Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the greatest, most electrifying dunker of all time. He wasn't just a dunker, but was an offensive force in his first 12 years. Vince Carter is the reason why I still watch the NBA today. Let's appreciate his legendary career while it lasts. VC = LEGEND AND H.O.F.
That dunk on Alonzo Mourning where Vince has to turn his body is my favorite dunk of all time. My boy Zo has to literally catch his breath on the sideline and wait for his soul to re-enter his body.
Cute, comment kid but Titanic wasn't in cinemas when Vince entered the league. You could have said The Matrix or Fight Club, but not Titanic. Also, Walkmans were already on their way out. Discmans where the thing to have back then.
Just making a point. Dont remember much from 3rd grade, so had use whatever was on the '98 wiki. Have to watch fight club again soon though. Thx for the reminder
The only person I wouldn't mind joining the Warrior's for a guaranteed ring, he deserves it, but props to him going out like a G staying true to his self and the way the NBA was back then.
He says that he plays not to get rongs but just to keep playing. He doesn't mind playing for a weak team as long as it can use him and he gets playing time. Also, the salary is still high even for the minimum lol
The bad alley-oop pass against The Clippers is the greatest in game dunk of all time. He demoralized them, The Raps came back and Carter won the game on a buzzer beater.
@@nacspazo7894 O shit this was 2 months ago. I'd hear an argument for guys like Pippen and Russell but they've got so many other great parts to their game, just let my boy Ben have this
crazy VC at 41 is in far better shape then when he was 32-33 on the magic. ever since he went to the bench he's happy and you can tell. he never wanted to be the man. once he hit the bench the pressure was gone. 8 years later he's still ballin
Through this video you can understand how the time runs..watching him dunk from 1998 until 2020.. Pfff he was awesome player and dunker! Thank you Vince!
I've always said it and I stand by it in 2019. Vince Carter was the Barry Sanders of the NBA. Carter's talent, Like Sanders, was simply not bonded with the right ingredients to get either athlete a championship. But, you put a god among men, and you only shine brighter and brighter. Mr. Carter was something out of this world.
Half-man, half-amazing, Vince Carter doesn’t care who’s at the rim, how tall they are, how big they are. All he sees is the rim. He would poster you no matter what. Truly the greatest dunker of all time! What an absolute legend!!
The behind the back and then dunk on Alonzo Mourning might be the best in game dunk of all time... I believe that was a playoff game as well which makes it even better.
Favorite Dunker of All - Time. And he is also one of the Top Three Point shooters of all time. Watching his later years and seeing that his head was no longer reaching the rim made me a bit sad but that's life, older you get things don't work as well. Nevertheless he was the perfect embodiment of the " Raptors " at that time. Fast, Explosive and Athletic. Certainly in my personal Top 5 players of all time.
Ah, that was as much fun as I hoped. I never followed Carter as an NBA fan, but I've seen his dunk contest highlights. I like his in-game dunks better.
the fact that he used to put so much stress on his knees with all these gravity defying dunks and can still compete at an effective rate at 42 years old is unbelievable
Dude will be 60 years old and still have a better vertical than me.
he came from 45" when he was young to 35" now?
sad,mam!
mahmoodreza vaziri 43
Start working then
43 yrs old and still playing💪
If dunking was a religion.. Vince Carter would be God...!
Astgfirullah
😂😂😂
Zion would be jesus
Dominique or Dr J would be Jesus. Not Zion.
@Duncan Elms Agreed, and Zach LaVine would be the high priest
2000-2002 must have been difficult to choose
Hudsanity that clippers alley-pop was a no-brainer. The other two years is a toss up
vince carter is to dunking like steph curry is to 3 pointers, plenty of people have done it, but NOBODY does it how they do it
Nobody...
Vincesanity half man half amazing skywalk
Leeeeegggggeeeeennnnnddddd
Vince Carter is 7th all time for 3 pointers just so you know.. He’s kinda good at them

VC was doing dunk back in the day we still havent seen today...greatest dunker of all time
The crazy thing is Carter can still bounce for his age 🔥🔥
And he also adjusted to his age and body very well. That's why he's still playing.
Still got better hops than Melo
Most people think VC in 2K is virtual currency but in reality its Vince Carter.
Corny asf
Nah I really did though

Ah yes I loving buying my Vince Carters
damn dirk and vince are the last legends of the 2000s still in the league let that sink in

Tony parker,lebron,d.wade ???
4:04 I love this dunk because the scream Vince Carter does and the bench reaction.
The year Vince Carter entered the NBA i was watching this brand new movie named "Titanic" and listening to music on my walkman.

No more guaranteed rings for the Warriors. No one knows who'll win this year.

Vince the great carter.
i watched his performance on 2000's slam dunk champion wow 18years passed he is still my favorite

Ced Cuddi he still can do it
I can see it already

Best dunker ever and it’s not even close. Never forget the best dunk ever for USA
It's pretty close. MJ, Dominic, and Kemp are all close as in game dunkers, and Jason Richardson is a better dunk contest dunker.
All time greatest dunker, and one out of three great players i looked up to when i was a kid. God, watching these gives me the chills. Ty Vince.
I know that it wasn't during the nba season, but I feel like the Dunk of Death should've been on here. He literally ended a career.

Bill Russell
jtcollins1990 Tom Brady

A high flyer with such longevity... I can only imagine the day he stops flying
One of the Greatest(creative) dunker of all time
One of the players that I personally feel lucky to have seen play this game. Vince Carter forever!
We see dunk highlights everyday these days, but his dunks are just different. His form is different and he stuffs his dunks with authority.
It’s actually crazy that some of his teammates were born after Vince was drafted
Who in the world (besides Frédéric Weis) could ever dislike this??
1:43 the turban guy is still there. The real OG.
VC’s my favourite player of all time
Hopefully we get to see him once more, if not, congrats on a great career, my all time favorite player.
