The sister needs to remember it's her sister's wedding, her day, her dress. Also something "blue" is a long standing tradition.
Something tells me little sister is quite a bit jealous and doesn't mind playing the role of naysayer
That sister is not normal
White is a new tradition. Wedding best used to be your best clothes. And it should be what the bride/person wearing it wants and can afford.
DoiVDJR $KayK
Sisters need to remember the bride will be the one wearing the dress.
I loved the blue one she wanted. No one else should say "it's a good compromise." It's only the bride's choice.
Exactly
sometimes the entourage saves the bride from looking silly. the style of the dress she liked was nice but the blue was just too much. with her hair color and skintone she needs to stick to warm colors - ivory or blush, not blue.
@@dietotaku women with cooler toned skin tones tend to look good in cooler toned colors as well. This can apply to eyeshadow, hair dye, and clothing. So I get why she wanted blue for her complexion, and it was a totally valid preference which was not too much at all. Looked great at the end of the day and was happy, i'm just glad for her.
@@silvergangsta8 but she has a warm complexion?
Exactly
when they say theyre critical of her style choices but she's literally the best dressed person there...
LICHERALLY
They’re critical of her style because she looks beautiful and it makes them insecure. Only insecure people or stuck up snobs care about what others wear especially on their wedding day.
The sister most critical has the style of dry white toast. Her opinion regarding fashion should ignored.
So true
I don't think they have a great bond. Did some digging and she got married too recently, big sis was not in the wedding party. Sad!@@lizzrossi6931
I will never understand other people thinking they can dictate what a woman wears on HER wedding day.
"I can get behind that" sis, you don't need to get behind anything, you're not the one getting married.
I genuinely hate the people who are so invested in what the bride is wearing and are mean about the bride's vision when it doesn't match theirs.
ikr, Why do people take marriages so seriously? Its a celebration of the couple , not your family blood celebration that you are entitled to say negative things. Genuine concerns are fine but let the couple wear what they want
Why are people so hung up on wearing only white wedding dresses?
Exactly!!
And THIS is why l chose my gown alone 😃👌
@@donnawentz7079 because white dressés were traditionally for rich or royals as they could afford white linens and afford to clean them. Blue was actually the historical color for innocence.
@@niharikakhullar7675 Right?! The couple is throwing a party, and anyone coming is a GUEST at that party. You would never go to a dinner party and demand to have a say in what the hostess wears, why the hell do people think that a wedding is any different?
The sister really did my head in. She’s got to remember it’s the bride’s dress not hers. If she wanted a dress made of balloons, she bloody well should. (I don’t think you’d go that far but you readers get the idea lol )
Actually a really fun idea i bet if done well it could be beautiful & whimsical! 😋🤗 now i want to see a balloon dress 😂
@@bodybalancer Hahaha! Oh, I’m sure someone will probably do it if it hasn’t been done already. Would be a rather interesting wedding to see if that were to happen. 😂😁
rubbed me the wrong way at the end when she said it was a "perfect compromise" As if it was her dress as well.
Yeah that sister needed to chill
It's probably the classic "I'm jealous it's her and not me" thing that sisters do.
That sister has jealousy written all over 🙄 no matter what, she'll never be as a beautiful human being as her sister. I said it. 🎤
I totally agree with you! Jealous for sure. It's up to the bride what she wants to wear - not the ugly sister!
She looked 16 too.
I believe that sister was very young and, as a result, rather limited in her ideas and impressions of what makes a wedding. People have pointed out she may be jealous. I happen to think she was overly-invested in this wedding because it was this whole family’s focus. Kind of like an auntie with no kids of her own who’s highly involved with her nieces and nephews. 🤷🏻♀️
Very low blow; petty.
I love the mother in laws reactions to all the dresses, she was respectful and seemed genuinely happy for her when she tried on the second dress 💙
I actually loved the blue flowy dress she came in wanting. It complimented her skin and hair tone perfectly.
... and eyes!!
It was honestly PERFECT for her.
no, blue don't goes well with her skin color.
I defo 👍 agree
@@Ollie7707 😊
The Bluemarine dress was truly unique. Such a pity the store keeps promoting those boring Pninas just because they cost double the price.
This episode was filmed a long time ago unfortunately Bluemarine isnt doing bridal anymore
Exactly right
But she ended up liking the dress more. If she really loved the Bluemarine, she would've stuck with that one. Especially if she didn't like the budget.
💯
her assets looked amazing in it, for sure
I love how the consultants IMMEDIATELY jumped on board with the prank, and Randy went the extra mile to sell it.
I attended a wedding where the bride wore a light blue dress. Prettiest wedding dress I’ve ever seen. And she told no one about it, so it was a surprise to everyone there. It can be stunning!
I loved the blue dress, especially for a beach wedding. The color was so subtle. I thought it made her lovely red hair and complexion pop more than the ivory. My niece (who is a redhead) had a wedding in the woods (like a wood nymph fairy theme). Her "wedding dress" was ORANGE! Get behind THAT sis. lol
A friend of mine got married in navy. She looked lovely in it.
That sounds lovely 😍
Mine was silver, and it was beautiful.
I bet it complemented her hair beautifully
Well said lol
I actually loved her ice blue dream dress better than the dress she ended up with. 😬 it was flowy and beachy and a beautiful color.
Same. I'm disappointed she went for the ivory one
and cheaper
I'm not happy with the one she ended up with but she gets to decide because it is her day.
Yeah, me, too.
None of you have any idea what the dress ended up looking like!!!
It is so sad how many of the entourages seem to forget that it is the BRIDE who is wearing the dress. Her day, her choice.
If she feels amazing in that dress, then that’s what’s most important , not whether the entourage likes it or not.
The pale blue undertone is exactly what I have always wanted as well. She is beautiful and so is the dress she originally wanted, I can't stand when people attack the brides vision.
Would somebody mercifully explain to me why is everybody so stuck up with a wedding color tradition that started with England's Queen Victoria's notions of purity? Seriously, people?!?! She looked great in the blue dress!
Right!?
I'm having a pagan ceremony, so my bridal look is intentional. Speaking of notions of purity, I dropped a veil from my look due to its connection to a biblical property exchange rite.
I didn't even think it was based on notions of purity, but rather notions of "I have the money to afford a white dress that I'll only wear once" in a time when other women couldn't afford such a thing. I'm all for brides wearing the color that makes them happy!
@@starzzzy22 It started as a floss, but to shame poor women into adopting the custom it became about white being the seal of virginity, as sleazy and creepy as as that is.
Also I think blue used to be the traditional wedding dress color before it changed in Victorian times!
@@theshrey again correct, as where white had purity forced on it, blue has represented loyalty and fidelity, two much more important qualities in a wedding.
I'm so tired of consultants wanting to appease the entourage. The bride is the ONLY person to appease.
i think they do it because a lot of the brides won’t leave with a dress their entourage don’t like.
the dress she originally wanted was very flattering on her. I really wish her sisters and mothers were more in support of her choices because it was great
The second dress was so beautiful and it looked amazing on her.
The sister sounds pretty jealous ngl
I can understand why Erin doesn't take fashion advice from her 💀
She's a much plainer girl, wearing an ugly colour of dress. Her 'advice' should be limited to cat litter.
Even then, she clearly has strong opinions when she is likely to be wrong.
What a HUGE ego. to feel her advice should override the BRIDE'S preference.
@@georgielancaster1356 I thought of the bride as Cinderella and her ugly stepsisters. That one sister shouldn't be giving fashion advice to anyone.
@@jamesfournier3458 A romantic image.
It is sad that the reality of families is almost always far murkier than we presume. I am an only child and the sibling thing sometimes horrifies me.
I always wished I'd had a sister, but it could have been a nightmare!
YES. How dare she try and give fashion advice. Look at what she wore when she walked into the store. The glasses aren’t flattering either. I wouldn’t listen to her. The second dress was far more superior. I’m actually quite disappointed..
*SYTTD Entourage repeat after me…*
“I’m not the bride, it’s not my day, it’s not my choice, it’s about the bride”.
*Now be supportive & shush up.*
The entourage should be made to say it out loud, before the bride comes out in first dress.
Best reply 👏
Exactly!! The sister's facial expressions and constant disapproval of the blue would make me deliberately wear the blue one just to erk her. I suspect she's just jealous of her tall slim sister. I've seen it happen so many times. That's why I chose my dress alone.
Lol, that is awesome!
That should be posted outside of every bridal boutique and the entourage should be made to say it before the bride goes to the back to try on dresses. If certain people don't agree to those terms, they can either leave or stay silent.
After watching this show for awhile now I think the family needs to keep their opinions to themselves and let the bride decide!
The blue dress was beautiful on her. Never seen anything like it and it fit her beautifully. Shame she got talked out of it
I think they sold her on a more expensive dress. The blue was definitely more beach appropriate and it was her vision and she looked lovely.
They push Panini dresses like crazy. The second on she tried on suited her more. She looked radiant in it. However, Panini dresses are pricier so their commission is higher.
@@kathy3178 Exactly!
Yea she even said it everyting i DIDNT want yet she picked that as her dress. I bet she regretten that decision
It is usually the Pnina dresses they like to sell mostly. I am not a fan of her dress's either, to expensive for my taste.
She was also happier in the blue
Why would she change her mind for a very opinionated sibling who's probably jealous of her? With her beautiful red hair she looked stunning in her first dress of choice. She also looked stunning in the ivory but that's not the point. It's her day, her choice. Butt out sis.
She didn't change her mind for her sister, she actually preferred the design of the last dress, and her fears that it would clash with her coloring were quashed because the cream fabric was perfect for her. The bride came in with her mind set on one thing but her openness to trying something different was to her benefit.
I agree to a point, but she looked gorgeous in that last dress and adding a bit of blue to the skirt would give her the best of both worlds. If I was her, since she was having a small beach wedding, I would have left that dress as is. but later on, a have a reception at home and wear the blue dress. either at reception or else have a fancy engagement party and wear it. She reminds me of a friend I had when young, (she died of leukemia at age 42) she was a gorgeous redhead, but she did the same, white, washed her out, and so she wore an ivory gown. that was 40 years ago when she married. If she was getting married today, I have a feeling she would go for a blush gown. Redheads look gorgeous in blush.
Or better yet, since she was getting married on a cruise, she should wear the blue dress that night to dinner. or else to dinner on the dress up night. She could celebrate her wedding the whole cruise They said the budget was unlimited so I have a feeling Mom could buy both dresses.
Jealous as very unattractive & her attire is tasteless & unflattering.
People like you are the problem. Instead of being nasty towards women who may be 'jealous', you should attack the root of the problem and why this happens in the first place.
That blue dress(dress#2) looked beautiful on her🔥 last dress was beautiful too but the one she pining for looked really awesome❤
I think her sister was purposely trying to make her look like any other bride because she knows she can’t compete with her beauty, style, and uniqueness…
I preferred the blue dress the bride tried on (#2). She loved that dress and it looked so good on, she looked radiant. I understand why Randy encouraged her to try on more dresses, I was anxious by doing so she would be persuaded to go white or ivory. She did seem to live the last dress, I sensed a slight hesitation. Maybe when the blue is added, it will make all the difference. I didn't like the sister's attitude who seemed so against blue.
Wow you are so into this 😂
9
She said she fell in love with the white one though. It showed her cleavage better I think
yeah her sister looks very immature
Her sister seemed jealous and constantly living in her sister's shadow from what I observed.
Why on earth does her sister think a “compromise” should be made???!!! It’s not her wedding and it’s not her dress!! What an idiotic thing to say!!!
My daughter has beautiful copper red hair and was married in a gorgeous off -white dress. This bride looked so perfect in that soft blue! I wish we could have seen the swatch of blue suggested as an under lay for the dress she chose!!
The second blue dress was beautiful 😍 She was so happy too. I wish she would've gotten what she loved
“Bride wants the furthest thing from a traditional dress.” Bride wants a still traditional looking dress with a tint of pale blue. I really liked the dress she originally wanted, but she seemed to love the last one. I think it could have been neat to slowly make the layers of tule at the bottom blue to almost make a gradient like waves on a beach.
YES
That’s exactly what I was visualizing!
I wish they showed the finished product
Uhuuu I can picture that and the vision I have is stunning. I love gradience too
YESS!!! I kept hoping that Pnina would suggest this!!
The Bride with the choice to wear a blue dress is different and quirky which I love. The sister should support not persuade her in another direction. 💙💙💙💙
I agree hundreds 💯
exactly. she looked stunning in the blue lace dress.
I think she was just cares about her sister and wants her to consider other options
Totally agree!
I could never trust my sisters opinion, I would assume she’s was just jealous of how good I looked, and wanted me to tone it down instead of wow the crowd.
But that’s my experience
I’m not a confident person but I’m not blind to my perks either. I don’t trust my sister because she calls me ugly and fat even tho I weight 113
I actually love that ice blue coloring for a beach / ocean wedding. That is so soft and romantic.
This is an old one and seeing the bully of a sister urgh . Love the bride and her beautiful personality. She’s stunning in the unexpected dress that she found. So lovely 🥰 ♥️😍
I freaking love that aquamarine dress... on a beach? On a redhead?? It's friggen perfect! *sigh*
The bride is amazing! The family is so in shock they can't even tell from the brides expression that she doesn't even think the first dress is an option. Hilarious. Good for her- she looked perfection!
Oddly enough, I liked the first dress and thought it would have been nice in her size. I thought it was as nice as the dress she chose, just much cheaper. Ultimately, it wasn't what she was looking for, but I didn't think it was an ugly dress.
The blue dress is amazing
I loved the blue lace dress that she wanted. It really was beautiful and bridal, and would have looked great on the beach.
She looked Blue-tiful in that second dress. The bride should’ve picked what she wanted. It’s her wedding.
She said it was the 3rd one she wanted.
@@kathyhansen9546 she should’ve picked what she wanted . She seemed influenced by her entourage in her decision. It should’ve been entirely hers is my point 😊
Her dress was #2 .... It was just perfect for her and she looked absolutely stunning... Her sister was just hating that she ain't as pretty and quirky n fun smh ... That dress she choose was not for her
Thank you for pointing out that the sister(s) was not/were not as attractive as the bride. Jealousy does rear its ugly head in that family!
Wow.. You people are awful. She CLEARLY love her sister. Be nicer!!!
@better secret
Stockholm Syndrome
I really loved the final dress. I was as surprised as the bride. The multilayers of the sheer fabric on top could end up looking like toilet paper wrapped around like a mummy, but this really is subtle and natural looking. It's a little more conservative than most Tormei's dresses. This was a nice twist.
As a fellow read head, I totally understand not wanting to wear white. I felt that on a spiritual level lol
I laugh at the reactions of the entourage when it comes to colored dresses. In 1974 I was married in a robin's egg blue dress with a white overlay with embroidered lilies of the valley. Thankfully my ex-stepmother was an accomplished seamstress and made the dress. My mother wasn't married in white either in 1954. My daughter did wear white though. Wear what makes you the happiest!
Oh that dress sounds gorgeous!!!! 😍
My registry office wedding dress was royal blue jersey day-dress, with a little posy of white roses. My mother cried when I showed her the photo and said the old rhyme: "Married in blue, your love will be true." He was my true love till he died in 2018 after 33 wonderful years.
I got married in a dress I got from a vintage shop. It was satin with a light blue and dark blue swirling pattern on it. It had long sleeves, a boat neck and was 3/4 in length. It was from the 1960s era and cost me about twenty dollars.
My mother married my father wearing a suit and strappy gold sandals. She looked great.
That’s a beautiful sentiment! ps- your step-mother sounds like a dream. Brava to her for making *your* dream come true!
love love LOVE that second blue dress 😍 it really suited her and hers wedding vision 😊
Don't understand why sister was so against it 🤔
It reminds me of when you were in an ice cream shop when you were a little kid and you always wanted the blue ice cream. The "if I only get one I want the blue one" mentality.
Also, it hardly looks blue on my screen!
I agree and that second blue dress would of been beautiful for a beach wedding. The one she chose was pretty but I've seen it everywhere. The blue dress would have been more memorable.
That dress looked like a bridesmaid dress she would have been out shined on her own wedding if she wore that dress
Because it wasn't what she wanted, simple.
I love that second dress! It looked so beautiful on her! Really accentuated her perfectly and looked like a beach dress.
When I get married I plan on wearing a very colorful dress like a Chiapas dress or a very bold red dress. For me it’s what I feel comfortable and happy in. And it’s the dress that will be in photos I’ll have until I die. So I will wear what I love the look and feel of. I don’t feel like this is much of a “compromise” since the bride didn’t get the dress or color she wanted in the end. It’s a beautiful dress not going to lie but would have loved to see it in blue like she wanted!
That second dress was her choice from the second she put it on. It felt like she wasn't so sure about the last dress and she said yes anyways
I didn't get that feeling from her reaction. She was amazed that she looked so beautiful in the dress even before she got feedback from her family.
@@YT4Me57 The 2nd dress was half the price, you can clearly see when the consultant went for a pricey dress that was nothing like what the bride asked for, and said: "this is exactly what Erin wants" while the bride literally said:"I don't think this is the dress". Plus she was still making her mind after the feedback when the designer caught her off guard and it felt like she was obliged to say yes
The last dress’s color was perfect for her. A bright white would’ve washed her tf out. But DAMN that second blue dress was amazing too.
This has literally inspired me to look at blue dresses. I didn't even know this was an option and I love it
The blue dress is gorgeous!!! Sister ohhh.. get past it already!!! It's her wedding, her day, her choice. You will have your day later.
What a beautiful bride ! Her second blue dress was so pretty and really suited her. The last ivory dress looked amazing too.
I don't know why her sister even got to have her say in it like gurl you can wear white for your own wedding but rn it's not your wedding. The mom was more mature about it.
Randy Fenoli was the beautiful one. He was 50 and literally crazybeautiful here.
Loved her blue dream dress, it really suited her and she would have been so unique, but she compromised to look like any other bride in an over priced pnina, what a shame.
"Every other bride" isn't going to have the blue underlay...
All of the brides on this show are always so beautiful! Her dream dress was stunning and blue looks amazing on her.
This bride is the sweetest! I absolutely love the dress she picked in the end. ☺
I love the 2nd dress better. It suited her more, and is a beautiful compliment to her hair and complexion.
I agree. The ivory washed her out.
Speaking as someone who customized a midnight blue prom dress into my wedding dress 💙 the feeling you have in your dress is a million times more important than what other people have to say about your day 💙💙💙 the only person that matters is the one waiting at the end of the aisle for you
I love midnight blue
the first dress she tried in was actually so pretty. maybe not as a wedding dress but for like a sweet 16 or quinceañera it would be really pretty.
How is that not subtle? It’s such a pretty color and definitely looks perfect on her!
Why do family members and friends feel they have the right to dictate what a bride wears on her wedding day. Its her wedding, her dress. She brought them along as a courtesy and as a support system, not as judge and jury. As the saying goes if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing.
Because the producer on the site is telling the entourage what to say, what to hype as drama, and how to react to the various dresses. There are any number of videos on YT telling how false these so-called "reality" shows are, and this one---all the bridal shows, including the Gok and David ones---are the worst of the worst for all they lying that goes on.
People like the sister who make a bride's appointment and dress about themselves are just selfish. Why should a bride have to compromise on anything ?
She looked best in the dress she originally wanted. I hope she went back to get the dress she really came in for.
Back in 2010, there were exactly two dress styles available: strapless a-line and strapless princess. I tried on 71 dresses and they all looked the same to me. I had to find a Spanish designer so that I could at least get a dress that was somewhat one-shouldered. I wish I had gotten more recently and had choices; but I definitely wish I'd gone to a tailor and gotten a handmade gown, but it wasn't price-wise in the cards at the time.
The blue goes with her hair and complexion perfectly.
Edit: I don't like when they put the other designers dresses down and shove Panina's dresses down everyone's throat. Randy should know better.🥰
Pnina. Only one A in her first name.
her dress isnt tht nice to me
I think the reason they always suggest Pnina Tornai is because Randy's company is like in cahoots with the brand or something. I read that somewhere years ago, but I can't remember where
@@saviitrius that's gotta be the reason and it makes the show boring.
Ditto!
She looked amazing on the blue dress she wanted. Her family's reactions showed that they thought so too. Honestly I hope she swapped back after the fact. I think she'd be happier long term with the blue one.
I love this bride, she knew what she wanted and her choice at the end/compromise was beautiful
It's not blue like the ocean! Get over it!! She looks Stunning!
I can't imagine going to someone else's dress appointment and wanting them to compromise with ME!
Okay but this sister thinking it’s her wedding and that she has a choice is hilarious 😆
Honestly, the dress 2nd dress she liked wasn't blue enough. She is so vibrant with the red hair and freckles, that she needed a stronger, richer blue to play off that. She looked like a supporting character. So glad she went with the white dress.
Man they messed her up. She cared so much about what they thought. I feel she convinced herself to like the last one. The blue one was perfect with the looser fabric and the way it flowed and fit.
I love this blue dress on the bride I don't know why her sister just can't support her it's not her sister wedding and not hers
With an unlimited budget, she could have gotten the ivory gown for the ceremony, and the blue for the reception. Sometimes I wonder if these "unlimited budgets" are actually unlimited, or they are just saying that to sound rich!
This is a great idea, actually. Putting on an extravagant, over-the-top dress that no one will like lol. Good job, Erin!!!!!! Great pick. Hahaha
I LOVEEE that the shop was downplaying all the dresses but her dream one to make her entourage side with her
I was Erin's high school clarinet teacher- this family is so genuinely sweet and so supportive of each other. Best wishes for an amazing life with your husband, Erin!
🧡 I love this comment
Why is everyone always so opinionated on someone else’s wedding dress? It’s not like they have to wear it only the bride needs to love it
A bride I knew chose a pale blue velvet Chanel suit for her candlelight wedding. It was perfect on her and in the environment (and she got to wear it again.) The bride should plan and choose what SHE envisions. It’s her (and her fiancée’s) event.
🤣🤣🤣👍 Well done!! Idk if I have ever laughed so much through a yes to the dress show! 🤣👍
I cannot freaking take it when the "encourage" won't zip it. "I don't likeit....I don't like the color...I! Like the pooch dress...." I could go on. IT IS NOT YOUR WEDDING! WHEN....and only when...it is your day, you can pick your very own. Until then, zip it. Your are there to be supportive and happy for the bride, it is HER day, HER dress...geez
My mother's dress in 1960 was light blue, tea length. The ivory dress with blue underlay will be perfect.
The blue dress was so much better she looked stunning in it!
No idea why I am addicted to watching these when I have no desire to ever get married.
I always bristle when one or more in the entourage push their own sense of taste over the bride’s.
I'm convinced that they hide Pnina inside a wardrobe!! Nd brings her out as soon as a bride says UNLIMITED BUDGET!!
Aww.. the bride could have said 'I look beautiful in it'... not just it works.. You are stunning!
The sisters are like oh yeah it's not blue, it's not blue. It's also not your wedding. Hush!
The dress she chose reminds me of when ripples of water meet the beach. And the blue lining will set it off. I wish I could see the finished gown❤
Me, too! Nobody is commenting on that. She is still getting blue in the dress!
@@marykok6703 yes! Completely different - which is what she wanted.
That blue dress looked fantastic on her. Her sister is so dowdy! Who is she to give fashion advice?
The girls look really good in that dress that she picked! LOL she looks absolutely gorgeous in that last dress.
I love the blue dress. It really highlights her coloring…
Looks like the sister is blue with envy ahah
I would love to see her chosen dress in blue!
They just pull out Panina when they want the bride to close the sale hahaha
She’s look gorgeous in her drama dress , just so beautiful !
I really hate the word "compromise" in these videos. It's the bride's day, it's her choice, she does not need to compromise for anyone. Every time I hear one of the entourage say that I want to scream. Also, from the way the sister was talking, it seems like she's very judgy and doesn't seem to respect her sister much at all. Really sad to see.
I loved the light blue dress she wanted! Mine was a darker shade of light blue and I was very happy with it! Why not?
That sister is really out there. Prob jealous would be my guess. And I would t worry about her taste
I'm so happy I chose my dress on my own, I had so many heated discussions with family before hand about wanting a blue dress... And on the day everyone agreed, it was more than perfect 🙄😂
