A chronological compilation of Siskel & Ebert (and Roeper for one) reviewing the films of John Carpenter.
This was one of my earliest episodes from this series, and was desperately in need of an upgrade. (It's now more comprehensive than ever, featuring an extra 20+ minutes than the one before!)
From 1978's Halloween to 2000's Ghosts of Mars:
    0:51 Halloween
    4:19 The Fog
    7:03 Escape From New York
    10:32 Halloween II*
    14:40 The Thing
    19:27 Christine
    23:56 Starman
29:09 Big Trouble in Little China
    32:57 Prince of Darkness
38:09 Memoirs of an Invisible Man
40:53 In the Mouth of Madness
    43:34 Escape From L.A.
    47:10 Vampires
51:55 Ghosts of Mars (with Roeper)
Unfortunately, no reviews currently available for:
    Assault on Precinct 13
    They Live
    Village of the Damned
    * I included Halloween II because despite not being directed by Carpenter, he co-wrote and co-produced it (and they talk about the first Halloween in their review)
Primarily for educational purposes, but enjoy however you see fit!

Ebert's take on The Thing was the biggest miss of his career. Second miss was canning The Three Amigos. He just didn't get it at the time.

I grew up watching Siskel and Ebert. Great critics and I loved John Carpenter movies!

It’s common for people on the internet to say that critics hated “The Thing,” but Siskel liked it (Ebert didn’t)

Ebert wasn't doing the show by that time and if the successors covered it, I didn't see it

It's The Fog, of course it has a thin story. (Rimshot drum sound)

Siskel and Ebert were Chicago film critics who created a show for a local PBS affiliate that was then picked up and broadcast nationally. That’s why they became so famous. But they were never as respected by cinephiles as much as, say, Pauline Kael
