Well, I did a quick search and I found out that they are in fact real cars. Dictionary.com defines "car" as noun 1. an automobile. 2. a vehicle running on rails, as a streetcar or railroad car. 3. the part of an elevator, balloon, modern airship, etc., that carries the passengers, freight, etc. 4. British Dialect. any wheeled vehicle, as a farm cart or wagon. 5. Literary. a chariot, as of war or triumph. 6. Archaic. cart; carriage. I would definitely classify this as an automobile considering my world experience, but I could do some more research on the matter if you would like. I assume by saying that these are real cars you mean they're opposing fake cars (I.E. childrens toys, models, displays, etc.). While it is true that these are in fact real, the truth of the matter is that a Toyota Prius, in all it's electric glory is also classified as a real car. I'm unsure if you were trying to insinuate that you are more inclined to this type of late 60's, early 70's muscle car, and if you were then that's your choice. I'm just here to confirm that they are, in fact, real cars.
Dickbutt Well, the 70s and 80s were bad for power, sure, but there were still great cars coming out in those decades. The 90s is when the V8 started to decline, and fwd was becoming commonplace. So many great cars got their balls cut off.
This is my dream muscle car. In high school my drummer rolled up to practice in silver/black 1972 Chevelle and we went for a joyride...that was it. Dream car for life. 13yrs later still no chevelle. :( I blame the economy! Lol. At least I have youtube and good speakers! :D
+WitherTux Very true, I love this Chevy too! :-) But, honestly, don't want to sound rude, but I don't like the place he recorded it at. :( I don't know why the Foreign Cars workers made him record this car or gave him permission to record it. Two things that I don't like about this video, 1. It's a trade in and 2. Chevrolet is NOT Italian, it's obviously American, so that's THAT!
last good year of the GM immediates before smog pumps, emission controls and quality started to decline, I also see more 1968-72 Chevelle's than I do with the 1973-77 Chevelle's.
I don't care what you'd take. It's your loss. I felt the same way until I got my 2013 GT 5.0. I had previously only owned and driven RWD cars with IRS, like the 07 350z that I had before the Mustang. The live axle in the Mustang is so good that you can barely even tell it's there. In fact, the car handles better than the Z in some situations. Forget whatever prejudice you had about solid axles.. most of the negatives either don't apply or have been minimized in the newer Mustangs.
They should bring back the Chevelle. I don't know how they would, or whether it would be a success or a flop, but I think it should definitely be considered.
I would totally agree with you. Seeing I have also experienced or encountered horendous problems with this type of engine when working with my dad on a couple of the chevy's we own.
Dude....that GrandPrixGT guy could be your lost brother. I totally can believe hes trolling you because his voice is really similar to yours haha. You're the best tho :D
These are REAL cars. So are modern muscle cars. But nothing can beat CLASSIC MUSCLE
Agreed!

You cant beat the sound of a 454
Holy crap, that exhaust note.....if you ask me, the 90s ruined cars.
And NOW, you can barely hear some cars. Especially Hybrids and electric cars.
Why the 90's specifically? What about the 80's or the late 70s?
Dickbutt Well, the 70s and 80s were bad for power, sure, but there were still great cars coming out in those decades. The 90s is when the V8 started to decline, and fwd was becoming commonplace. So many great cars got their balls cut off.

THIS. There's something about a car like this, that even Italian super cars don't match, and they're renown for their soul.

Last 72 Chevelle SS 454 270 HP
72 was first year for cats which basically cut the power in half. 71 was the last great year.
THAToneGUY594
First year for ‘cats’ was 1975
