very will kept nice Bullitt bro! I just bought a highlander green Bullitt as will and plan on rebuilding it since the owner didn't take much care of it. this is a perfect example on how a Bullitt should look!
Great looking Bullitt! I love it, very clean and in great shape. I have a 2003 Mach 1 but have always liked the Bullitts, it would be great to add one to the stable haha.
I ordered mine right from JLT, since they offered it in the factory color! Thanks, and I'm glad you liked the video. I was able to shoot it right before the downpour started!
I got the carbon fiber pieces online. They required a lot of work to get them to fit properly, but they were worth it in the end. It's ALL in the details!!
Dude this thing is Sick!!! I love your attention to detail and the paintwork is 1st class!! I just bought a true blue bullitt this past week, What awesome cars these are!!
NICE I just bought my 2001 bullitt for little or nothing (they didn't really know what they had) with 59k miles and need a paint job, obviously it sat out in the sun a lot so the top of the hood and top were faded along with parts of the trunk. I recently ordered the Raxiom stock smoked headlights, and rear smoked sequential taillights. Under the hood is fantastic. My dad and I had a little trouble when we first got it in November but it is running straight as of now. It is my first car and I have learned to respect it because it is a powerful machine! Plus all my friends love it.
Mine is the factory original. I didn't like the aftermarket LED lamps because they were too dim. I took a sharp knife and a Dremel and took all the guts out of the housing. Once I was done, I grafted in the LED strip from a Toyota Landcruiser third brake light (it was the perfect length) and I love it! It resembles (in intensity) the 03/04 Cobra lamp, but it fits perfectly and looks factory.
@@OhYeahAboutThat There is always limits on what we can get. I will probably end up with my Mach 1, a green GT Bullitt clone, and maybe a 04 Cobra convertible. But realistically buying a Cobra these days and auto swapping it is out of the budget. I would have to find one cheap and in really poor condition to keep the price down.
im installing pypes long tube headers right now , just got the ford racing exhaust gasket in , but as far as power just from headers is not a huge gain ,shorty headers are more for the track applications , long tube more for street applications , all depends on what your needs are , for me its just for sound , and im going cattless x pipe for a little rasp and more flow . all depends on personal perefence on the mid pipe ,
sounds good , yesterday we removed the stock exhaust, ready to install my pypes headers, after a little pressure wash , going to go with cattless x and slp loud mouth 2, my bullitt number is 833 I hope to hold on to it for a while, im sure yours gets alot of attention .
Thanks for the comment. I liked the non-catted X pipe, but it made the exhaust smell really bad. It sounded a LOT better, but I'm back in California and had to put the cats back on. The rest of the system is stock except for the Magnaflow Magnapacks.
I really like the color of your Stang. I painted my 1969 Camero Forest Green. During the day the paint was a dark green and at night it turned black, I liked it. Your car looks Custum Delux !
Thanks! I got the sticker from on in 60 seconds dot com. It wasn't expensive. You have to buy an iPod interface that plugs into the factory CD changer port on the back of the stereo. You can find them all over the place for sale.
Thank you for your nice comments. I sprayed it with an acid-etched primer before I hit it with a coat of satin black. Then, I sprayed a coat of black metallic. Finally, I sprayed several coats of matte clear (I think it was Krylon). It's held up very well so far!!
Yes, they lowered it a lot! There is a very big difference, especially in the front. I also went with 18'' wheels and tires, so I think that also helped to close the gap. Thanks for your comment!
Hey what's happening now that's awesome mustang bullitt now it's going to be difficult to find one & do mods on it & thanks for sharing your videos with me 🖐🙂
Hey bud I will post a video no problem when everything is finished. As far as hp gains from headers. Only about 20 hp . But with supporting exhaust mod I'm sure it will be a pretty big noticeable gain .
Hey sweet car man I was wondering about the springs...I am contemplating between the sportline and pro springs...do these make the car scrap or bottom out any? Also how is the ride quality with the sportlines? Thank you
Awesome ride! I work in the graphics industry - one tip, if you apply a bunch of carbon fibre vinyl try to keep the pattern direction consistent across all the surfaces, itll give the illusion it was all applied at once type thing. Maybe its like that already its hard to tell in the video. Well done, nice generation and model and customization choices.
Very gorgeous car. I've watched this video a few times as inspiration for a few mods on #5148 as well as getting #0539 back to looking as nice (paint-wise) as yours, although it is going back stock. How did you prep the pony in the mach 1 grille delete for paint? Scuffed at all? Did you completely remove the "chome" OE finish before paint? Then what brand of paint and clear coat did you use? Also, I know you got from ebay, but do you have any other info (brand) on your ipod interface? Thanks!
You've done quite a few new little details since your last update. Nice. I wanted to ask you how'd you get the ipod connection done? I want to do this to mine & would love to know. Thanks & good luck on moving.
nice bullitt bud , I myself own one of the highland green bullitts , question , how did you like the non catted x pipe , and what exhaust , any headers?
Man I love your car! I've watched this video to many times. Im thinking about installing fogs in mine. Do you know if the fog lights wiring harnesses are in the car? I've heard rumors that they are.
I love your bullitt. Its super clean, way cleaner than my gt. Which way did you run the ipod cable into the center console? I couldnt find a good way so i just ran mine into the glove box.
Did The Eibach Sportline lowering springs lower the car much more than factory? I have a builltt as well but im contemplating on lowering due to it already being lowered from the factory. Beautiful Car By The way!
such a clean freakin car man...like i just said omg every 2 minutes...lol this thing is so clean and nothing to crazy...just detailed little things i love....nice car man...i live in cali and im always at mustang meets...hope to see u at one some day
Yeah man not too far maybe 2-3 hours. I really like how you did the cf grill delete i really want to do that. Mines a sonic blue not sure if it would look good.
Wow dude I am in love with your car it is awesome, I have an 04 GT and your video just gave some great ideas. I wanted to ask you what brand is your ipod connector that does not require to modify anything from the car's original stereo, I just want it to keep it as stock "looking" as possible. Once again, great looking car, congratulations!
Kinda looks like on your rear one rear tire sticks out further then the other ones? I know it’s a common thing on all these new edge mustangs always one front and one rear, and you start to notice it when you put a wider wheel and when you lower then you will really see it, I can tell just by look at yours on this video
I don't know much about headers myself, but maybe somebody else that reads this might. You can change the throttle body and give the car a tune for a little more power.
You're welcome man! Aww man, we'll I'm guessing it was time to upgrade and move on.. Hey, real quick if you have time.. my grandpa is getting rid of his 04 black gt,automatic. I believe it is stock and I'm sure he doesn't beat on it considering he's 80. Is there anything I should look out for with a stang? Without guessing I know it'll be a hell of a difference going from a 3.3 Lexus to a v8 stang. One thing I'm concerned about is ABS and traction control, I'm hoping they come with this? Thanks dude
+D Drake it will definitely have ABS and traction control. Make sure the coolant manifold is not leaking coolant all over the engine. It's a pretty solid car!

this is probably the cleanest Bullitt I have EVER seen!

I towed it on a trailer.

Yes. Eibach is the brand and Sportline is the model. They also make a Pro kit, but those springs are not as low.
Wow! Such a clean Mustang! All of your mods are quite tasteful. Clean and simple. Very Nice.
Thank you very much!
I love this generation mustang, it looks chiseled, awesome car. that green was made for it.
I agree! Beautiful car. I love the back end, the way it's 'chiseled' as you say and without the spoiler this look really stands out.
I got the carbon fiber pieces online. They required a lot of work to get them to fit properly, but they were worth it in the end. It's ALL in the details!!
I had 2 2001 Bullitts in the past, your car makes me want them back!!!!..clean car buddy...
Thanks. You can get some simple plastic trim plugs from the auto parts store, install them in the holes and paint them to match. Lots of guys do that!
Words can't describe how much I love the car man!
Thank you!

That is an amazing car and very well kept hard to find mustangs like that in that generation
Thank you! I sold it to a friend and it’s still just as nice!
OhYeahAboutThat nice dude very awesome to see a car I saw as a kid 😎
Thanks I was thinking the 2" lip looked smaller but it looks perfect on your car ...thanks Brah
Thank you! Mine has about 64k on it now. I rarely drive it anymore, so I don't expect the miles to increase much.

yes do a quick search on all the different specs the bullitt has
cleanest Bullitt I've ever seen. Very nice work!
Thanks! I no longer own it, but it still looks just as nice!
Thanks. This car scrapes a little because of the chin spoiler and bullitt side skirts. I definitely like the sportlines over the pro kit, though.
You have to buy a modulator (there are many different brands for sale). There is a separate jack in the back of the stereo for the mp3 player.
All of the updates were very tasteful. Great looking Bullitt!
Thanks! It’s now owned by a friend. It still looks the same!
