Cook-cook is a pyro Driver Nephi is a demoknight Boone is a sniper Doc Mitchell is medic (he replaced your organs with a baboon's and also surgically added your soul to himself while you were out) The Camp McCarren legionaire is a spy The wondering stranger is scout (his dad is also a spy and abandoned him) The Boomers guard who bombards you is soldier And who's the character that's a cowboy mechanic? That's right! Raul is engineer Edit: i somehow forgot heavy, but if you're wondering, it's probably Cannibal Johnson, but if you don't agree, maybe one of the many heavy supermutants or BoS knights.
New Vegas as the Demoman could be fun. Grenade launchers, mines and swords only and you're not allowed to eat or drink anything that isn't alcoholic. New Vegas as the Pyro is pretty fun as long as you never take the Meltdown perk. Fallout 4 as the Scout could work pretty well. You get a bunch of armor pieces with the Sprinter's effect, then a sawn off shotgun, Deliverer, and an aluminum bat and you're set. Heavy in any of the games would work pretty well, but New Vegas is the only one with both pump shotguns and sandwiches. Engineer only really works with mods.
As far as we know, France probably still exists in the Fallout Universe, but the writers never cared enough to clarify the deets about them. Which I find oddly funny, since in real-life, France is one of the countries with the most nukes and nuke-defense system.
I don't think the writers "never cared" about giving details about France (and the entire rest of the world), it's more just that Fallout as a series has always been a parody of 1950's USA, the American Dream, and - most importantly - it's failings. The focus on the US alone also, perhaps ironically, reflects how many Americans have a narrow perspective of the world at large, viewing it as though only the US exists.
Europe is a waste land. The only 2 countries standing were the US and China. The others literally destroyed themselves during the oil wars that forced nuclear to become a thing.
France and many other European countries were already completely destroyed even before the final nuclear exchange between America and China. In the Fallout Universe the "European Commonwealth" declared war and invaded the Middle East during the 2050s for it's few remaining oil fields which resulted in a decades long conflict with limited nuclear strikes being conducted. Once the oil finally dried up from the region the Commonwealth had already broken apart with the surviving members then fighting each other for the few remaining resources like water and food. Couple that with the added destruction from being peppered by the massive yield nuclear missiles the American's and Chinese sent all across the world in 2077, I would be very surprised if anything besides bunkers deep in the Swiss mountains happened to survive at all. I think that's the reason why we hear very little about Europe in the games.
France and much of Europe were already destroyed even before the nuclear missile exchange between America and Communist China. A decade long resource war between the "European Commonwealth" and the Middle East over oil happened in the 2050s which was devastating and even saw some limited nuclear strikes between the two. It eventually ended once the oil fields dried up in the region along with the collapse of both as functioning entities. The few surviving groups then spent the next remaining years squabbling over food or water. So you combine that with the nuclear apocalypse of 2077, where the entire thermonuclear arsenal of the United States and China was sent not only at each other but every other continent as part of the whole mutually assured destruction thing, and I would be very surprised if anything but some bunkers in Switzerland survived at all. That's the reason why we hear almost nothing about Europe in the games.
Mr. House when Spy goes for Yes Man run: The Courier has already breached our defenses... You have seen what he has done to our securitrons... And worst of all, he could be wielding a golf club!
I'd love to see it! Especially because he'll need a TON of strength and carry weight perks... and ammo. And money to repair them because they're damn expensive Pretty much like Sasha
I feel like it would've made more sense for any tf2 based build to choose mr house. Since you're a mercenary, and they have no interest in leading anyone. And considering how the mercs are employed by the Mann Brothers.
I've wanted to do a Demoman build for a while but never got around to it. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Explosives (obviously) Melee Repair maybe? Can't use projectile weapons Can't benefit from perks that involve sight or eyes (so that glasses one) Must immediately drink any alcohol you find.
this run actually inspired me to do a revolver only challenge it was actually quite enjoyable, the build crafting, the roleplay as one of those rogue gunslingers roaming the mojave, protecting the innocent and purging the evil yes man and I both loved it!
"And somehow this guy recognized me as an impostor, I don't know how..." Probably because just like how the rangers can recognize disguised NCR soldiers, Eddie knows instantly which powder Ganger isn't on his side. Your disguise is useful, but not flawless.
If you somehow mod the jetpack onto some regular civilian clothes, add insane knock back to the sawed off shotgun and double your movement speed you could pull off a Fallout 4 scout build that would feel pretty spot on.
The reason why Lanius died so quick is because his helmet sucks. It looks sick, but it has only 4 DT. Hollow points would of course triple that but compared to the Ranger's Sequoia's massive damage, 12 DT isn't going to do much.
1:10 This challenge requirement COMPLETELY blindsided me. I thought he was just going to use weapons and stealth analogous to Spy, but Fish wants to go ALL the way in his immersion.
If I may suggest even though I have only now found your videos? Since you’ve done Spy, you must do his rival the Sniper now. Scoped rifles, SMGs and machetes. Max out survival, go hunting and use campfires for healing supplies. Oh, and I should suggest: as a possible side objective for any future TF2 builds, you gotta try and get every available unique hat or weapon that the class would use
Ya know, you can steal the Ranger Sequoia and the Mysterious Magnum without killing Hanlon or the Lonesome Drifter. Ya walk up to them, punch them once, switch to a gun, shoot the gun out of their hand, grab their gun off the ground, and run for it. Get far enough away, crouch, and wait until you're hidden. And there ya go! No reputation loss, either!
I attempted a similar challenge on my own a while back, but I used some mods to make it more 'spy' I used a mod so whenever I sneaked in game, I would automatically go invisible, along with mods to improve how functional stealthboys actually are. And after that I couldn't find any sort of backstab mod so I just heavily increased the critical sneak damage and used the realistic headshots mod to make headshots much more damaging. lots of fun
The easy way to get Chance's Knife is to just stay all the way to the left and run along the edge of the map while sneaking. You'll end up on top of the cliffs that the cazadores are in. If they detect you, their pathfinding will break. You can then do a bit of parkour to get bacck up on the cliffs after getting the knife.
Lets see what Heavy and Soldier would do on this situation for sure. Both would work for the government of the NCR at some point (specially Heavy since he would have a total grudge on the Legion since his family was imprisoned on a Gulag)
so as to why the hollow points worked real well. The general rule of thumb is this If the damage the weapon does normally is equal to or greater than 2.67x the target's DT, Hollow point rounds will deal more damage to the target than normal or AP rounds would, regardless of their DT Lanius's armor and helmet give him a DT of 19. 2.67x that is just below 51. The RS does 62 damage with standard. HP punts that up to 108, and treats lanius like he has 57 DT. So each attack before limb modifiers does 51 damage to him, as opposed to the 43 damage with standard rounds. now if you had some SWC rounds, which are craftable, those would have done more, as while they provide a smaller boost to damage, 1.2x instead of 1.75x, they also ignore 6 DT instead of tripling the target's DT, therefore leaving the damage at 61 in this case against Lanius
I've always wanted to do a spy build in fall out 4, use blits to get ranged sneak attacks with a knife since melee has better sneak attacks, and use my banked crits for garunteed headshots with a revolver
Next challenge should be F3 Pootis Heavy (unarmed and food only.) Specials would be max endurance and strength, high intelligence, no agility with movement speed penalty. The goal is to throw food items at NPCs or gather all of the unarmed weapons in the game.
Demoman would be a fun next class to do in New Vegas. Explosives (maybe focus on Grenade Rifles&Launchers) and Melee Weapons (Bumper Swords work as Demoknight weapons)
I'd love to see if it's possible to beat any of the Fallout games you listed as Engineer. I have to wonder if there's anything even remotely analogous to his buildings. Even the dispenser would be game-changing.
House would have been the more appropriate faction to side with. Ancient dude kept alive by machines? He's basically a Mann brother. He even had a feud with his actual brother.
Been wanting Nerbit to do Fallout 3/NV or 4 as Heavy, seems fun. Shotgun, and fist only weapons. He'd be an absolute unit! I'd love to see you do it, Fish.
you can disable the dlc weapons by disabling there mods in the launcher data files menu AND deleting the .nam (but NOT .esp) files of there same name from your FNV folder. This ensures there properly disabled.
