  • Keep your client's hair healthy and strong! In this tutorial and review, I walk you through each step of the entire Olaplex line, No. 1 - 7, and demonstrate it protecting a client's hair from chemical and heat damage during a big color and lightening process, with a full before and after.
    If you are at home and want to repair your hair I would also recommend this system. Each product in the Olaplex line is specially formulated to re-link broken bonds, and to help restore your hair back to it's natural health.
    This is a full and honest review, and I was NOT paid for this video.

    OLAPLEX MIXING CHART:

    TONER FOR ANNA'S HAIR:
    Root Melt: 1/2 oz of each 6N + 6T + 7V mixed with 1 1/2 oz of Redken Shades EQ processing solution for 10 minutes. I applied it on wet hair and combed down an inch with a wide tooth comb.
    Toner all over: 1/2 oz 9NA, 1/2 oz 9T, 1 oz 9P, 1 oz clear with 4 oz of processing solution for 10 minutes.

      I think people expect their hair to feel like they put a deep conditioning mask on it, but you're right, it works deeper than that. I think it makes my hair feel somewhat softer but only because healthier hair usually feels softer.

      I started using Olaplex about 5 months ago on my afro ethnic 3b/c hair and it is the absolute best! My hair always grew almost to waist but stopped years ago and was super dry/frizzy, I think due to abuse from chemical relaxers and hot curling irons. I went all natural and used Olaplex, now it grows an inch per month sometimes more (measured). I just reordered for the limited time 250ML no3, Olaplex website presented option to pay with the Amazon store card which is very nice & convenient.

    I can use 1 and 2, because they are rinsed and shampooed out, but not the others. I wish all product companies would use less fragrant formulas or remove the perfumes altogether. I’m chemically sensitive to them. It’s tough because there are so many great products I simply cannot use. you have the nicest voice and vibe! thank you for sharing btw! i might just take that drive to Philly (from NJ) to get my hair done with you! I recently went to get my hair baylaged with a very highly recommended hair stylist, I asked for blonde/ashy tones on my virgin dark brown hair and ended with gold, I expected different tones and not just streaks of the same color all over. I think my dark brown hair just looks awkward with gold all over as the colors highly contrast. I'm thinking about letting this grow out and adding some length to my hair before adding more color again. How would I go about booking an appointment at your salon? Should I ask for balayage or foilage or a color correction? I'm so scared to let anyone touch my hair again, but I would only really feel comfortable with you!

    i was about to order the whole at home system, then i see No1 is salon use only, yet Olaplex state "N°0 acts as an intensive repair booster working in tandem with N°3 to receive your most intense repair" So now i feel like im wasting my money. Any advice please?

    I find that No 3 is a bit "redundant"... but that's just me. I'd LOVE if you could do a tutorial on Olaplex Keratin ON COLOUR/BLEACH TREATED hair.

    The olaplex chart’s link doesn’t work. It says you need to have a professional account 😭😭 could you tell me the measurements here?😞

    I'm planning to dye my hair in a few months.. Should I start using Olaplex 5 now to prep my hair, or wait until it's actually died?

    Do you rinse no 2 before applying the toner?

    hello - I`m interested that you put no.2 on before the toner. Did you rinse it out before you aplied the toner or did you aply the toner over it? I usually tone first then rinse then apply no.2 so I`m interested to know your answer. Many thanks

    Thanks for sharing all your tips, I wish you were in NYC! I’m thinking of getting a GK keratin treatment, can I still use the olaplex 6 and 7 after? Also if I have some greys can I still use the redken eq to do the root melt, would it cover my greys?

    • @DaniellaBenita
      @DaniellaBenita  4 года назад +3

      Haydee Manning thank you!!! And yes you can use it after wards and if you want to cover grey I would suggest using color gels with 20 volume instead of shades eq. Shades eq will Blend greys but not completely cover ❤️

    I have never tried Olaplex. Is it good for dry and damaged hair from coloring?? I have been coloring my hair, since I was 37 years old. I'm 66 years old now. Still coloring my hair. Lol. What Olaplex products do you recommend for my hair?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you! 😊

    Hi - are any of these products useful for people who don’t color their hair anymore (going gray) and are just looking to condition and eliminate frizz and breaking from heat styling?

      Nancy Sici hi Nancy! I would look into Davines. They have a miracle vegetable conditioner that is fantastic. Here’s the link to it! us.davines.com/products/nourishing-vegetarian-miracle

    I find that when I use number 6 and 7 my hair becomes oily even when I use a little bit of product. Is it the product or my hair type?

    • @DaniellaBenita
      @DaniellaBenita  4 года назад +4

      Hey! It might be the product. The #6 is a leave in repair cream so it may be too heavy for you hair. I would use the number 7 only in your ends but if that's also too heavy I love davines oi oil.

      @@DaniellaBenita thank you so much for getting back to me. Now should I use #7 before or after I style my hair? And what is the best heat protectant in your opinion ? My hair is pretty thick.
