another quality offensive player to give shots to) he shot almost 33 shots per game, so that 36 ppg average isn't quite as impressive as it seems in the box score.
He was the best because he beat Bosh Wade and Bron without no All star. That argument is antics, and is not used to decide in this video. This video is what individual player was best based on stats and overall contribution, not who else was on the team.
@@nagboinfi Dirk was clearly the best, if there was a player who’s overall contribution on the Heat was bigger then they would’ve won with the talent they had
The problem with the video is that it leans too heavily on average stats to determine who was the best player in that series. What if a player's contributions went beyond the stats (e.g. Iggy's D, Durant's timely shot-making, Lebron's heroics) or a player's Final averages look bad because of just one bad game in that 7-game series? I watched all of these series: - Kobe was not the best player on the floor against Boston. Not only was his average FG% incredibly low, but he shot horribly in Game 7, when he was needed the most. I'd give it to Pau Gasol. He was better on average, had less variance, and shot a bit better than Kobe in the last game (Kobe was 6 for 24!). - Every time against Durant, Lebron had a better series. He was more involved in his team's offense, played better D, and had better numbers. Durant didn't have to try hard to do well, since the Cavs couldn't D him too hard and risk leaving Klay or Steph open. He had an easy time, which inflated his numbers. - The rest are ok.
2016-2018 were a couple of dark years for NBA fans. Never felt more pointless in watching basketball when Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, even as a KD fan.
Lebron deserves it I’m 2017 and -2018 come on now lebron’s stats where better in each series and you had said “the best player on the court” that was bron
Agree with all of them except 2017 and 2018 shouldve been lebron people underestimate how much playing with klay and steph inflated kds numbers especially efficiency
@@samikpartha4474 ikr even 2017 when the cavs were the same as 2016 and supossedly a 'big 3', lebron still averaged a VERY efficient 33 point triple double but was apparently outplayed by kd who had unlimited spacing and a majority of the double teams were on steph. he had a similar stateline in 2018 but this time with 84% ft which is a peak for him
Man, KD was so freaking good in the 2010s, it just makes me mad that he going to the Warriors changed the way we see him, since his play changed. He was still incredible, but if I compare those years with say, his 2013-2014 season, I get kinda sad that we didn't continue to see that. It just got too easy (for lack of a better expression). Also, I missed the 2016 Warriors style of play.
LeBron should get 2018 fmvp by this format, not only did he have better numbers but also comparable efficiency even though he played with a bunch of bums while KD played with the 2 greatest shooters of all time
@@cultok Defensive impact, playmaking outside of just assists, opening up the the floor for teammates etc. Even things like efficiency that can be much better tracked with other more advanced stats like true shooting percentage instead of field goal percentage, or using per possession or per minute stats instead of just per game which is subject to the number of minutes a player plays or the pace of the games. There are a ton of important things in basketball that should be considered outside of the simple traditional 5 box score categories and field goal percentage. The 5 traditional box score stats can be very misleading and are not necessarily accurate representations of a player's contributions.
Jon Dunn how does dirk easily get that mvp over Wade when Wade had monster numbers which was needed since his superstar and supposed to be the best player in the league played just like a good starter at best
Dirk was the hero of that finals. For sure Wade was all over the floor carrying team. He did also have some help from bosh and chalmers when it matters. But Dirk took the ball and delivers. It was the climax of a great movie and the hero may not always be the stronger character. He just outplayed the villains. Truly underrated performance.
its interesting that you mention lebrons heavier load in 2015 finals due to injuries and being the only "star" on the team. WHile the same thing can be said about dirk in 2011. He was the focus point of the heats defense and with context the numbers still look very impressive, while wade was the second option on a team with 3 great players. I usually can get behind your arguments, but i think youre just wrong here. Wade played great but WITH CONTEXT Dirk played better.
I have to disagree, Lebron was no star that series but Dirk had three "stars" even if they weren't they were in that series while Wade did a carry job. I see what u mean and I'm fine with that argument tbh it makes sense but its just 50/50 but yeah it could go either way depends on opinion

Considering Lebron averages a triple double on 55%+ shooting and 32+ PPG is just ridiculous
LeBron's defense in 2016 Finals covers the entire court.
Couldn’t said it better
The facts or the facts tho ? we are comparing actual production

So idk why you commented this

2015-2018 bron is hella underrated, especially in the Playoffs. If KD did not join the warriors or if Kevin love and Kyrie did not get injure Lebron would be sitting with 4 or 5 rings. Game 1 of 2018 NBA finals would also have been more legendary if not for JR Smith.
best lebron version
This is a fantastic series! Great fun and highly educational!
2017
Durant 35/8/5
Curry 27/8/9
Klay 16/5/2
Draymond 11/10/5
LeBron 33/12/10
Kyrie 29/4/4
Love 16/11/1
JR Smith 12 PPG on 58% from three
When you actually put the numbers out there, you realize that the Warriors weren't "overpowered" people just hyped up Draymond because he was a good defender, but you put all the stats next to each other, the Cavs were an even matchup for the Cavs and the ONLY team that was as stacked as them.
2018
Durant 28/10/7.5
Curry 27/6/7
Klay 16/4/1
Draymond 9/6/8.5
LeBron 34/8.5/10
Love 19/11/2
JR Smith 9.5 PPG
On a surface level you can go "See!
You didnt just say the 2018 cavs were a good team and were comparable to the warriors
This has to be joke right😭
This man really compared Kevin love and Jr to Steph curry and Klay Thompson 😂😂
Eyyyy, new Johnny Arnet series, I'm hype

The Lakers got 21 FT attempts in the 4th quarter alone in 2010 when Celtics was winning in game 7. The refs helped them win
😂😂Don't let Lakers fans here that
no way i can agree with any list that only analyzes pure stats without context of what was happening.
Someone who actually knows his/her stuff.
Burat
KD is far more efficient than Lebron. Lebron’s never even shot 80% from the ft line.
So 2017 goes to Lebron
But we are talking about just stats. That would be also looking into the narrative.
It wasn't that Harden didn't play well' the refs kept calling fouls on KD and Harden. The refs made sure the heat was going to win that series. Everytime okc drove hole, the whole heat team would flop. The refs would call charge everytime. The refs might as well wore heat jerseys

Nah I'd give 2012 to KD. 2015 to Steph because Lebron wasn't too efficient in that series. With a injured kyrie and love, he obviously had to score more. I'd give LBJ 2018. Also, unless they're offensive, rebounds are a bit overrated in this era so Im not really impressed by that stat line as a factor in any year during this era.
@@whiteblue3576 stop. 2012 was clearly lebron
lol 36-13-9 and you gave to Curry???? Curry's game score was 17.9 and Bron's was 24.6 no close its Brons. Also in 2012 finals Bron had more game score and better stats other than fg@@whiteblue3576
Doesn't surprise me much. Pretty good video!
This videos are so good!
I completely agree with you on D-Wade getting finals M.V.P that year they lost to the Mavericks because he was balling out that year
Great video!!
Lebron was easily the best player on the court every single series since 2012 including the KD matchups.
He was always better than kd
2014 17 and 18 weren't competetive Finals. So slot of a LeBrons stats simply had no impact on the game
Dwayne Wade in 2011 was pretty much the best player in the series and he had a pretty underrated series that a lot of people forgot about because they Lost to the mavs
Or maybe because in the 4th quarter he faded when the game was on the line and struggled. Whilst Dirk delivered in the 4th despite having tendon problems with his finger and the flu game.

2017 and 2018 should also go to LeBron, especially the 2018 one.
I have suggestion after you're done with this series. Postseason MVPs from every decade. Basically the best player from every post season
Who else though that LeBron is going to get the MVP before they watched this video
Edit:Thanks for 30 like
Nah
The main take from this video is that if you only look at stats you can't really understand a sport, but thanks for the work you've done
Jonny i still don't understand how u don't have 100k amazing quality videos u literally the next JxmyHighroller keep up the good work love ur vids
lebron should've won in 2014, 2015/2017 and a DPOY in 2012. Plus a bunch of regular season MVP's
Can you make a series where the mvp is the best players in only the playoffs??? Please
Like the series and the work you do 🔥 keep up the amazing work💯
Definitely Manu in 2005! Love your series, dude keep it up
2017 was clearly LeBron James. Because he did average the only Finals Triple-Double.
2017 and 2018 goes to Bron as well.
Of course!!
to say that Dirk wasn’t the best player in that series is BLASPHEMY, he was so clutch and led them to victory
If were being real lebron could of won finals MVP every year from 2012 to 2018
😂😂😂Facts...
We never blame Kareem, worthy or Magic for their stats even though they played on a stacked team, but most people do this for Durant.
2017 and 2018 the mvp should of definitely been lebron.
Nah lequeen sucks
@@silent6898. just like you're Mom
@@youngbarrel-roll4649 lol no need to be sensitive
2018 should have been LBJ not 17
@@silent6898. lol you're the one that being sensitive.
Crazy to think Bron only averaged 4 assists a game in the 2014 Finals....
I watched all of these series:
- Kobe was not the best player on the floor against Boston.
Facts
2016-2018 were a couple of dark years for NBA fans. Never felt more pointless in watching basketball when Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, even as a KD fan.
happysmileyz this a dumbass statement say that to the bulls who won almost every year even more than the warriors
Lebron deserves it I’m 2017 and -2018 come on now lebron’s stats where better in each series and you had said “the best player on the court” that was bron
Nothing better than starting up a new Jonny Arnett video and hearing that sweet intro music
Agree with all of them except 2017 and 2018 shouldve been lebron people underestimate how much playing with klay and steph inflated kds numbers especially efficiency
Facts
KD wrecked the NBA for those Warrior years, sad!
personally i think lebron should’ve won finals mvp in the 2010 series. He didn’t play but he’s just built different.
Jude because he’s built different
Jude it’s a joke ....
Trevor Benson that was a dumb joke tho Why would a Finals MVP go to someone who isn’t even in the finals?
LeBron should get 2018 fmvp by this format, not only did he have better numbers but also comparable efficiency even though he played with a bunch of bums while KD played with the 2 greatest shooters of all time
idk man lebron is pretty consistently the best player in any finals
Again and again thank you for making
this video
Considering the formula used in this video, I would give the 2018 FMVP to LeBron but I understand the decision of KD keeping it.
Yeah same lebron in 18 for sure not even close but same way in 2017 Kd won it by far
07:06 LeBron shot 57.1% in the 2014 finals, not 52%. He however did shoot 52% from 3.
This guy basically just gives it to who has the best per game stats without taking into consideration context or other contributions.
He was right for every year tho
@@matthewvalencia3694 Definitely not for 2011. Dirk easily was finals MVP and the played the best in that series.
What other contributions do u mean?
I wholeheartedly disagree with 2017 and 2018. Lebron was the best player in each year.
Which I would say to that boo you sir for being sor correct.
Soo correct
People are going to use your vids to back up the LeBron G.O.A.T. argument. At least I will 😁👑 great work appreciate it 🏀
its interesting that you mention lebrons heavier load in 2015 finals due to injuries and being the only "star" on the team.

And 2015 the best finals performance I've ever seen my player on the losing team
I think the 2017 finals mvp should be lebron and 2018 KD. The triple double from lebron was just ridiculous
In 2014 finals,Kawhi had monster games 3-5 and when he guarded LeBron he had 10 PPG with 3 tournovers and he was leading scorer scorer on Spurs.
