Wave of violent threats hit Texas schools

  • Just weeks into the school year, school districts across Texas are responding to numerous threats of violence from students and outsiders alike. Nexstar stations across Texas have reported threats to at least 20 schools just this month. KXAN's Ryan Chandler reports from the Texas Capitol on what lawmakers are trying to do.

    The schools also have the money....they get the majority of my property taxes... where is that money at how are the administrators using that money?

      Nah dude, for every tax paying adult there's probably a couple kids in public school. I'll agree on colleges having tons of money, but not public schools

    Texas goes easy on juveniles. Yes, they’re charged, but reeeeeally, it won’t stick. Maybe a fine. Maybe juvi time. That’s about it.
    If they do it a second time, charges/consequences should be more.
