Not for me... too much... noisy, crunchy, & not respectful of the sensitivity of the original artist's work. But it's subjective- if it does something for someone else- great. The vocals ofc are a great pairing; however... lacked nuance & sensitivity- I didn't pick up on a competition between the ladies, but they both were full volume all the time- so maybe it was there.
There's Emmylou Harris and there's everyone else who sings duets. She can fit her voice to any other singer(s) she happens to be working with. It's really quite extraordinary.

It is so refreshing when you see two female artists keeping their ego's in check and just so into each others voices and so focused on complimenting each others harmonizing. I look at the way Sheryl is just lovingly looking at and listening to how beautiful Emmy Lou's voice is and you can tell she's just totally getting off on trying to marry and dance her vocal part into it in a way which creates optimum equal sound. Simply gigantic and grandiose, this harmony of 2 TOP singers. I have adored Emmylou Harris since I was a teenager. Emmylou became famous in Germany with the song "Ce la Vie, Never can tell". That was in the mid-1970s. Country music has always fascinated me and although there are so many great artists in this genre in the USA, Emmylou Harris is the queen for me. Sheryl Crow continues this tradition. She could be the daughter of all the top stars in the USA - Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raidt and many more. I enjoy it so much when I can forget all the disasters that threaten people in this world today while listening to this music. We don't know what the future holds. People of my generation only wanted peace. We were able to live that for many decades. Nobody knows what will be on this earth in 5, 10 or 20 years. Why do people, especially the dictators of many nations, have to be so sick and disturbed that they only spread disaster on this earth?

God summoned this song as a prayer, as the intelligence of humans excels in humbleness and thanks to God for the skills to give praise to him. This statement is the recall of the trance I happened to be in whilst listening to these two Angels of God and a band of musicians that captures the skies and the silence. I have to locate the lyrics and test my coherence, otherwise, my emotional state has grown soft, older, and in readiness for completion of life's fulfilment. This song with the music combination touched my heart, and emotions and brought back the memories of my Little Yorkshire Terrier, Ruby, that suddenly passed away last December. Oh! yes, I feel so weak in my spirit yet the few tears have given me strength. Thanks.

And I had been so frustrated that I never knew the name of the song, I only knew it was Crow singing it with Harris and I only heard the chorus and I went under a spell. I am crying so hard right now because the day I first heard this song, my mother suddenly was hospitalized that day when I came home from school. She was okay after that but it scaresd me so badly because my mother is a strong woman. But this song was playing on my teachers television when my class and I had a 15 min free time. I had never forgotten it to this day. Now I found it and omgod I am frozen in my place at this moment 😢😢😢
