Hey Mike, I’m enjoying your video series, a skid steer restoration is definitely a project I want to do, but a quite few others have priority. 😊 I have the smaller version of that Vevor unit and it cleans very well I find with dishwasher powder rather than dishwashing hand liquid or degreaser. The other thing I do is put a folded towel over the lid to keep the heat in and get it even hotter. As for other Vevor tools, I have quite a few of theirs from hydraulic porta power pack to heavy duty impact sockets and other bits and pieces, I have been happy enough with them all, especially their mag drill. Keep up the good work, thank you for sharing and I look forward to seeing you progress the restoration. 😊
Vevor has a solid F BBB rating. Ultrasonic cleaners are very handy tools. I'll tell you this though. What you want is a dish washer. Set it up in the shop, or outside feed it power and water and let it eat. Best thing I ever did in my own shop before buying a commercial unit.
I'm no expert ,if that chain is like a motorcycle chain you may of boil the grease out of it . Probably not made like a oring chain on a motorcycle though
@@MikefromMissouri Yup, no judgement on you. Just letting people know they need to be aware. Dishwasher is pretty sweet, and can be quieter than the ultrasonic while doing a better job of cleaning. I've even run clothing through it. I save the ultrasonic for precision stuff. Carburetors, g-rotor pumps, valve bodies. High pressure systems, etc.
Hello Mike, I tend to use diesel to clean oily nasty engines and part. Always remember "like dissolves like" or in this case oil based products clean oil based products easier than water based. Diesel is dirt cheap compared to chemical cleaning agents. It will work in an ultrasonic cleaner. Also you can recycle and reuse the dirty diesel by filtering it thru cheap filters. I have used this method for many many projects and it just works. It's not fancy nor "green" but it sure as hell works on even the nastiest engine parts.

@@MrVajutza Hello, thanks for the tip on the dishwashing powder! I appreciate you watching and hope to get my hands on one of those mag drills.

@@Failure_Is_An_Option A Dishwasher is an interesting option. I can’t speak to Vevor’s reputation. I just gave the product a fair review.

@@kevinedwards9365 Yes it’s different and is lubricated by the oil bath it rides in. Thanks for the concern though!
As always, a pleasure to watch.
@@walterverlaan1286 thanks again!
Nice review. Also like how you incorporated updates on your skid steer project.
Thank You! Appreciate the comment

Another tool I need! LOL
Hood review. Keep up the good work.

One complaint no drain
@@JustinMiales Hello, it does have a drain valve and hose. Thanks for watching
I can't stand the smell of that simple green I don't know what it is
@@JustinMiales This is my first time using it. I normally use LA Awesome cleaner. Do you have something else you use that works better?
