Saw these guys at a show in Atlanta @ 93. Myself and 7 hippie buddies from UGA. Show was great. Bad Brains was opener. Car broke down and we were stuck out front for at least 2 hours after show. We could occasionally see band members walking back and forth in the building, but front doors were locked and we were stuck outside with no transportation. Corey Glover opens the door to us homely looking 8 guys and tells us to all come in and enjoy the after party! One of the best experiences of my life! Thank you Corey!!!!
Such a great, great song, and of course the band is just phenomenal. All of 'em! I have everything these guys have released (and some they haven't!) and this might be my very favorite song.
Saw 'em opening For Guns N Roses and The Rolling Stones Closed. They Killed!!!! Been a fan ever since. Recently saw Corey Glover solo In Louisville KY. Awesome!!!
This album is still on rotation in my Playlist...I love this song... I feel like there should be a Lollapolaza for Black Rock Stars...Living Colour, Kings X (although they have white members as well), Tony MacAlpine, Greg Howe, Bad Brains, Fishbone...I could go on, but they need to get recognized for their contributions to the Rock industry, and what better way than to have a huge concert and tour...I guarantee you that it would be a hit..BlaRockaPalooza...yah
I love this song so much I never liked them so too much back in the day cuz I can stand with a band was oversaturated on the Airways with MTV somehow I ended up with their second album I think it was The Color Purple and the the cassette was named stained by Living Color and I know this freaking song Amazing now that was back when I was 20 something else 45 I just thought of it the other day and I've been searching it LOL it really holds up really really hold up great song think they should have had a career on this song anyways I love everybody that loves the right thing and if you don't keep trying
Is it still the same full band today as of 2011 as it was in the 80s? The one dude that said "It's Saturday Night Live With Living Colour" seemed different.
It's a shame that the bass player is wearing a T-shirt with Che Guevara's face on it! A murderer! Much pain and disappointment. I don't hear them again. Cancelled.
Its 2020 and this still sounds absolutely amazing!!!
…and in 2023! ;) - Where did 30 Years go!?
This song is absolutely mezmorizing. Their talent far exceeds anything in today's music scene.
Wish I had Corey's vocals... great voice. They are all great musicians. This Song after what eighteen years? Still has not gotten old! Classic
Fantastic, fantastic band! I have a vid of them doing Ignorance is Bliss during sound check of a show in KC last summer among my vids :)
Shane Dupor I think it's twenty two years actually....
I Love this Band!

One of the best rock bands that never really got there due.
A song of theirs that haunts me, stays in my head after all these years. Nice to see it live.
Also that drumming!

This is the most under-appreciated bassline I know of.
Awesome tune...
Awesome band...
Live Long and prosper Living Colour!
I appreciate when a band sounds as good in person as they do on CD.
The MTV Daytona beach spring break performance of this song is Goat.. right after Stain came out
My favourite song from "Stain". Very emotional performance, great.
One of there best jams ever

Great band! Saw the footage from Montreux Jazz Festival - absolutely brilliant. Frank Zappa would be proud of them.
Long live Living Colour

Try... The Family Stand "Moon In Scorpio" and 24-7 Spyz "Harder Than You" if you haven't already...
A beautiful, introspective song by a usually hard-rocking, social-commentary band. Unusual sentiments from them. Love the song. Listen to it often.
Nothing unusual....this band reminds unexplored.
I love you guys!!!!!!
always a great track
Love this song!! What a great band!
Such an awesome tune! So happy, that I found these guys...

Corey has come a long way from being the one who stabs himself in the leg to get out of Vietnam in Platoon.
I didn't know that.
holy shit. had no idea. very cool factoid
It honestly doesn't get much better than this...not in any genre...
@StevenHoste What happened to Skillings?
Left in 92 to do his own thing.
Is it still the same full band today as of 2011 as it was in the 80s? The one dude that said "It's Saturday Night Live With Living Colour" seemed different.
I believe that was Doug Wimbish who took over for Muzz around 92. (not sure about spelling) lol
Great fucking rock balad song!
It's a shame that the bass player is wearing a T-shirt with Che Guevara's face on it! A murderer! Much pain and disappointment. I don't hear them again. Cancelled.
You are exercising your right just as he is. As one of their songs say , there are two sides. A lie and the truth.
