    I was at this show. At the time, "Cult of Personality" hadn't hit it big yet and nobody knew who they were (at least nobody in Auburn). The show was at the Student Activities Center. They blew the roof off of the place! I was hooked on them after that. I saw them a few years ago on the "Experience Hendrix" tour in Atlanta. They haven't changed. They stole the show both times.

      Hey Auburn Alumni here. Wasn't aware they played at Auburn. Where was this? Coliseum I assume?

    • @CraiginATL
      @CraiginATL 10 лет назад +2

      wilbo09 It was actually at the Student Activities Center, not the Coliseum. It was a show sponsored by MTV (back when the "M" stood for "music"). Living Colour's album had just come out but hadn't taken off yet.

      +Craig Phillips how'd you like the guitarist?

    • @CraiginATL
      @CraiginATL 8 лет назад +1

      +Kaliye Palata: Vernon Reid was/is awesome. I saw Living Colour back a few years ago in Atlanta as part of the "Experience Hendrix" tour. He's incredible.

      +Craig Phillips My problem with vernon is that he shreds too much and he likes to make blurs of noises when he plays instead of making melodies. he can play very well but I feel that he chooses not to.

    Hands down my favorite song on the album. And that's saying a lot when you consider all the great songs on Vivid.

      I met him at a drum clinic he did around the time Stain was out. He told me it was his biggest priority that the snare was always up in your face.

    Such a mesmerizing song. I could sit and listen to each part of this song from each of the individual members, on its own, and marvel at the musicianship. Then you put it all together.

    Corazones Rotos
    Veo los fragmentos de los sueños que solia tener,
    Y trozos de aspiracion yaciendo en la arena
    El vidrio manchado de la pared del amor
    por el cual no puedo ver
    Proporciona la unica luz aqui en mi habitacion solitaria
    Una brisa me recuerda a los cambiantes tiempos y lugares
    Una lagrima que toma una eternidad rueda por tu rostro atemporal
    Escucho que dicen que los corazones rotos se arreglaran
    Pero cuando lo hacen nunca son tan buenos como al principio
    Desearia en este momento poder cambiar las cosas
    Nunca quise hacer las cosas que hice para hacerte daño
    Realmente nunca pense que esto temrinaria asi
    A veces las cosas que pierdes son por lo general las cosas que extrañas
    Veo la razon por la que he hecho las cosas
    Ahora son transparentes y veo la verdad
    Escucho que dicen que los corazones rotos se arreglaran
    Pero cuando lo hacen nunca son tan buenos como al principio
    Desearia en este momento poder cambiar las cosas
    Se que no me crees pero me importas
    Y nunca quise hacer las cosas que hice para hacerte daño
