  • Hi there
    I'm a BIG #olaplex fan. I've been using it since it's launch and I wouldn't colour hair without it.
    It makes perfect sense that when something is SO popular and successful, there are going to be "myths' surrounding it. In the video I shed some light on the 5 I hear most often...

    Hi Craig. On the day my highlight appointment, I do the 0 and 3 and it makes a big difference afterwards. My salon doesn’t carry Olaplex. Blessings!!! 💕

    I’m curious now, towards the end of the video you mentioned things than can weaken the hair again such as brushing, using hot tools, etc. which I do know. But I haven’t heard about hard water affecting the bonds in the hair. There is major hard water where I live, so I do have a shower filter (but it only does so much) and I occasionally use the Malibu-C treatment packets. Will using the #3 regularly help with this? And do you have any additional tips? Thank you!

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  3 года назад

      Hi there., thanks for watching.
      Yes, hard water can affect the internal hair structure - although, you’re clearly on it with a filter! That will make a huge difference - and No3 regularly is def the way to go.
      There are another couple of videos on here featuring Olaplex and my Instagram has more tips.

    Hi again Craig. This is a an off topic question, so here goes; I read that if you put a little salt in your shampoo bottle, It will help with oily roots and remove product build up. So, would the salt in shampoo affect hair color, like strip the color or fade it? I’m not sure if you know about this hack. Thank you 😘

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  2 года назад +1

      Hi there. Sodium Chloride/salt does strip hair colour. It used to be used widely in shampoo as a preservative but often replaced with alternatives. It could also be rather drying in its “raw” state.

    Hi! If I can use #1 and #2 at home, and 4 in 1 too, can you recommend how to incorporate them into my daily Olaplex routine?

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  2 года назад

      Hi there. 1 + 2 are really for professional use - 0 + 3 would be for home. I’m not sure what you mean by “4 in 1” ? If you are going to use 1/2 at home it would be as a stand alone treatment - details of that can be found on the Olaplex website

    • @westcoastgurl1029
      @westcoastgurl1029 2 года назад

      Sorry I didn’t clarify. I’m referring to Olaplex’s new professional use “4-in-1 Moisture Mask”. It is supposed to be a stronger concentration of the new #8.
      Otherwise, mainly I wanted to know IF I could use #1 & #2 at home, in between colorings, would there be any harm in doing it? Right now my colorist mixes it into the color. If I had a bottle of each at home would it be safe to use just like the new 4-in-1 is? Thank you! And the turtleneck looks great!

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  2 года назад +1

      No worries. No8 and the 4-in-1 are the same product. You could use it at home - although as I mentioned, it is really a pro use only kit…the 0/3 are for home use. None of the line will do any harm.

      That’s great. The most bond building/strengthening at home you can get is to add in No0 (it’s new-ish, you may not have seen it) with your No3. Then I would suggest No6.
