0:47 Unscrew seal cap and remove dirt inside
1:24 Let's test it before disassembly.
1:57 Unscrew bottom nut
2:20 Pull out cartridge body with bushing ring.
3:11 Remove guiding pins. Be careful, not lose em.
3:46 Remove bushing, seal and dirt oil.
4:07 For unscrewing bottom red cap I use ring pliers.
4:28 Bushing looks good... It's strange.
4:48 Seal cap looks like new.
5:58 Unscrew cartridge cap with old trusty ring pliers.
6:21 Pull out cartridge shaft.
7:11 Add some oil inside of inner tube of cartridge for remove it with piston shaft. Little trick ;
7:24 Pull out cartridge.
7:37 Clean inside of cartridge body.
8:11 Install secondary piston but oil it first.
9:00 Install inner tube. Be careful, upper side has little bevel.
9:30 Oil bushing and seal inside of cartridge cap.
9:50 Push piston inside of inner tube.
10:04 Drain excessive oil and tighten cartridge cap.
10:43 Clean cartridge out of oil.
10:59 I use big syringe needle and 10 bar of air pressure.
11:27 WOW! It's working! Look guys!
13:00 Don't forget to install seal cap!
13:43 Install guiding pins on tube.
14:23 Add little bit grease.
14:47 Install and tighten bottom red cap.

Hiya, I’ve got a KS supernatural, so a newer version of this, and I’m wondering how to re pressurise it, as I know you used a needle, as I’m also gonna go that way, but how did you make the seal between the needle and the air valve gun? Also it would really help if I could know what type of needle you used? Thanks for the help👍
Hello! There is no seal between needle and hole in the seatpost. Needle was used from a medical dropper set, which i bought in a pharmacy. Btw seal between needle and air gun was get from medical dropper set too. I hope this info will help you! Good luck, mate!
could i use a shock pump to add air? is there any special tools i need for the service?
If you can make airtight connection between shock pump and seat post, you can use your hand pump. I had use air compressor for pressurise seat post. And as a special tool you need a angular pliers to unscrew one of caps.

Hello. At the bottom nut, there are many holes and one of them is drilled through. This hole uses for pressurize the dropper. If you are talking about syringe needle, it is needle from venal dropper.

Hello, which side of inner tube goes on secondary pistol (bottom)? With notch or without notch ?
Hello. The end with notch must be pointed outside. Then you push piston rod inside.
AXRV88 Thanks . I can use 5W oil inside of inner tube, is it OK?
May be it will work. For this seatpost was used 7.5w oil
AXRV88 ok. How many oil you put on inner tube? I can not return push piston when I put oil on top inner tube. What is the problem?

Hey, curious as to how you charged the dropper near the end. Struggling to get mine done.

, For charging I use big air compressor which gives me 10 bar of pressure. I think inside of dropper remains around 5-6 bar because of bad sealing of charging port at charging time.
AXRV88 I’m also having trouble finding a needle that is small enough to go through the charge port. Do you have a link to what you used or a suggestion?
@@alexjones9882 Used needle was needle from venal dropper. Also you can use needle from syringe. May be a special tool is exist but i don't know about it. lol
How were you able to connect that venal dropper to a compressor? Is there a fitting that you used? Is the hole that you used to charge self-healing or how does the air stay in there once you put the syringe through?
Venal dropper was connected to the compressor by a short silicone tube. There is no self-healing hole. On inside side of cap is groove on which seat O-ring. When you put air pressure to hole in the cap, this o-ring stretches and let air in. After air pressure pushes on o-ring from inside and closes hole.
What's the tricks to remove inner tube? Very difficult to take it out!
It's not magic. Add some oil inside inner tube and push piston inside. If it will not work, i don't know how to remove it.

Hello, TheTest. I think 3wt is too thin. When you seat down on bike, seat may go down by itself. You can try to use 3w and write here a comment to help other bikers to know the best viscosity of oil for this seatpost.
@@AXRV88 thanks for the answer. The rockshox reverb uses 2.5wt so I thought maybe I can use 3wt for this one. I will try it and write again.

What oils did you use as looks like you used two types of oil
It was too many time ago, i don't remember these details. I always try to show materials which i use if it is important.
@@AXRV88 ok that’s fine you didn’t show what you used this why I asked but looking close at the bottle looked like fork oil
@@Soldierboy4219 Oh, it's definitely fork or shock synthetic oil. I had use only synthetic fork oil for forks, shocks and this seat post. I think it can be 7.5w
Доброго времени суток! Из моего подседела вытекает снизу масло. В чем может быть проблема?
И где найти размеры РТИ?
Масло специальное какое-то заливать или из автомагазина подойдёт какое-то?
Здравствуйте, Эрик. Масло необходимо заливать вилочное. Я использовал 7.5w синтетику. Размеры РТИ не подскажу. Если масло течет по штоку, то выньте из крышки шток и попытайтесь достать о-ринг который уплотняет шток. С этим кольцом сходите в автомагазин или специальный магазин специализирующийся на рти. Они скорее всего вам на месте подберут нужный размер по вашему уплотнению. В идеале снять все доступные уплотнительные кольца и сразу собрать себе ремкомплект.

Евгений, лично не сталкивался. Но судя по картинке, полагаю, что всё так же как и в этом, но перевёрнуто. К тому же нужна специальная рама, т.к. трос уходит в подсидельную трубу и для чего должен быть предусмотрен канал внутри рамы.

Hello. I don't know the size of the needle, but it was in medical dropper suite.
Use a Nitrogen Needle Fill Tool Adaptor or a blue, 22 gauge needle.

Сделал все как ты, но при накачке воздух не держит. Что за хрень? Все резинки в норме, порядок сборки не нарушал(
Возможно поврежден o-ring на крышке штока, в которой расположено отверстие для накачки. Кроме этого кольца, больше ничего не сдерживает давление внутри.
@@AXRV88 как вариант. Мне кажется что сечет с подсидельного клапана. Он разбирается, не знаешь? И ещё вопрос. Сколько пси качал?
Подсидельный клапан на воздух не влияет. Компрессор выдает 10бар, сколько осталось в подсидельном штыре остаётся гадать. На счёт разборки клапана, разобрать можно что угодно, но не всегда получается собрать как было. Скорее всего, головка штыря вкручена в сам его корпус, а клапан как раз в ней и находится. Если не жалко подсидел, как вариант нагреть горелкой и через специальную оправку попытаться открутить. Но тогда все уплотнения и пластиковые детали расплавятся.

You can buy a medical needle in a local pharmacy.
Tool you need is called a Nitrogen Needle Fill Tool Adaptor. Connect to shock pump and pressurise to 250psi
