Great demo. On my mk7.5, the bottom trim piece was hard to get off. With some gentle persuasion, it finally released. The device seems to be working well now. Wish I had it on there 5 years ago...
Thanks for your great videos. I have already used several to make my golf better. Can you tell me how you put the charging cable through the vent (blower) above the radio display?
If you have the light flashing: Set it up. Ignition on. Wait for start stop to light up (or press it if doesn’t automatically) and wait 3 seconds. Press the start stop 3x in succession. Wait for it to light up again straight away with 3 seconds (1) press 2x for memory mode, or (2) press 3x for always off by default mode (wait for button light up), or (3) press 4x for service mode (wait for light off)

Excellent! You said this was possible through obd11 - do you know how? The obd11 "apps" for this car only show an option to permanently turn off "start stop"
I have one of these. A very inexpensive and good solution. The OBD11 solution doesn't work as well because it usually throws a code. An often saught after solution on VAG forums.
It's normal for a car to "save power" or shut down systems if it's been idle for more than 24/48 hours. It's quite strange what you're experiencing. If the car is used, it works fine without any issues, and the settings are memorized and disabled. However, if the car has been parked for the mentioned time and you start it again, it doesn't remember the off position of the SS system. Has this happened to anyone? Thank you.
You thing if its possible to add Mode button and activate different modes if your car does not have this?? Also traction control button or any one arround the gear lever?? Thanks
So,,, I have an Amarok,,, to stop the Stop Start Feature, disconnect the wire that goes to a little black box hanging off the negative terminal of the battery,,, no more stop start for me
@@mrfixpl Thank you for the reply. You inspired me to do some digging and found the one for my car... It's a little more expensive... But honestly to cure this headache it's worth it. Just in case anyone else is looking for it. Search "E210 brake hold" and you should be able to find it. I would post a link but they'll probably take the comment down.

I assume this would work the same for mk7 which has a Start/Stop ignition button as apposed to yours which has a standard ignition with a key?
Key / keyless shouldn’t Matt over here.
Great! 👋
This will fit to Leon III 5F?
Would it work on T-roc 2020?

It is possible but it will require adding activation code by default. Sadly it’s not a DIY job.

I am looking to install the "drive mode" button of a seat arona/ibiza kj7, but I cannot find where it is connected, hopefully someone can help

Well, this is for VW Golf Mk7 and couple other VW vehicles. I don’t think it’s going to fit Corolla just like that.

Why is everybody so annoyed by start stop always? I don’t mind it.
Some do mind it. I personally hate it. Cuts the oil flow to turbo for me example.
Premature starter failure, excessive wear on the battery, and God only knows how much extra wear and tear on the bearings.
