This is such an excellent cover. Obvious the Boss is the Boss and his is awesome. But I love them both equally. LC sings it from a perspective that they totally can connect to as black men and Bruce writes it from the perspective as someone who simply understands the twisted logic and reasoning of our country when it comes to skin colour and his lyrics and passion every time he sings this is fire to the soul. Everytime I hear Bruce repeat, "You can get killed just for living in," I crumble.

You dont fire in your duty on someone without having a good reason. I am sure that because i'm white and i've got a good facial, i would doing the same equal gesture of searching my ID, nobody would shout me. At the end, because i'm white and of good presentation, nobody would dare to stop me and ask something. And nobody cant tell if he was send to the hell or whatever! If you can't get past the fact that the guitar isn't technically perfect and you can't hear and feel the emotion pouring out of this performance, I can't help you. Maybe when you grow up a little you will understand.
