It would be cool if you did Wright's Air Service in Fairbanks, which serves all of rural Alaska. They've got a great operation, bout this size if not a bit bigger.
I grew up in Minnesota and indeed I do know that the bitter cold can take your breath away, It just seemed like he was either at a high elevation or had breathing difficulties.
