I loved this guitar but the neck was way too thin for me. Felt like I had nothing to hold on to, so ended up returning it :( (my idea of perfect is esp thin U, which I do recognise as being a little chunky, but so comfortable)
Top of the morning, maestro. What a wonderful way to start my day, listening to some tasty, tasty guitar playing. I must say them split coil tones are among the most satisfying I've ever heard. And, as always, out-of-this-world playing. You know, I can almost imagine you playing some Chet Atkins or Merle Travis with that clean tone you've conjured 💯
Thanks a lot for that demo! I'm hesitating btw epiphone mqtt heafy/ Jerry Cantrell prophecy / Ltd ec 1000 but I think this one is the most polyvalent to play metal but also clean jazzy sound.
I have esp ec-1000 fluence and it’s amazing. I also have a modded epi les paul custom (installed SD black winter blackened) that is very similar to the Heafy signature but without the fishmans, weight relief etc. I’d say if you like 24 frets on a guitar - get ESP, it’s much easier to access higher frets, and the overall shape of their guitars is much more modern and lightweight. Heafy and Cantrell models are more traditional - heavier and bulkier
Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins vs Epiphone Les Paul Custom Origins What are the main differences (trying to understand the $200 price difference, and accoedingly make a decision to buy one or the other..which suits me) Thanks
Heyman you are awesome as usual. I love your playing it's simply superb to listen to all your playing. Great explanations. Keep it up.❤❤❤❤❤
Blessings morning with your guitar play it's absolutely caffeine to jump all day long. Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤

I have this guitar, but I always forgot about the push-pull on the tone knobs 😅 should start messing around with them
