This is my very first game jam, Ludum Dare 44, which is where you create a game, and everything else in 48 hours! That includes code, music, art, sound effect, no sleep, loads of coffee, oof. It was a lot of fun, and I've always enjoyed watching other people's "Making a game in 48 hours" video, so I wanted to try it out myself. I hope you enjoyed it. The game I made in 2 days is called Fair n Square, and is an action shooter, with squares! The way I use the theme of Ludum Dare 44, being ""Your life is currency", is by selling weapons and upgrades at the start of the game. You have to buy them using your health.

I'll try uploading every week, but I'm pretty busy with university and part time job, so I won't have time every week. But I'll do my best!

I'm familiar with "git" for regular software development but I heard that there are similar tools tailored for game dev like "perforce"

Btw if you wanna prevent the corruption of you file, use a versioning software like git or I think that Unity also have one. With that you could easily take back your corrupted file :)

I have an idea for this:
A simple combat game with levels, except you buy things with your health. Hence, ‘your life is currency’
Sorta overused, and not a lot of innovation. Maybe he could take a spin on it and say that the more wealth you accumulate, your sanity goes down, and sanity acts as health.

Maybe when it comes to 2 player but the 1st player shooting control and aiming is by mouse, maybe still use a keyboard for aiming and shooting with the crosshair but aims automatically to an enemy if the crosshair is to the enemy or near to it, like one of the new control schemes in One Gun: Stickman. It could also have an option to make player 2 aim and shoot by using another mouse or by using a mousepad, if played on a laptop.
I would really like to see other youtubers playing this game cuz it just looks incredible(also could you please release this on xbox?)

Hahaha it was after the bluescreen when I started my pc again and the files were corrupt. Usually i havent had problems with corrupt files after bluescreen, but of course this time it ruined some of my files

A dungeon crawler where the only way you get items and buffs is by spending your health points, killing enemies gives 1 health back, stronger Buffs can cost up to 80 health
