Thank you so much for this video. My husband and I are in Merida now and are enjoying it. However, we just came from Oaxaca which was so beautiful... very colorful, the Oaxacan food was beyond delicious and there were so many things to do. My personal problem there was that it was too cold for me ( I am extremely cold intolerant ). I just know you guys would love it. Give it a try on your next trip to Mexico.
Oaxaca is definitely on our list. We have heard so many good things about the beauty of the area and the friendliness of the residents. Thanks for the recommendation and enjoy your time in Media!
@@TrekkingwithDebandMike It really is a great city and we'll be back. Especially with the rail that Mexico has built that makes it so easy to get there.
@@dh2392 Yeah, Deb's a Toronto/Maine girl so hot and humid is not her favorite. The adventure of swimming in the Cenote was definitely worth it, though!
@@seananddebgooh, I would visit, but living there wouldn't work for me. I complain about the heat and humidity in the Seattle area. I prefer Astoria Oregon's weather where even the summer temps are in the 60's and low 70's.

We lived Merida even in the heat. We took a bus to Campeche and Progresso. So much to do mostly at night. Sounds like a great plan.

Too hot and humid for a PNW boy.
